His Ride skill is high enough to control a warhorse with no special preparations, and Heroism could give him Mounted Combat (not that it should be needed for a joust, unless someone tries to re-enact the Tourney of Ashford Meadow from ninety years ago and specifically aims for his mount dishonorably).

He easily outclasses most mundane knights, even without those mounted combat feats. His gear is only glammered, not removed, and at the end of the day these guys are unknowingly up against the King's Champion and his two Mythic Ranks. I hope the Fey Knight participates out of curiosity, that's probably going to be Ser Richard's biggest challenge.

Would that even help them though? Richard could probably skip the horse and charge them on foot and do better than he would mounted.

I'm fairly certain that this version of Ser Richard would still be faster than any of the other knights on horseback. Ordinary horses have nothing on our sworn sword.

Edit: In fact, since Ser Richard has pounce, he could literally run up to the other person in the joust, and make a full attack with the lance at the rider. With avalanche of blades, he could probably hit some of these knights 7 or 8 times a single go.

That would be just cartoonish in effect, and I'm pretty sure it would blow the crowd's minds.

Can easily see the Fossoway girl looking for Buttercup after this. Maybe she'll ask about our adventures with the party.
 
Actually, could we add a glamor that makes Richard appear to be riding a horse while he enters the competition foot? Assuming we don't have him change out of all his enchanted gear, it's not like our cover would be any less blown if he gets found out.
 
@Goldfish Did you see my earlier post about level-ups for Bronn and Sarell? Plus pre-melee buffing.

There's never not a good time for buffing plans. :evil:

Glamours don't work like that, it only changes what is physically apparent, not make people believe something that isn't there nor make them any more tangible.

Plan updated with melee buffs for Viserys, plus a level up plan for Bronn. DP doesn't like it when we vote for more than one level up at a time, so Sarell can wait until next time.

[X] Wait for the inevitable confrontation and then on to the melee
-[X] When it comes time to participate in the melee, in addition to his normal buffs (at least those which aren't visually recognizable) Viserys will duplicate a Moment of Prescience spell on himself using Wild Arcana (22nd caster level) and a Blood Wished Mighty Strength, plus Moment of Greatness and Heroics (Weapon Focus - Longsword) using his Grimoire. He will place a Blood Wished Greater Magic Weapon spell on Dark Sister as well as use his Grimoire to cast Spellsword on the sword so that he can store his Greater Metamagic Rod of Quickening in her. He'll also use his Blessing of Fervor spell from Dany's Persistomancy to gain a +2 attack and Dodge bonus and he will use his scabbard to apply the Keen Edge effect to Dark Sister.
--[X] Viserys' modified melee attack bonus will be: +34/+34/+29/+24/+19 (1d10+10/17-20 x2). He can use Moment of Greatness to increase a single attack by +3 and Moment of Prescience to apply a +22 bonus to a single attack or other check, such as increasing his AC to avoid a melee strike.

Do we want to trounce Fossoway and make him look completely foolish, all while handily dealing with opponents in the melee if they try gaining up on us?

The answer is always yes, by the way, to any question that includes "do we need all this cheese?"

So, what your saying is that Richard really would have to put on the horse costume so we could put a separate glamor on top of it. Height could be an issue, I suppose. I guess Richard will have to enter the joust claiming to ride a pony. :V

It's funny that even after all of that buffing to bring Viserys' melee attack bonus, it's still lower than Richard's resting bonus without Persistomancy or spell buffs.
