He certainly has a Belt of Batte or similar items.Connington is quite a bit more annoying than I realized. Maybe someone should kill him before he somehow randomly heals.
Worse: Dragonbeasts have excellent Fort and shit Will.Have the Mind Dragon currently present teleport away using a charm, then keep the Dragon with Team Yss back to help Malarys and company?
Two Dragonbeasts would be a pain in the ass to deal with. They're utter monsters and have decent saves (I think?)
Yeah, someone should probably kill Ashara before she ends up dispelled. I have a sinking suspicion that Tiamat clerics are going to be empowered in the Avatar's presence. He certainly has a Belt of Batte or similar items.
I know we have moved on from that spell, mostly, but right now I think a classic Searing Agonizing Firebrand would be good.
Certain hits on Connington and Aegon, at least a bit of damage and a chance to make it shaken for the Avatar and we can clean up some of the remaining priests.
Edit: Maybe hit Ashara too, before someone dispels her.
Safe bet.Yeah, someone should probably kill Ashara before she ends up dispelled. I have a sinking suspicion that Tiamat clerics are going to be empowered in the Avatar's presence.
damn us for being good at our jobs (well not me i wasn't there to make them but you get the point)
when we have her or aegon pinned . the worm is there to pin the avatar if possible so we can do it the other option is capturing aegon and then doing it with his unconcious bodySo when do we deploy the thing that is suppose to suck power from Tiamat?
Okay, Viserys doesn't need Verbal components for his spells since they are automatically Silenced and he can Still two spells per day using his bracers. Or just cast Stilled versions of spells using the Still Spell feat which he knows.
The impeded vision is annoying, though. Is there some reason that couldn't be handled with a Heal spell, @DragonParadox?
Keep in mind they entered the deal under the idea of saving a soul.Zathir, LoSM and Lady of Lys are just too merciful/kind to outright burn F!Aegon's soul as fuel to attack Timmie.
Damn it, I didn't realize we were locked in like this.Keep in mind they entered the deal under the idea of saving a soul.
If we don't even try to free Aegon and instead go for the Avatar our of that exact calculus it's pretty close to cheating.
And we usually don't cheat allies?
Erm, no?Keep in mind they entered the deal under the idea of saving a soul.
Okay, it's a relief that we won't need to split our focus like this. We can deal with f!Aegon after.Erm, no?
There were several direct statements that they'll "be sad" if we don't manage to save F!Aegon, but each time they concluded that attacking and driving off Timmie is more important.
I clearly remember at least 2 of them stating that, albeit not... which said what exactly. :/
I'm just not really interested in tempting them with trying to save F!Aegon while we may just get her Avatar as a focus instead.
I updated the plan to have the Mind Dragon do it once it Dimension Doors itself, the Seeker, and Turtle-Ashara out of the area. We don't have actions to spare for dealing with her and everything else that's happening.@Goldfish, we should just kill Ashara while we have the chance. I'm fairly sure if we don't, Ashara will end up dispelled and restored to human form, and then we'd be facing two empowered Tiamat clerics in the presence of their goddess.
Better than nothing, Tiamat can be mean though:-[X] Dany prepares to defend herself and the others from the Avatar as needed, Dreamcasting whatever barrier spell is necessary, up to a Prismatic Wall, while using Divine Defiance as an Immediate Action and Battlemagic Perception as a Free Action to Counterspell to the best of her ability. She use Turning attempt to counter attempts made to Command Dragons, if necessary.
From Unholy Ravager, Tiamat says "Fuck you, your defences, your saving throws, your everything".: At 7th level, an unholy ravager of Tiamat can unleash a narrow blast of raw profane energy from its mouth three times per day. The blast is a ray, requiring a ranged touch attack, with a range of 400 feet + 40 feet per class level. The blast looks and feels like energy of the same type as the dragon's breath weapon. If it hits a target, it deals the same number of dice worth of damage as the dragon's breath weapon, but uses d12s. (So, a great wyrm blue dragon would deal 24d12 points of damage with its profane blast.) The damage it deals results directly from divine power and is therefore not subject to being reduced by protection from energy and similar magic. Each use of this ability counts as a use of the dragon's breath weapon, so it cannot use its breath weapon for 1d4 rounds after issuing a profane blast. An unholy ravager can target a creature behind a wall of force, prismatic wall, or prismatic sphere with its profane blast. The dragon makes a special dispel check, rolling 1d20 + its age category + its class level against a DC of 11 + the effect's caster level. If this check is successful, the effect is instantly negated (all layers in a prismatic effect are destroyed) and the ray goes on to strike the intended target (if the ranged touch attack roll is successful). A profane blast is stopped normally by a sacred warder of Bahamut's sacred shield.
