At least a few hundred thousand IM. We're starting work on the Dauntless this month, aiming to complete 1/3 of its construction (112,393 IM), plus 12 Type A Wyverns (185,520 IM).
That's what I originally had in mind, but we can go beyond that. Our crafting capacity expanded last month, and we don't have as many strategic expenses now that the Gem Table and Anchors for eight Legions are complete. If we don't try to squeeze in work on another Moonchaser, we should be able to comfortably include another 100,000 IM in Air Force crafting.

I'd make 12 Type-B Wyverns for the Moonchasers, leaving the Type-A's to form their own air-wing.
Also add a few Manticores once I'm done with them, since the little Other encounter has me convinced that we need something mobile that can reliably blast a dragon out of the sky in a quick fashion. Maybe get started on a carrier complement of Type-B's for future PoF operations, but that's kinda predicated on having the room to squeeze in the carrier.

This is great, dude. I've linked your post to the Wyverns in my Armor section. I've gone ahead and scheduled the Ghost Ward armor upgrade for our 27 Type A Wyverns this month to bring them up to full spec.
Mage Hand can easily manipulate tools from within a warded and shielded area.
What we should consider is a way to smother the entire production floor beneath a tide of sand or something after the wildfire itself has been dispelled.
Mags hand creates a single limb for manipulating a target, telekinetic assembly allows the caster to perform the work of 1 worker/2 caster levels plus an additional worker for at least one rank in engineering, and another every 5 ranks after that.
It's specifically for building siege engines, but it allows you to do a lot of complicated tasks simultaneously and to some degree draws on the knowledge of the caster.
It might not be worth the research project, but I see no reason that it couldn't be the basis for an enchantment (or possibly a new spell) for doing all the "mundane" work of a crew of alchemists. If we could pull that off, it would be a way better solution than mage hand, and possibly supplement our other production needs depending on where we go with it.

Though you do not doubt that Moonsong would be able to find some fey able to read off a spell of the Ninth Circle, more often than not at least you would rather not start a tradition in your navy of having gremlins on the bridge as a vital part of their defenses. So instead you pledge to buy charms forged with the spell, something anyone can make use of by just snapping them in two and releasing the light within. Though of course you would need the light outside the ship...
"Onyx Shell, now's your chance, get those sketches up here," Moonsong calls over the internal communications to engineering.
Unsurprisingly a stout tinker fey with about half his shell replaced with soot-blackened steel rushes into the bridge with the plans for an 'arcane transference siphon'. From the look of it several enchanters collaborated to shape the tinker's thought into solid plans. This is certainly not something written in a few hours.
"Fascinating work," you note. "What were you trying to do before the enemy showed us the need for such a thing in battle?"
"Different sort of lighting effects, cheaper than proper glamours. Move the light, shape it, twist it and there you go," Onyx Shell explains happily.
"Excellent, that deserves a commendation all on its own, the best battles are those half-won beforehand, in the general's council or the craftsman's workshop."

By the time the trio of ships arrive in Sorcerer's Deep word of the battle had already spread from the brazier speakers, but you make it clear what while the general shape of events can be spoken of freely, they should not share precise details of the worst of the foe. A battle in the north against dark spirits of frozen barrows, a triumph in spite of the foe's dark sorcery, strange tales but not too strange for Sorcerer's Deep and hopeful for all that in spite of the news that some had perished in the fight.
One of the wyvern pilots and more than three scores of Thenns do not answer your sister's call, but Dany breathes a quiet sigh of relief that silence had been the worst of it. Both of you recall all too clearly what had happened the first time she had attempted to summon from death one under the hand of the Void.

Eight Day of the First Month 294 AC
So it is that on the next day you stand before a packed but not overly sober square and of course a sending mirror to give thanks and rewards to those who fought most valiantly against the foe. The Thenns among the crowd still look uncomfortable, though you suspect that has as much or more to do with the fact that they are still sweating in heavy furs and leathers as the strangeness of the city. As Styr had put it 'after flying through the air for half the night just about any piece of solid ground will look normal enough.'
As Nirath had quietly refused any reward on the grounds that it was no more than the agreed upon bargain when you set off for Sorcerer's Deep and Nettles had taken a small pouch of coin and gone looking 'for some place to build a house on' neither of them are present for your speech, but you take care to mention the aid of everyone who had been part of the expedition to the north. From Westeros to Essos and even onto distant Sothoryos all had done their part in preserving the lives of the Thenns and driving the enemy back.
Lost 500 IM (Nettles' reward)
For most this is just a show of the navy's power and 'sorcerer's work' in distant lands, but for the Thenns who had lost hearth and home and in many cases kin to an enemy they had thought before beyond vanquishing this is hope.

OOC: I know that is not a lot of marks for Nettles but it is what she considered reasonable for the fight. Fighting an Other in the sky was dangerous yes, but she wasn't its main focus nor did she and Sheepstealer deal the most telling blows.
Vee and Malarys just gained a level, and Daenerys and Richard are both extremely close to levelling.
Suggestions :
Vee learns Brain Spider and Regenerate. Let's give her some intelligence-gathering abilities! She's already got mobility, healing, defenses, blasting and summoning. And Regenerate is there to round out her "healer" package - although it could be replaced by Discern Location, to further improve her intel-gathering capabilities.
Malarys gets a new ability from his PrC, boosting his Divination. Not too useful, but very flavorful. He gets his usual pile of skill points (surprising from a Cleric PrC, but very welcome), and a few more spell prepared.
level 4 spell : Discern Lies
level 6 spell : Find the Path
level 9 spells : Foresight (D), Miracle, Mass Heal
Nettles should Enter Abjurant Champion, and learn Greater Dispel Magic.
Manticore-Class Anti-Gravity Fighter-Bomber
The body of this craft is elongated and vaguely dagger-like with a length of 30 feet (9m), a width of 16 feet (5m) and a height of 8 feet (2.5m). The cockpit sits on the top of the vessel, about one-third of the length from the back. It furthermore has two more quartz cupolas in the front and back, each housing a turret. Unlike the Wyvern, this craft has no wings and instead uses a steam powered gyroscope system to stabilize itself, which also allows it to hover with nigh perfect stability and even lets it operate at ground level.
A Manticore is heavily armed, having two Launchers with Magazines of Holding in both the front and the back cupola and with two Steam Cannons as it's main armaments. Like the gyro stabilizer, these cannons draw water and heat from an integrated water supply system and an Everflame Boiler. To operate, the craft requires a crew of five people. The pilot, two gunners for the turrets and two loaders / engineers who operate the Steam Cannons. Lastly, the craft is equipped with multiple bomb bays and an internal Beetle Bomb rack.

So we are building 1/3 of the Dauntless, upgrading the Type-A's with Ghost Ward and build 5 Manticores?
Or did you also add in the 12 Type-B's I was talking about earlier?
[X] A different perspective (Interlude)
-[X] Styr and Sigorn consider the fate of their people and the battle they just witnessed
--[X] Settle them on the major island east of Sorcerers Deep that is connected by the Imperial Highway to SD and the mainland. Give them some room from other settlements and ample farmland and forests. The construction crews will be under Styrs command and will try their best to build a village for them that is to their liking.
-[X] Nettles looks for a likely place to settle --[X] Remind her of the sheep covered islands in the northern Stepstones if she is interested in some quiet time away from SD.

What about Nettles, everyone? She is fully qualified to enter Abjurant Champion, which is a famously amazing Gish PrC. Furthermore, its bonuses fully apply to Scintillating Scales (and also Shield if she wants to stack them), which is amazing for her mount. That PrC Extends all her Aburation spells for free at level one, and add her class level to all AC bonuses from Abjuration spells she casts. Next level she'll be able to Quicken them for free, too!
IMO she should enter Abjurant Champion, and learn Greater Dispel Magic.

I want Vee to learn Greater Angelic Aspect this level up. Y'all wanted her to learn Dimensional Lock last time, and I went along with it with the assumption she could learn this one at 17th level. Brain Spider for her new 7th level spell is a good one, IMO.
Malarys doesn't need to prepare Discern Lies, since he has it as a 3/Day SLA. He could prepare a Divine Power, Greater Shield of Fortification, Mass Shield of Faith, or something offensive, like another Forceful Strike or Sound Lance. Lots to choose from.

That sounds perfect for Nettles and Sheepstealer. Her being able to share her spells with Sheepstealer is already great, especially with Scintillating Scales, but it's even better with Abjurant Champion levels boosting their effectiveness.
