People, they are warded against all forms of magical detection and divination. They command respect and fear. That's not only
a problem. Assasinate or capture and carefully replace such one by one. Who would have the guts to question minor changes in behaviour?

I am inclined to at least get their biological material and use the Yss curse a couple times in that event...unless we want to bleed them in battle.
We have the good fortune that we have multiple rogue/stealth units that can be placed around all of them. With luck they will be the first to die.

Off the top of my head:

1. Garin
2. Maelor
3. Orphne Lord
4. Wyla Drekelis
5. Melisandre
6. Svitran
7. Sharra Rogare
8. Anya the Inquisitor
9. Mia the Inquisitor
10. Tor 2.0

Assasinate and their soul goes to Tiamat...fucking Greed Domain. By that point every mage in the camp would know that someone killed their grand mage

I mean defences for their tent/cabin. What the first post on this refers to.

They will certainly have home-defences, as any sane and most crazy mages have. Alarms, Runes of Warding and for the more powerful ones propably more exotic effects.
Personally I'm quite fond of my barrels full of alchemy with a few redundant tripwires.

High-level rogues love to try and AMF past your defenses, but they rarely got something against enough explosives to blast a 60 ft. crater into solid rock.

Thinking about it. I am inclined to bleed them but not kill them...hear me out. If they die their souls go to Tiamat. If they get away or get captured they are ours. If they get away then we can hunt them down later. We would have bled them and have enough blood to find all of them in the clean up action.

Then capture them. Under mind blank, nobody knows what happened to them.

Fairly difficult to do. Could be done but it would have to be done perfectly

It is a matter of probability and enough alter fortunes thrown at them.

We have the means. We just need to lie in wait of an opportunity

My favorite updates are the ones where we capture someone working for entities like Tiamat, and we interrogate/force them to record their thoughts, and Viserys reads through it and it's 99.9% insane rambling 00.1% useful and 367% "I don't know what else I was expecting, to be honest".

I think we should carry on with scouting and Intel gathering for now, y'all. Like @Duesal said, we can extract Abishai names from the Cleric's corpses later on. Moving on one of them now, or poking around the vicinity in the Dreamlands, threatens to alert someone or something to our presence.

I'm anticipating finding a trap specifically for Dany in the dreamlands.

Me, PMing DP : "Hey, this is pretty cool if [X faction] has a Dweomerkeeper or something!"
DP : [agrees]
My stupid brain : WTF TIME TO PANIC THEY COULD HAVE A DWEOMERKEEPER
:rofl::facepalm:

EDIT : To clarify, DP confirmed absolutely nothing and used carefully vague language, probably so that I wouldn't know if [the thing I linked] was going to come up.

What.
Rogues are in fact the best possible people to survive such a trap. Detecting and disarming dangerous traps is their entire class' shtick, and they come with Evasion to dodge explosives of all kinds.
Or do you mean the thing will explode once the AMF touches it, but before the Rogue can detect and disarm the trap? That could work, but then the Rogue could just make their Reflex save and live.

I thought the Dweomerkeeper PRC specifically didn't exist in this setting?

No. It specifically requires training to achieve, actually. Although that example was given way back when Viserys was in Braavos, and this quest's power-level has changed a lot since. Any number of enemy factions could have it!
But in any case I was just suggesting something that went nicely with the class, but can also work with a whole bunch of other things.

DP has absolutely not said that Dweomerkeepers were a thing. I'm freaking out over absolutely nothing. That's the joke.

Guys, it's nigh irrelevant what neat tricks someone has if they are being attacked from ambush, it only matters what precautions they took, usually by throwing money at the problem coming at it from several directions.

So, ah, at which point are we going to go to Azure and Orange boiz and talk real shit about the attack?
Well, rather sending a strike-team to deal with shit in Azure's court, and ensuring the Orange's mages don't light us on fire with the storm they've been cooking?
Also, the Orange may have some unique perspective on Timmi'e forces, which may or may not be a fucking lie constructed by her agents.

A flesh forge in the dreamlands probably.
That, and grabbing ourselves more planar-forging lore, shadow-creature templates, and then making a non-"fuckass mad"-dragon outta it, imo @Duesal.

And on the planar-forging lore, @DragonParadox, we haven't gotten an answer the last month -
Did Bloodraven discover anything alike to R'hlor's lore on fire-forging (but for Earth Outsiders instead, or maybe Plant Outsiders, lol) in OG-collective, since we asked?
