Threads Of Destiny(Eastern Fantasy, Sequel to Forge of Destiny)

Voted best in category in the Users' Choice awards.
Choosing Art would be a really good jump point for a Sixiang scene, which we kinda need for a hundred different reasons.

War or Resolve don't jump out as distinct enough from events to lead into Scenes of relevance. I'm not sure who they could even be with, insofar as actual practice is concerned.

Spirit Ken has potential but we're basically capped there anyway so meh.

Hmm wonder if mum and Biyu will mention the heroic fox lady and co when we next see them.

"Oh yeah, my co-worker and hunting buddy? Yeah they're cool."

...if Biyu becomes a fan of Mysterious Heroine Fox we're definitely introducing them, right?
It's entirely possible that she and Gang saved our mom and sister's lives. It is near-certain that at least some of the members of that household yet live who would have died without their intervention.

@yrsillar - I know that the sect has rules about what aid the Inners may and may not offer to the Outers. How do they feel about rewards springing from heart-felt gratitude and sincere feelings of obligation?

I do want to see more of Su Ling and GG interacting now. Mayhaps we can invite them both to tea at our house, start getting our family used to hosting green realm cultivators?

I mean, we need to do that anyway, eventually, I just think that we should think of a reason for Ling Qi to invite Su Ling and GG at the same time.
This is an obvious reason to invite them both over to mom's place at the same time.

But there is literally a stat called Resist?
AND GAN FLEXINGTON IGNORES IT
He has an esoteric art that is *very specific*.

Only when he's immobile. So he's the guy who sits at the side of the party watching people's bags or whatever, I guess.
No, no! He's the venue!

Actually, that would be a heck of an evolution for the art. Lean a bit into the connection with Zhengui, lean a bit into TRF, add some plant theming to that thing. Make it a forest party - spirits dancing through the woods, constantly harassing those who try to force their way through the brambles. Admittedly, that's more of a "tear it apart, and use it for pieces" evolution, but we actually need to do one or two of those at some point, so that's not necessarily a bad thing.

Ah yes, the garden, where there's a completely innocuous totally-not-suspicious mound just sitting there in the middle of the field.
He's pretty much hill-sized at the moment. We can put a gazebo on it, or make it where the band sits or something. It'll be fine.

We will put flowers on him. No one will suspect a thing.
Flowers would help, but I suspect they won't be sufficient unto themselves. We'd need to make it something where it's enough of a feature that it would make sense to.

As for a vote... I admit that the "attributes before skills" thing sways me.

Remember that the centre of town is well guarded, and would have been fine. It's the outer areas that lacked cover.

Mainly going for resolve here, but getting basic grounding in more entertainment types makes sense to me.

Reminder, Resolve takes up both points so if you're voting for Resolve you can't vote for anything else.

That means that our mom and sister were probably fine, but they might have saved the lives of several of our servants or their families, they might work in the town center but they don't live there. Also just saving random people they know and defending the town as a whole is probably enough to warrant a mention.

And I guess another more meta reason our family wasn't in danger is that yrsillar isn't going to kill our family unless we really fuck up some immediately relevant story vote stuff. I hope.
