How about breaking the curse? We can throw out a Remove Curse, a Heal, and a Panacea. He should be somewhat functional, then.

[X] Take the mage for the moment and regroup with Pol Ning to discuss your options, obviously leaving him alone is a bad idea just in case someone wants to come and cover their tracks, but moreover you are not so thoughtless as to sacrifice a life you have already saved unless it would gain you something. Furthermore, it would be easier for her to plead her case if she was carrying evidence of treachery in-hand.
Maybe have Lya use a Smoky Confinement scroll on him so we can do easy storage in our cloak?

That would be my preference for after we vacate the area, but right now getting away cleanly is more important, and the sooner he is in Viserys' cloak, the sooner we don't have to worry about anyone locating him with Divination magic.

Varys scouted the house for us and confirmed there were only the twins and their Shugenja meat puppet.
Just thinking about it, but I kind of want to steal Pol Ning for ourselves. I have no intention of propping up Pol Qo's regime, and with the destruction of the Golden Company there shouldn't be anything threatening him which could leave a void here. But eventually Mah Boi is going to come calling, and depending on how he chooses to resolve that rebellion, it would be a shame to have an asset like her doomed in some Xianxia-like "nine generations extermination" where he orders the deaths of anyone even tangentially associated with the Pol lineage.

Though we could hold off on that still, it's not like Bu Gai is in a hurry to deal with the usurper so there's no real urgency to it.

Okay, now we have two of the Mind Blanked guys, without anyone knowing anything about what happened with them, thanks to the double edged sword that is Mind Blank.

How many more had mind blank? Faegon, a coupe priests and the flesh-shaper?

With the Fleshshaper previously involved, I also want to get the Shugenja away so we can make certain they didn't hollow him out and stuff a bomb or something equally nasty inside him.

They wouldn't have had time for this. The ambushed him and prepared him for possession pretty quickly.

-[X] The story is this, Corlys Waters, a few of his comrades from the west, and a trio of Emerald Magistrates were working an undercover operation to counter Tiamat's forces. Corlys saw an opportunity to rescue Pol Ning and prove her innocence. The Azure Emperor had either used his Jade Robes already to warn the Orange pretender, or are indeed that force sent to warn him. Instead, they met the agents from the west in the midst of investigating the Golden Company's war camp, and from there realized the trap Pol Qo had almost been baited by.
-[X] Pol Ning will determine if their presence would hurt or hinder her cause, but the two 'factions' here gives both of us some flexibility in how to sell the story.

@Goldfish, we can cast all those spells in less than 18 seconds. Healing this guy and leaving him here isn't incompatible with making a clean getaway. We'll probably need those 18 seconds just to grab the bodies and loot.
Even better, if we do then he'll be an eyewitness to our disguise (which is convenient-ish)

Please don't mention Corlys again. These people aren't Mind Blanked, so assume that anything we tell them will be known to the GC. The GC know who Corlys is (they had Varys for years) and so will immediately know that we're in the area and operating against them.
This plan risks ruining our efforts!

I kind of doubt this, but sure. How would you phrase it?

[X] TalonofAnathrax

Also to add to the above, no one knows Corlys Waters = Viserys Targaryen, not even Varys. The only thing known is Corlys Waters = associated with Viserys Targaryen at best and that's not universal knowledge either.

Thinking further, why not Mind Blank Pol Ning and include her in our operations against the Golden Company? She can return with the heads of a few Priests/Mages. Hard to prove your loyalty harder than that, right @DragonParadox?

I don't even understand what your plan is trying to achieve, so don't expect me to rewrite it. Why are we even getting involved, here? The locals can handle their own shit. They know that they were going to be framed, and they can confirm it by interrogating each other with Discern Lies and stuff. They absolutely don't need our help at this point.
I want to fuck off and mindread our newest prisoners.

[X] Plan Intel-gathering
-[X] While our Companions grab our newest prisoners and their gear, bloodwish a Remove Curse and have a Companion cast Panacea on the Shugenja.
-[X] Return to Sorcerer's Deep, interrogate one of our newest prisoners in the Snare by incapacitating him, crushing his Will save with Mind Fog, and then using Brain Spider on him.
-[X] @Duesal, any question suggestions? Otherwise focus on the habits of their Mind Blanked people, the nature of their extraplanar backup and security precautions, and on how long they expect their capture to remain undiscovered (if at all).

I thought about that, but it could also place her in a precarious position. Once she is Mind Blanked, Pol Ning steps up to another level of intrigue and politics. Where did she get the Mind Blank? Who is she working for/with? Has she thrown in her lot with the Azure Emperor? Or worse, foreigners?

Furthermore, it would be easier for her to plead her case if she was carrying evidence of treachery in-hand. Place him in a Smoky Confinement bottle and store him in Viserys' cloak for now.
-[X] We will allow Pol Ning to decide on how to handle her cursed ally, though we will, of course, break the curse and heal him, should it prove necessary.
I think how we appear to her is pretty important to how she actually decides to prove her innocence. Are we all Emerald Magistrates, then? Working with a few of them and some allies of convenience from a neutral party is one thing, so long as it's just a temporary arrangement, but it's pretty goddamn threatening for a Kill Squad from Mah Boi to appear 'offering to help'. You can hardly call that impartial, and it also doesn't look good for her if she accepts help from a group exclusively loyal to the Azure Emperor.

@Goldfish, why are we even interacting with Pol Ning? This is her problem that she can solve on her own. She can prove her loyalty with Discern Lies or something.
She's also a huge security vulnerability for us, obviously.

EDIT : @Crake is right, which males my plan even better :D

By the way, it's basically midnight in my timezone, so I'm going to sleep. I'll complete my plan with any suggestions (and better questions) in the morning, or I'll vote for whoever decides that they like it and want to improve it.

I'm inclined to agree with @TalonofAnathrax, if we're not going to involve her at a higher level we should just allow the mage the ability to plead his case while fully cognizant. Just in case, give him a Sending Stone and a Teleport charm to regroup with Pol Ning on his own. Then boogie to do "Jade Robe things".

The Snare is not where this should take place. He won't be Mind Blanked there.

The Divination-proofed room of the Shadow Tower is the only place we can keep him unless we leave his Mind Blank item on him. Otherwise, our involvement will be clear within hours.

I'll take over for you. Ya'll have talked me around to your way of thinking on this one.

[X] Plan Intel-gathering Mk II
-[X] While our Companions grab our newest prisoners and their gear, bloodwish a Remove Curse and have a Companion cast Panacea on the Shugenja. Leave him with a Sending Stone and Teleport Charm so that he can regroup with Pol Ning.
-[X] Return to Sorcerer's Deep, interrogate one of our newest prisoners in the Divination-proofed room of the Shadow Tower by incapacitating him, crushing his Will save with Greater Bestow Curse, and then using Brain Spider on him, but only after making certain he has no hidden kill switches or other hidden effects which might render his mind and memories unviable, or worse, allow him to kill himself. If he does have these countermeasures and we cannot disable them, use Scribe's Binding on him instead. Keep the Staff of Power and all of the twin mages' gear and other possessions in the room until it can be identified and cleared of Arcane Marks, Dragoneye Runes, curses, etc.
-[X] Primary interrogation questions:
--[X] We want the full details of the current scheme they were involved in at Trader Town.
--[X] Who/what were the priority targets?
--[X] What contacts within Trader Town do they have?
--[X] What assets within Trader Town do they have which are still hidden?
--[X] What other schemes are active/inactive that they are aware of?
--[X] Rinse and repeat the above for the rest of the world, get all info on the Golden Company's schemes that they know of. What are their goals, who helps them, who opposes them, etc?
--[X] We want intel on the Shadow Fortress, what guardians are currently in there, etc.
--[X] We want intel on the Dragons that Tiamat has lurking in the shadows -- how many are they aware of, how powerful are they?
--[X] We want intel on any "special surprises" that F!Aegon has for us (like reserved summons, traps for high level casters, bombs, etc).
--[X] We want intel on the various places that casters might flee to among the Golden Company if the main camp and the Shadow Fortress are compromised.
--[X] We want intel on the Shadow Plane, their friends and enemies, who they buy their equipment from, etc.
-[X] After the interrogation, unless there are immediately pressing matters, Viserys will use the magic bedroll to recover his expended spell slots.
