I would recommend having Viserys Miracle up a Brain Spider spell to hurry along the interrogations. It can scan eight minds simultaneously for similar subjects.

Also have Varys on the lookout for intelligent minds, reporting their type, approximate intellect, and locations as we go.
Good idea, added. :)

Now that we have the Mind Worm and Faerex, @DragonParadox, can you tell us what she actually was? A legit Brainstealer Dragon, but one who transformed without undergoing ceremorphosis? Or was it a partial one, maybe, which allowed some vestige of her personality to remain intact?

With a minimum Psionic manifester level of 13 to be tossing out Decerberate powers, I'm guessing she either piled on Psion class levels or for some variant of the Psychic or Phrenic Creature template?

She was a level 15 psion and did not have the psi-like abilities or mindblast and kept her breath weapon. As to how much of her personality she kept there is no way to tell that IC without some interrogation.

Elaheh, Qyburn, and Saenena will be deeply involved in this IC investigation. @DragonParadox, do Faerex and the Mind Worm give any sort of bonus to the psionics research when dissected? They are highly unusual test subjects compared to what we were expecting (Illithids, Ulitharids, Aboleths, etc).

Somebody should be on the lookout for life signs in general. Atleast one breed of Illithedae is strong enough to be a threat while still dumb enough to not have a detectable mind.

Just remember, y'all. Don't fall for the same schmuck bait that Faerex did. If there's something in her lair that absolutely should be purged by fire, make that shit Searing and do it on the spot.

If Faerex can be transformed from a Brine Dragon into a Brainstealer Dragon while maintaining her personality and becoming a level 15 Psion, presumably a change catalyzed by something she found in a Deep One fortress, there is a pretty good chance that one of the factions of the Deep Ones (Illithid, Aboleths, etc., maybe even some of the other odd ones such as the Neogi) is actually comprised of Brainstealers.

Yeah, she is definitely going to be prime experimenting material. I can't wait to figure out what makes her tick.

Hopefully there's stuff that isn't totally corrupted we can safely give him.
If there isn't uncorrupted stuff, we will just have to buy his share from him, we can pay him the sacrifice value for it, if I remember right, my calculation from when Mantarys first Heart tree was grown, said that 1 CL worth of sacrifice was worth 200 IM, if sacrificed with the request being for reagents.

That would limit the power of certain mutations (like abberant feats on humanoids) but it's not an I Win button against Deep Ones.
I meant the servitors who are imperfect creations only held together by the corruption.

while still dumb enough to not have a detectable mind.

There is no such thing as having a mind too dumb to detect luckily.

So Bookify > Transcribe > Fleshwork?

If you think about it, Return to Nature's effects against Aberrations are damaging. Most imperfect creations are going to not have a lot of HP. How would one tell if the Far Realm taint being rendered inert is more immediately fatal than the Far Realm Expunging damage from the spell? And for everything else, as was pointed out, it works like a standard dispel. They lose their abilities if they fail their save, but that doesn't hurt them in of itself (because discomfort isn't the same as mortal wounding).

First, we are showing that to GIth (whom we just accidentally also are visiting next), and hope they can tell us more about the things - getting us a good starting point for any cutting-research.
Then we bookify and start researching.
