I'm already wondering what we can add to it to make it perfect.

@Goldfish, is there something Lya is lacking in her arsenal at the moment that could really be tied together by another Artifact? Alternatively a general improvement in her defenses wouldn't be bad. Or perhaps something that involves Souls? Or maybe her Lores, so a suite of abilities related to the Elements, the Axis and Alignments?
Lya is actually in a really good place, from both a defense and offense standpoint. There are more gear upgrades which can improve this somewhat, but for the most part she has the important stuff covered. There are some additional spells I want her to learn for the sake of versatility and emergency use, and we're working on that.

Her Advanced Tattoo Guardian is a significant help in securing her survivability. It can function perfectly well in an Antimagic Field, which mitigates the most glaring weakness of a merely mortal spellcaster.

We need to grow potatoes in the North. They are the perfect anti-famine vegetable. They will literally solve every problem in the North.

Starving peasants? People dying every winter? Grow potatoes, your population growth will skyrocket.

Rambunctious vassals and angry armed men? Distill it into alcohol. They will be too drunk to overthrow you. Hell, they might throw you a party.

Undead ice fey got you down? Take a launcher, quad mount it on your fortifications, and lob potatoes at them. Spudrockets are literally the only thing keeping the North alive.

George Washington Carver invented 300 uses for Peanuts. I think we can manage 100 for potatoes. It is the philosophers stone of the setting, more important than steam engines, gunpowder and canals.

We can make Westeros great again by growing potatoes.

Problem: Potatoes aren't popular among peasants. How do we resolve this issue?

Solution: Order a 'royal potato field' to be grown and set guards to patrol around it... laxly. To make it seem valuable, but easy pickings. Let them accept bribes and let peasants go if they catch them stealing the potatoes.

Source: Frederick the Great. Not that one.

If only there were potatoes in ASOIAF. :(

It's really weird. There's corn in ASOIAF, but no mention of potatoes.

Hopefully we can "discover" potatoes in Sothoryos. Along with coffee.

Nursery... "A bit early isn't it?" Dany asked in jest as the door slid open to reveal a child of perhaps three or four months past his first year unsteadily standing on the edge of his bed as he complained about some doubtlessly grave trespass against his dignity to the young woman who had the look of his mother.

She turned to greet them with the quick and gracious smile of one adept in complex courtesies, even surprising ones. "Rylesa Agreis," she bowed deep in spite of the princess' age, knowing who she was.

Is this an adoption or has it really been more than 2 years?

They came to an arrangement. It was a bit ambiguous what the nature of their relationship was, though. He was lonely. That's not his kid, though.

Edit: Well, not his kid in any genetic sense.

If nothing else, Gllden Company is a magnificent source of Mindblanks for all our purposes, it seems.

We'd have to check them for any lingering connection Tiamat may try to use long later (and purge them with Yss if there is).
...tbh, we probably should do that to all of the high-caliber loot we'll get.

But, ah, well be voting on the item-order in the 19th(?) of this month then, @Goldfish?
For Vialesk, OV, AK, and Gith alike at the same time?

Imma nap now.

  • [X] Plan Intel-gathering Mk II
-[X] While our Companions grab our newest prisoners and their gear, bloodwish a Remove Curse and have a Companion cast Panacea on the Shugenja. Leave him with a Sending Stone and Teleport Charm so that he can regroup with Pol Ning.
-[X] Return to Sorcerer's Deep, interrogate one of our newest prisoners in the Divination-proofed room of the Shadow Tower by incapacitating him, crushing his Will save with Greater Bestow Curse, and then using Brain Spider on him. Keep the Staff of Power and all of the twin mages' gear and other possessions in the room until it can be identified and cleared of Arcane Marks, Dragoneye Runes, curses, etc.
-[X] @Duesal, any question suggestions? Otherwise focus on the habits of their Mind Blanked people, the nature of their extraplanar backup and security precautions, and on how long they expect their capture to remain undiscovered (if at all).
-[X] After the interrogation, unless there are immediately pressing matters, Viserys will use the magic bedroll to recover his expended spell slots.

I've found Glyra's next birthday present, ya'll. Do Fey have birthdays? A question for the ages, I'm sure.

Anyway, she's been a good Gremlin and needs to be properly rewarded. I think a bag of these might be to her taste.

On the subject of Glyra she should get a Valyrian Steel Spiked Chain if she doesn't already have one.

@Goldfish, here are those interrogation questions.

-[] We want the full details of the current scheme they were involved in at Trader Town.
-[] Who/what were the priority targets?
-[] What contacts within Trader Town do they have?
-[] What assets within Trader Town do they have which are still hidden?
-[] What other schemes are active/inactive that they are aware of?
-[] Rinse and repeat the above for the rest of the world, get all info on the Golden Company's schemes that they know of. What are their goals, who helps them, who opposes them, etc?
-[] We want intel on the Shadow Fortress, what guardians are currently in there, etc.
-[] We want intel on the Dragons that Tiamat has lurking in the shadows -- how many are they aware of, how powerful are they?
-[] We want intel on any "special surprises" that F!Aegon has for us (like reserved summons, traps for high level casters, bombs, etc).
-[] We want intel on the various places that casters might flee to among the Golden Company if the main camp and the Shadow Fortress are compromised.
-[] We want intel on the Shadow Plane, their friends and enemies, who they buy their equipment from, etc.

Thanks, dude. Plan updated.

Andrenjinyi CR 14
XP 38,400
N Gargantuan outsider (aquatic, native)

This gigantic, black-headed snake is over 60 ft. long and sheathed in brilliant scales, each splashed with vibrant patterns of every imaginable color. The air around the serpent is heavy, redolent of the quenched red desert after a torrential thunderstorm.
Hm, that's nice, it could have been an alternative to Nirah-

Oh.
Transmuting Gullet (Su)
Any creature swallowed by the andrenjinyi must make a successful Fortitude save (DC 23; Cha-based) or be affected by baleful polymorph. The andrenjinyi can regurgitate swallowed creatures as a free action.
We... may have chosen the wrong base for Yss' champion, @Goldfish! :o
