I doubt the Will reward will actually be some kind of flat boost to our saves.
More likely it will be some kind of oblique boost. Because as you said, that's just boring (and it's already been stated all three of the possible rewards are definitely better than just what you could Wish for).

I trust DP and Azel to make it worth it regardless, but that's not what I'm complaining about. I'm complaining about the reasoning behind going after will being blatantly chasing after higher numbers. If people were after some cool "bow before me" effect then I'd have less of an issue, but they clearly aren't.

I don't think we will get higher numbers from this, but rather an interesting ability of some sort, hopefully one which will help us safeguard our mind.I can see where this is headed.I wishthe reasoning behind the current winning vote was at least halfway thematic instead of blatantly chasing higher numbers.
Flamesense is neat and has its uses, but only in a very niche area. It's great for Ymeri, who is a Fire-natured Fey Demigod and who lives on the Plane of Fire surrounded by Fire-natured minions. For us it would be helpful tracking the location of Efreeti and little else of practical value.

Yss uses the excess power to stop time in order to take a serious power nap without mortals disturbing him with a funnel or any annoying questions.

Come hell or high water, we got:
A) A badass-as-fuck Seaserpent to assign as we see fit.
Our 3rd CR20 creature (Hadhyosh would be restored soon enough, and Adamantine Golem's gonna get gear to add at least 1CR more).
B) We removedkebthe worst sort of Devil from under our upcoming invasion to Westeros, the false God that would have majorly fucked things up
And we got all the knowledge it held in its braincase, too!
C) We upgraded the Curse-staff, so now there shall never be more drama about "whether we should use it or not".
D) We are getting a Fleschrafter Divine Servant(s) made out of Pridespawn, and a Researcher(s) at that.
I can honestly say that what we get out of Heart now makes up... but 35% of this trip's effects, at most.
