and one to the Shadow Fortress attack group
Mwhahah.

Anu: "Oh shit, that's a n anti-tank rifle Wyrm Nightmare Dragon. Oh shit, that's a Wyrm Nightmare Dragon!".

Garin: "Pocket Sand!"

*poof*

*The Nightmare Dragon is eyeing a Necrocraken Garin pulled out of his pocket with bewilderment".

The Necrocraken: *Hungry seafood noises*

What would be better than an elephant getting eaten by a Necro-Kraken, IMO, would be three buffed up war elephants getting a good look at Team Havoc, reconsidering their life choices, then turning around and charging through the GC to get the hell away from the team.
0/10 No 20m long tentacles dragging an elephant into a tiny hole followed by a giant fountain of gore raising into the sky.

It's only a question of a sturdy funnel and enough pressure.
Yss, eyeing an elephant stacked in front of him: "I can take thisss".
(so basically this: )

Yss, after eating three elephants and the several hundred cultists we'll throw his way: "Halp"

[This is meme'ing about the funnels, dont take this too seriously]

Ooh, I just realized.

@Azel, the Necrocraken should have a voice modulation.

It just isn't complete otherwise.

:V

With that voice modification, this thing has become more and more Eldritch.

Like, way too many mandibles... and eyes... so much eyes to give you an i̷̦͔̩̮̝͍͖̝̺̝̹̘̇ͫ̾̓̓ͩ͗ͦ̔͛͂̉̀ͭ̉͠͠ͅN̶̷͕̰̲͍̠̱͈̣̥͇̬̹̺̪̜͖͈̎ͥͬ͌̍̑ͮͅs̵̖̟̲͇͇̘̫̥͔̮̘̪̻͔̤͇̄͂́̔̋ͫͦͨ͂̆̕͞͞ͅĩ̡̲̙̼̱̹̫̱̤̣͚̲̞̟̭̪͙̞ͮ͆̃ͮ̈̌͗̐̓ͭͦ̀̈́̂̌͜ͅG̎͐̔̍ͭ̅͢҉͕͔͔͕̻͉͙̙̺̘͇͈̺͔͙͓̰̱͟͝ͅḪ̶̷̶̛̫̬̘͎̣͔͔͈̺̜͍ͮͧ̆̔̽̉̊ͣ̎̍͘t̲͖̗̺̤̠̺͕̤̞̥̞͈͖̭̱̤̂̌͛̇̋͒̔̓̾̅̌̑ͭ̉̐̏̚͢͜ at how utterly terrifying this thing is.

I mean, think about it. It's a dead giant octopus covered with Blackened metals, empowered by magic, and wrestles Dragon like a Saturday Superhero. But that's not the most horrifying of them all...

It flies.

Let me give you a perspective. A fifteen-foot tall undead abomination that screeches reality to a halt upon existing FUCKIN' FLIES!!!!!

If I saw that shit in the middle of the road at midnight without no-one near, I'd be shitting my pants so fast you thought I was Deadpool.

Two corrections:
1. The default version can swim, but not fly. We were talking about making a version that can fly and not swim but didn't do so. There's enough spells to take care of that.

2. 15ft. / 4.5m is just the upper end of Large. The Black Knights are Large (though at the lower end). The Black Brutes are Huge, so roughly 24ft. / 7.2m.

The Necro-Kraken is Collossal, which is roundabout 100ft. / 30m in diameter when bunched up, with the tentacles extending out 60ft. / 18m from the body when it unfurls.

The sane numbers are appreciated an addition.

Of course there are spells for that sort of situation. This is D&D, what was I expecting...

... ... do you hear that? Ah, that's the sound of my sanity shattering. The horror of imagining THAT image.

... :wtf: You mean the correct numbers? That being metrics.

Sweet christ this is going to turn out like that 'Deep Ones attack the Braavosi navy' omake we got some while back - but this time, WE are the Deep Ones. With all the absolutely unbalanced unholy nightmare forces that entails.

Most of the people involved will be Mind Blanked. It will be hard to predict that kind of thing and time it right on their end.
Well, it depends on asking the right questions.

We are withdrawing enough non-Mindblanked people from SD that simply asking if SD's defence is currently weaker than it will be anytime in the next few months would already show the time to strike.

Actually, the only non-Mind Blanked people involved in this should be the Minotaurs and crews of the Wyverns and Moonchaser.

Admittedly, that does represent a significant amount of firepower, but it's only a fraction of what we can bring to bear.

The Erinyes, the Dragonbeasts and seadragon-plants, lots of Golems and Undead, the Nagas and the Heralds are all not Blanked, I think?
We are leaving behind quite a lot of aquatic forces though. I'm not overly worried. We hardly took any of the stuff we created to defend our territory from sea attackers.

Yeah, you're right. I was thinking named people. Between extra Mind Blank items, a Chained Mind Blank spell, and some spell scrolls, the best we can manage is to Mind Blank somewhere around 34 or 35 people who don't already have one.

That's enough for the Erinyes, Fiery Dragonbeasts, and a few others, but not quite enough for everyone.
