Sorry, mate, you have to work for that
... like I do every turn?
Here's an edited version of the chapter, DP.Court and Calling
Twenty First Day of the Twelfth Month 293 AC
"If you desire a place to slip away to in secret, then I would recommend my realm, and present circumstances at the moment to do so," you offer to lady Fowler. "The best lies, after all, are leavened with some measure of truth. Claim that the same party that attacked Lord Dayne was also responsible for your kidnapping. Thus you could both seek refuge in the same sanctuary."
"So he could play the gallant knight 'helping me heal'," Jeyne snorts, shifting in her seat, though from genuine disdain or the need to keep her distance for her sister's sake, you cannot say for certain. You make a note to have Tyene explain the nature of your laws on the matter and the reasons behind them. That is not among your first conversations under your own name you want to have with Andrew Dayne.
"Strange that you should look upon my suit with such displeasure now when you did not in the past," the knight says stiffly. You suspect that were the Prince of Dorne would be rolling his eyes at the tone were he not a consummate diplomat. Tyene, not burdened by the weight of a crown, does so without hesitation.
"Stranger still that you should call it such, as I do not recall any talk of marriage passing your lips then," she replies after a moment. "If you wish to court me, then His Grace's generosity offers you the chance."
The look of sheer bemusement on Lord Dayne's face is almost enough to be worth allowing the conversation to continue, but alas you have more important matters to attend to. "I would also offer what aid and insight I can provide into ensuring the child's safety in body and soul after the possession."
That silences both of them instantly. "It could have harmed him?" Ser Andrew asks, only a moment before Lady Fowler does.
It could be an unliving Winter-spawn bred to sow ruin and destruction, you think, recalling another troubled pregnancy you had been able to lighten years ago and what might have been made of it had you not acted. You do not share the tale aloud, merely nodding.

Lya, Vee, Softstrider, and Qyburn make for an odd quartet. On the one hand, there is the sorceress weaving lines of light and fire through the air as she seeks a measure of the unborn soul, and the girl conferring with her belt, animate and slithering like the serpent it honors. On the other stands the child of the forest, drawn from the stuff of fireside tales and sailor's tales, listening for songs only she can hear, and the former Maester in his pale robes, the faintly musty odor of the Forge clinging to him.
"There is nothing beyond the norm in your physical form, nor in that of the unborn as far as he can be perceived," the flesh-smith says, disappointed, though at least trying to hide it.
"It's a son then?" Prince Doran had accepted having his private audience chamber taken over by mages with surprising equanimity, but he did sound perturbed by this news. The reason is not hard to guess at. If the child had been a girl then she would have been far farther from the Dayne line of succession than the Fowler one, as the lords of Starfall had kept more to Andal customs of inheritance than most other Dornish Houses.
"Yes, yes," the flesh-smith wages the matter away. "Likely to be born healthy and weigh a stone even then."
Lya meanwhile had been looking at her instruments with an ever-deepening frown. "The child's soul doesn't seem to be entirely anchored to his body," she pauses a moment looking at you. "Yes, that is definitely the soul of an unborn, not our 'friend' returned to trouble us, but the fact remains that souls are not supposed to be so venturesome so young."
"So just ask the Old Gods to fix it," Vee shrugs. "It won't even cost you a lot of blood since they'd be working against their old enemies."
"You want her to hang people by their entrails to call down a blessing on a child, on our child?" Lord Dayne asks, horrified.
"I guess she could ask Yss too, he likes to swallow sacrifices so there's less of a mess," Vee replied after a moment's thought.
What do you do about the child's odd condition.
[] Ask for a blessing of the Old Gods to right things
[] Ask for a blessing of Ysss to right things
[] Pledge to resolve the matter yourself

OOC: I hope this isn't dragging. There's just a lot of interpersonal stuff to handle before we get to the politics. Not yet edited.
Haha, Vee, I don't think you're helping Dayne's composure very much."I guess she could ask Yss too, he likes to swallow sacrifices so there's less of a mess," Vee replied after a moment's thought.
I believe any vote called the Crake of doom, should involve someone actually being doomed, voting to sacrifice magic items instead of people, isn't really doomy enough to deserve the title.
We'll keep checking it every so often and have Doran's mages lock down the area and cleanse it with fire. After the invasion we can use it as the site for Sunspear's first Tier 3 Heart Tree. Savvy?[X] Crake
I love it. Speaking of loving it, should we also grow a tree in the graveyard? I am not super comfortable with leaving that be considering the undead taint that is there.
How many motherfuckers do I have to push into a Volcano?I believe any vote called the Crake of doom, should involve someone actually being doomed, voting to sacrifice magic items instead of people, isn't really doomy enough to deserve the title.

Remind me to introduce that to a vote at some point before we finish in Dorne. We still got a handful of things to do and people to talk to.Yeah, I can accept that. I just don't want to let that thing come back to bite us.
Will do.Remind me to introduce that to a vote at some point before we finish in Dorne. We still got a handful of things to do and people to talk to.
We should do something to consecrate the place, but growing a tree also creates an obligation to defend it and the graveyard is isolated and accessible to our enemies. A successful spite shot of that nature would be unfortunate.[X] Crake

We can Hallow the place after cleansing it with fire, but otherwise it's just going to have to keep. If it so much as twitches between now and when we can act more openly, we'll go over with a Valyrian Steel toothed comb until we squeeze every bit of taint out.We should do something to consecrate the place, but growing a tree also creates an obligation to defend it and the graveyard is isolated and accessible to our enemies. perhaps some plant creatures would work instead?
Just one, but you need to do it in the vote you want to call the vote of doom. How many motherfuckers do I have to push into a Volcano?
I'll push them all down there. I don't give a fuck! I'm a madlad!
Cleansing via fire is actually a really good option. A Shadow of the Doom or two might do the trick. We can Hallow the place after cleansing it with fire, but otherwise it's just going to have to keep. If it so much as twitches between now and when we can act more openly, we'll go over with a Valyrian Steel toothed comb until we squeeze every bit of taint out.
I much prefer letting Crake's plan of letting Doran's mages check on it and then planting one after we are done cleaning Westeros up.
Fair enough, I suppose it isn't that important of a location. I was just hesitant about leaving a tree somewhere relatively out of the way of our regular forces. It's too bad, there are some really nasty plant creatures we could play with for stuff like this.We can Hallow the place after cleansing it with fire, but otherwise it's just going to have to keep. A Moldwretch with Russet mold, Mindslaver mold, or Violet fungus would be a fun surprise for any follow up agents, and the fact that OG spirits pilot our plant creatures reduces the risk of using mind control minions.
All three of those are terrifying, especially the Vegepygmy Chestburster option.Fair enough, I suppose it isn't that important of a location. There are a surprising number of mind control plants out there. Griefgalls would be better than mindslaver mold if we're making stand alone creatures though. They spread less easily, but the victim is flat out denied saves against its dominate person and things like PfE don't effect it.You need to mention these when we discuss monster making. Cause holy fuck there are absolutely amazing. I can see the potential use of the Mindslaver Mold
Thankfully, as with all things, there are spells for that.A 14 lb child? That's a small/medium sized turkey. Poor Lady Fowler.
