I shouldn't have to say this, but insulting people on the other side of the argument never actually gets them to change their mind over getting more people voting for it out of spite.
I agree that that getting some enhanced attribute would take some of the sting out of it, but the lesson we should be taking from spending points on useless things is to not spend points on useless things, not going deeper into sunk cost territory.
Its cute that you think a robot arm is where it should stop, I verily disagree with your assessment however. Ideologically, replacing what is lost is not nearly good enough, one must also be willing to trade up from what they have.
You see it as spending points on useless things, I see it as spending points on potential things. Namely potential for SW to explore Missy's Transhumanism in character.
That assume a full robot body is indeed a trade up. cybernetic enhancements (to a degree) and replacements are all well and good, but I do not see any appeal to being a jarred brain in a metal shell like your envisioned endpoint is.
As a cape, legally she can give consent even though in her non cape ID she wouldn't be able to do so. Especially as she has formally resigned from the Wars and thus is no longer under the Protectorate's or Youth Guard's purview. It stems from cape identities being treated as separate legal identities as an outgrowth of the Unwritten Rules.

Transhumanism isn't necessarily just about replacing the human body with a cybernetic one, it can also include enhancing the human frame in ways that tell Evolution to go take a hike. To this end having Missy experience biological Transhumanism via Mutagenics might mean she'd be more willing to get biological repairs / upgrades than going "Oh well, suit me up with another Cyber-limb"
Again, there's no reason for this because we have had an OoC vote that makes it so we already know her feelings on this. If there was a more pressing reason for the additional changes I would feel different, but at the moment it's kind of waste over other building projects.
With the constant of random mutations that would accompany any mutagen-based repairs/"upgrades", not too sold on that path either.
Ah...Yikes. Definitely not voting for Missy to get any extra mutations then. Since we want to give Standstill one of the not-in-use Templates, it'd take 10 build actions to make a Template for her, no matter if we chose Extinction Knight or Infinite Enhancement.
I dunno, i think id prioritize templating missy(part of our team) as Extinction Knight over Standstill (doing their own thing)
I'm pretty sure SW has OoC banned Missy from getting a template due to the amount of work they've already put in, but I'd have to search to be sure.

But sure. Template as a backup plan is fine. It's going in with the idea that no matter what I reveal you're giving her a template that pisses me off.
But we've already seen that Missy doesn't care about the drawbacks of Biological Tanshumanism with the LCM updates. Again, the OoC vote means that she'll be fine with all types of Transhumanism so there's no need for the additional enforcement.
Yeah, but we might have things for Tim to build for whatever reason, and I'd prefer to get the necessary Devices built ASAP. If we do decide to use them to make a Template for Missy or Standstill, the less drains Tim has to deal with means the faster we can get the new Template ready.
I think there is a difference between not caring and willing to take the risks and accepting their consequences (jury's still on if she really could have stomached that) if she achieves her goal of keeping her mind safe, figuring out what she wants as a person, and self determination.
