Here's a proposed level up for Glyra for us to maybe vote on tomorrow. She gains access to 3rd level spells with this level up. She'll never be a spellcasting powerhouse on her own, not without someone to lend her spells, but there are several spells she can learn which would be really useful for her.

The Instant Portrait + Enter Image combo is really neat, plus it's something I can easily see Glyra using to great effect.

[] Glyra Level Up
-[] Class: +1 Spellthief
-[] Feat: Expanded Arcana (Glitterdust, Knock)
-[] Skills (5 points): +1 Hide, +1 Move Silently, +1 Use Magic Device, +2 Bluff
-[] Spells:
--[] 1st Level: Expeditious Retreat >>> Grease, Hoard Gullet >>> Instant Portrait
--[] 2nd Level: Glitterdust, Knock
--[] 3rd Level: Enter Image, Stinking Cloud

Using Yss like a battery is very weird. Also, fundamentally the same as my plan, just that we make actual progress towards the Pseudo-Deity with mine.
The difference is that infusing Valyrian god energy into Valyrian steel, is likely to result in something that the 15th can mirror, that's kind of his whole deal, he mirror everything Valyrian, so infusing Meraxes power into Valyrian steel, probably don't weaken him back into slumber, whereas giving it to Yss for safekeeping, turn it into snake energy, and the 15th have no power to mirror Yss.
If VS is sufficiently connected to be a problem, we're already screwed. As for what I'm proposing, it's an entirely new material based on VS. Originally it was supposed to be called Imperial Steel and the result of a bunch if research. Old plans from back when.
Normal Valyrian steel is probably connected enough, that the 15th get some trivial measure of power from it, but this wouldn't be normal Valyrian steel, this would be Valyrian steel blessed by a Valyrian god, that's likely to make it more not less connected to the 15th, than normal Valyrian steel is.

But apparently it's not the problem I feared it would be, guess I'm just too paranoid about the 15th.

The vote is now 11-10, this is hilariously close for something that is really not that important.
(I don't mean to imply that either choice is not important, just that we're going to do both soon anyway.)

@Goldfish, so on the matter of metamagic rod commission, the break up is thus, by caster level required
  1. CL 15-20: Up to a maximum crafting price of 9000 IM
  2. CL 11-14: Up to a maximum crafting price of 27000 IM
  3. CL 1-10: Unlimited

Since Metamagic rods don't really use caster levels quite like that, would it be safe to assume the breakdown is more like this?
  1. Greater (up to 9th level spells): Up to a maximum crafting price of 9000 IM
  2. Standard (up to 6th level spells): Up to a maximum crafting price of 27000 IM
  3. Lesser Rod (up to 3rd level spells): Unlimited

Preliminary Metamagic Rod purchase plan. What do ya'll think?

There's still some wiggle room left over in the standard rod price range, and we can of course change this if necessary. Gotta get ready to head to work now, though.
