Is visiting a Free (read - Minor) action, or will the auction require a more serious investment of time?

It's a full action because it can turn very complicated very fast.

You guys could treat it as a minor action or a full one depending on how you count the risks.

Ya made DP reverse his decision! :o

I've seen his post a few seconds ago!
Ya'r evul!

Not quite that evul. :V

@Crake, frankly, I'm not all that interested in visiting.
If we do, I certainly have no desire to stir shit up for... books of all the things.
And the sort of people that'll be here, oh boy, will they be stirred.

So, I say, go there as MA, grab all the books we can grab without getting entangled in a shitshow (via our decent socials) or grabbing any that will cause people to gun for us (I dunno, some book of exceeding rarity might do that), and then go back to fucking around with Reach Fey and Fey Courts in general.
Sounds good?

Before we go home I'd definitely like to visit the slave markets again. They have an excellent selection of Outsiders on sale.

Still updating the sheets as I can... our air force is expanding decently fast.

Basically haggle an introduction from him too, in exchange for who we are.
There's no real way to tell what the fuck his deal is before we've told all of note. What we're doing is telling him something valuable about us, and expecting more of the same in return, until we're both reasonably sure of who we're dealing with, as far as we can be at any rate.

So we are actually dealing. Were just haggling first?

edit: ok

  • [X] "A measure of trust begets trust in turn. Tell me, Ishmagnis, what do you who's taken refuge under the skies of broken Heaven know of the Plane of Balance, to whom so many vie like a pack of jackals expecting ripe flesh only to come away again with bleeding lips and torn jowls?" Tit for tat. What he shares with us will be met with more until we are sure that we can work together in mutual self interest.

@DragonParadox, how's the Adamantine Golem going? What's his progress on monk-studies?
Will it do good for him/will he be interested in visiting GIth at this point?
Will Gith be interested in teaching him some basic stuff about monking?

Basically, the guy has nothing to do in the current turn-plan (aside maybe from clearing out barrows, and I dare to think he's mite bit too big for those too), so we might as well send him on a study trip.

on that topic
@DragonParadox what are the warforged we made doing right now?
They are mostly just being ordinary citizens. We've only made a handful as a test batch, nothing in significant enough numbers to matter.

Remember, warforged have a slight Level Adjustment and some special rules, but they're not like regular constructs. They're just more likely to have better Class levels as artificial beings of magic.

Edit: Actually, I think they have no level adjustment, meaning they're even less extraordinary in the grand scheme of things, beyond fluff.

They start off as Fighter 1, but they can retrain depending on what they want to do.
