[X] Determine which area to focus on once we have fought our way into the fortress and defeated the Rat King.
They have a backdoor, one Anu, S!Tor and Mel opened the last month.
the Rat King is largely inconsequential.

I'm not sure whether Illyrio or clerics are of more priority.
Clerics if we grab F!Aegon successfully (not a given), as Illyrio is largely harmless from there.
Illyrio if F!Aegon manages to flee to the Fotress (Illyrio and F!Aegon escaping is catastrophic).

EDIT: DP'd

I forgot that we were able to bypass the Rat King. That's super helpful.

So where do we want to hit first? I think we should take out the barracks or Halls of the Dead first.

I think we should hit the Temple, since it's the hardest encounter and benefits most from preparation time (priests, dragons) and then the Dead.

Good point. Not only should it be the most difficult, but potentially the most destructive, too. Who knows what shape the fortress could be in when we're done in the temple?

Better to hit it now while everyone is fresh, buffs are still running, and none of our Undead fodder have been depleted.

[X] Move to assault the Temple of Tiamat.

GC is kinda bullshit in how many high-grade assets they have.
I mean, so are we, and so is every other faction worth noting... but still :/

They've got the power of adventuring loot to profit off of. Unlike us they haven't been sinking their wealth and resources into empire building, just right back into gear and minions.

Which wasn't the best route for them to take, it seems.

We now have a military several hundred thousand strong, a crafting budget pushing a million IM per month, and we own most of Western Essos while outright controlling ocean going trade in the Narrow Sea. Meanwhile, they have less than 20,000 people under arms and their strongest assets are 23 Drake's which need to eat loot (magic items or mages) to survive. Tiamat is such a shitty boss.

Of course, the life of an itenerant murderhobo would have been fun, too.

Oh, absolutely. This is not going to end well for them.

Fingers crossed for as few of them as possible managing to escape, though. It'd be miserable to have to hunt them through the Shadow Plane.

Hmh.
I just really hope our peeps there manage to bag Illyrio while they are at it.

Objectively, the old fuck is not a danger, in any sense of the word at this point, and shouldn't be prioritised - but damn it, wouldn't it feel cathartic to throw him to Yss, having him and Varys share at least as much as their final moments...

But oh well.
Long as we bag F!Aegon (one way or another) Illyrio is really hot a priority.

...And if we fail to bag F!Aegon, shit is already tits-ups and on fire.

Clerics are far more important to gun down, no capture or anything, it doesn't even matter that Tim will get the investments back (said investments hopefully being drawn into the Well of Souls soon enough) - we just can't afford high-level followers remaining to scheme around.

...should I mention my envisioned use of the charged WoS as an ultimate Scrying foci for anything connected to Tiamat on PoB, be it cleric, item or a summon?
No, I'm annoying people with that being brought up again and again? Okay, not mentioning it, then.

g'night all.

several hundred thousand strong
Look at you overinflating numbers today. You get any sleep, buddy? :V

We have a military barely edging towards a couple hundred thousand, and not all of them are equally trained/fit for the active combat.

And really none of them are fit for combat against more than mook tier threats--though they absolutely shred through comparative mooks thanks to build and equipment.

...so they are the Imerial Guard, essentialy.
:V

OOC: I'm going to have multiple of these set-ups then run the battles back to back with you guys only being in charge of on the fly changes in attack, and only where Viserys is directly in charge

It's likely already come up but do you have people help you with all these dice rolls are about to hit us? I'd rather you not be over whelmed by the number of them to the point where you can hardly get anything done.

No, because the mooks of literally every other faction in 40K are qualitatively better than the Imperial Guard.

Their shtick is tanks, artie, and HUMAN WAVE TACTICS.

I was including people on our ships, garrisons, etc. Coulda swore that it was over 400,000 last time I checked.

Then again, my memory can't always be trusted.

There are bigger fishes on that plane.
If they loose and scatter most of them will propably end up as a Rakshasa's slave or a Kyton's next testsubject.
In that case, we might be able to buy them back through some of Elaheh's contacts, though they would probably be missing pieces, have extra pieces, or some combination of the two.
