@DragonParadox In context and put one way, the Court of Stars is the greatest existential threat on our table right now after we slapped Tiamat down a few notches on our priority scale, with only the Deep Ones acting as contenders.

I'd definitely rate the Illithid way above the Fey in general danger, but it's the Fey who want to build their own little whimsical Eye of Terror right now.

And I would very much prefer to have the Reach remain part of objective reality.

I get it, I was just surprised when I thought you guys were jumping right to war, that was on me for misinterpreting the vote.

@Azel @Crake, one strategy to employ is to go around securing the fealty of every other fey court in the continent before confronting the Court of Stars. There were a few friendly to the Old Gods (like the one in the Riverlands). Granted, this would have to be paired with other actions. It's merely securing an extra bargaining chip on our end.

-[X] Inform Softstrider, Glyra, Moonsong, Bloodraven, Zherys, Lya, Vee, the Orphne Lord, Melisandre, Hermetia, Shara Rogare and Yss of your findings. You need them or representatives of them for a war council at dawn to discuss measures to combat the CoS influence on the Reach.
@DragonParadox, my reasoning for the attendants:
Lya - The Archmage. Enough said.
Vee - Long history of working in the Fungus Forge and knowledgeable about nature. Should come in handy.
Softstrider, Glyra, Moonsong, Orphne Lord - They are Fey and they are all loyal, so they should help a lot to get the perspective of our enemies.
Bloodraven - Representative of the Old Gods and I'd wager he is equally happy about the news as Viserys. Which is, not even the slightest bit.
Melisandre - Representative of Burny and a far traveled mage with tons of knowledge. Especially her shadow magic experience might prove helpful.
Yss - Because we might need some high-powered divinations and if this whole endeavour turns bloody, we will probably lean on him to unmake quite a few Fey.
Hermetia, Shara Rogare - Have interacted with the Fey in Lys for a good while by now, so they can add some helpful perspective.
Zherys - Has done a lot of research about the Fey of the Rhoyne and Ymery, so he is bound to have something useful to add.

If anyone else comes to mind who could help, give me a shout everyone.

I have a bigger question -- why is the Court of Stars coming to Prime Material in the first place? Is it purely to gear up against the Others and the Court of Winter, or are they fleeing from the Feywild? If the Winter Fey are just as bad there as they are here, is the Court of Stars losing the war in their home plane?

@Azel, Zathir for the same reasons as Yss. Also I highly doubt he'd be thrilled about mass enslavement, much less locking a kingdom's worth of people into perpetual serfdom with no chance to rise on their own merits.

Lady Alysande Redsail, current leader of the Silver Eye, and the Sealord of Braavos, both for their expertise in dealing with the Fey from a mortal perspective.

Should we invite Oberyn as well, on account of him having fornicated with a not insignificant number of Fey currently active on Planetos?

Jokes aside, it seems like we're missing someone from the list.

What about Rhaella? Not Viserys' mom, but the Dryad bonded to the Queen Rhaella.

We definitely want Rhaella the ship-dryad. I don't think Oberyn has all that much to add here, honestly, compared to the others.

Added.

Added both the Dryad and Oberyn, since he does have a Fey vassal and should know a bit.
You would have to move the ship too. She would not be comfortable half a world away from her bonded 'tree'.
It's not as if Viserys doesn't lift...

@Azel, do we trust the Ferryman enough with this? One of his daughters could be of use as a rep here, they have experience dealing with Fey, albeit the water-y ones.

@DragonParadox, I'm getting mixed stuff here from the comments, did we, or did we not, sacrifice the abominable Fey we caught in Lys' markets the last month?
The one we Ambered and gave Orphne slight PTSD with?

If we can call on her we could get a decent enough perspective. The Merling King commands all the fey courts of the waters, IIRC.

The Nameless himself was sacrificed to Yss.
