i agree get all dragons that aren't us and dany away from the avatar and dealing with mages, large clusters of golden company or helping other teams

Viserys, while blinded and being lorded over by Tiamat: "This feels oddly nostalgic."

Dany: "Not the time, Viserys!"

Viserys: "No really, here I am blinded... Grandma is over there... you're about to do something utterly outrageous."

Aegon: "Are... are you ignoring me?!"

Viserys: "I'll deal with you in a minute."

Lya, weaving some crazy spell: "Boys. Play nice. I'm trying to concentrate."

Connington is quite a bit more annoying than I realized. Maybe someone should kill him before he somehow randomly heals.
He certainly has a Belt of Batte or similar items.

I know we have moved on from that spell, mostly, but right now I think a classic Searing Agonizing Firebrand would be good.
Certain hits on Connington and Aegon, at least a bit of damage and a chance to make it shaken for the Avatar and we can clean up some of the remaining priests.

Edit: Maybe hit Ashara too, before someone dispels her.

Have the Mind Dragon currently present teleport away using a charm, then keep the Dragon with Team Yss back to help Malarys and company?

Two Dragonbeasts would be a pain in the ass to deal with. They're utter monsters and have decent saves (I think?)
Worse: Dragonbeasts have excellent Fort and shit Will.

Yeah, someone should probably kill Ashara before she ends up dispelled. I have a sinking suspicion that Tiamat clerics are going to be empowered in the Avatar's presence.

Okay, Viserys doesn't need Verbal components for his spells since they are automatically Silenced and he can Still two spells per day using his bracers. Or just cast Stilled versions of spells using the Still Spell feat which he knows.

The impeded vision is annoying, though. Is there some reason that couldn't be handled with a Heal spell, @DragonParadox?

It literally cuts off the victims' souls from their senses. Lya could probably reattach everything given a minute or so to work in peace but otherwise you are going to have to wait out the duration.

Tiamat is kinda preferable to F!Aegon as a target for WoE efficiency-wise, since 3(!) of our Gods won't be trying to keep the body/mind/soul intact, unlike with F!Aegon as recipient.

Zathir, LoSM and Lady of Lys are just too merciful/kind to outright burn F!Aegon's soul as fuel to attack Timmie.
Regretful, that. :/

Keep in mind they entered the deal under the idea of saving a soul.
If we don't even try to free Aegon and instead go for the Avatar our of that exact calculus it's pretty close to cheating.
And we usually don't cheat allies?

Damn it, I didn't realize we were locked in like this.

If we have to save him we can spend the Unraveling on him. Tiamat is definitely the better target for the ritual.

Having just reread the Syrax segments, I'd like to remind everyone that we were told our Mythic power would be needed to fight Tiamat. Without it, it's apparently impossible to really stand up to a God.
I strongly suspect that despite the Worm and our God-blessed magic item, everything may fail if we don't have a few Mythic power uses to spend at a crucial moment.

Erm, no?

There were several direct statements that they'll "be sad" if we don't manage to save F!Aegon, but each time they concluded that attacking and driving off Timmie is more important.
I clearly remember at least 2 of them stating that, albeit not... which said what exactly. :/

I'm just not really interested in tempting them with trying to save F!Aegon while we may just get her Avatar as a focus instead.

Okay, it's a relief that we won't need to split our focus like this. We can deal with f!Aegon after.

Preliminary plan. What should I change? Please help!

[X] "How are them Targaryen siblings gonna get out of this one?"
-[X] Summon the Worm against Tiamat's avatar while Nirah, the Champion of Yss keeps it occupied for a few moments.
-[X] The rest of Team Yss, along with the Mind Dragon that has accompanied Team Viserys and Balerion, will retreat as quickly as possible, Dimension Dooring in the Mind Dragon's case (taking the incapacitated Ashara and Seeker with it). They will link up with the Team Vee or Team Malarys to help them against other Golden Company threats while staying well clear of the Avatar. Once it reaches one of the other groups, the Mind Dragon kills Ashara then gathers up her remains for later disposal.
-[X] The Wyverns and Moonchaser will immediately begin targeting the Avatar of Tiamat with Beetle Bombs, and the Moonchaser will focus fire her steam cannons on it.
-[X] Sandor finishes off Connington with a coup de grace.
-[X] Teana targets the Flesh Smith with a Baleful Shadow Transformation (DC 32 Fortitude save). She uses her Ring of Spell-Battle to Counterspell or Alter Fortune to assist her spell or help her allies, if necessary.
-[X] Richard expends one use of Mythic Power to use Fleet Charge to engage with Aegon, going for maximum speed and lethality.
-[X] Lya targets the Flesh Smith with an Amber Sarcophagus spell. She uses her Ring of Spell-Battle to Counterspell or Alter Fortune to assist her spell or help her allies, if necessary.
-[X] Dany prepares to defend herself and the others from the Avatar as needed, Dreamcasting whatever barrier spell is necessary, up to a Wall of Mithral, while using Divine Defiance as an Immediate Action and Battlemagic Perception as a Free Action to Counterspell to the best of her ability. She use Turning attempt to counter attempts made to Command Dragons, if necessary.
-[X] Viserys casts True Casting as a Swift Action, then casts a Maximized Agonizing Shadow of the Doom (DC 33 Fortitude save to take 210 Searing Fire damage rather than be Petrified, caster level 32 to overcome SR, rolls twice and takes highest result to beat SR) spell aimed to blanket the entire area around his group, the Cleric's of Tiamat, and her Avatar. He excludes his allies from the effect.

@Goldfish, we should just kill Ashara while we have the chance. I'm fairly sure if we don't, Ashara will end up dispelled and restored to human form, and then we'd be facing two empowered Tiamat clerics in the presence of their goddess.

I updated the plan to have the Mind Dragon do it once it Dimension Doors itself, the Seeker, and Turtle-Ashara out of the area. We don't have actions to spare for dealing with her and everything else that's happening.

Better than nothing, Tiamat can be mean though:

: At 7th level, an unholy ravager of Tiamat can unleash a narrow blast of raw profane energy from its mouth three times per day. The blast is a ray, requiring a ranged touch attack, with a range of 400 feet + 40 feet per class level. The blast looks and feels like energy of the same type as the dragon's breath weapon. If it hits a target, it deals the same number of dice worth of damage as the dragon's breath weapon, but uses d12s. (So, a great wyrm blue dragon would deal 24d12 points of damage with its profane blast.) The damage it deals results directly from divine power and is therefore not subject to being reduced by protection from energy and similar magic. Each use of this ability counts as a use of the dragon's breath weapon, so it cannot use its breath weapon for 1d4 rounds after issuing a profane blast. An unholy ravager can target a creature behind a wall of force, prismatic wall, or prismatic sphere with its profane blast. The dragon makes a special dispel check, rolling 1d20 + its age category + its class level against a DC of 11 + the effect's caster level. If this check is successful, the effect is instantly negated (all layers in a prismatic effect are destroyed) and the ray goes on to strike the intended target (if the ranged touch attack roll is successful). A profane blast is stopped normally by a sacred warder of Bahamut's sacred shield.
From Unholy Ravager, Tiamat says "Fuck you, your defences, your saving throws, your everything".
Does Dany have any way to make an emergency-dodge, an immediate-action-teleport?
Because if so, that might be better than trying to defend against an unstoppable force.
