Yss: "I have been inssspired. Bring me a sssleeping log!"
It'd be great to see how the Westerosi react to that.Viserys, giving presentation in SD, turns to the mirror receiver: "...hold that thought, citizens." pop
Viserys, appearing LIVE, VIA SORCERY: "DIE SCREAMING!"
I'm pretty sure the Deep Ones compete with the Drow for most horrific slavers ever. It's not a big leap to assume the Moonsinger Goddess wants them dead....Ah, could someone remind me, what is Silver Moon Goddess' take on "fighting off against the opressors"?
Because I wonder how many people we could get up in arms (powerful ones) and/or sponsoring (less powerful ones) the crusade to cleanse Deep Ones off the Plane of Balance if we exploit the religious angle and show how much of an existential threat are they to all people on PoB.
Even simply applying civilian pressure on officials from this angle could be useful.
... do you guys think if we built a big enough temple, with the right symbolic setup, that the moon singer goddess could use it as a divine salient focus?I'm pretty sure the Deep Ones compete with the Drow for most horrific slavers ever. The Yi Tish can attest to this, being on the receiving end of thousands of raids. The Jhogos Nhai are very much not peaceful. Also the Moonsinger is the primary goddess of the Jhogos Nai, another not!Mongol nomadic tribal group that rides zebras. I don't think she can be thaaattt against violence as a whole
Personally I'd rather not give her moon lasers, just like I didn't want the temple in Sorcerer's Deep to be armed with super weapons.... do you guys think if we built a big enough temple, with the right symbolic setup, that the moon singer goddess could use it as a divine salient focus?
I forget what she takes as sacrifice, but the ability to pay in magical items or something for moon lasers would be fantastic.
I would prefer for us to be in complete control of any Moon Laser facilities, rather than leave that to a deity of any sort, even one who is our nominal ally.... do you guys think if we built a big enough temple, with the right symbolic setup, that the moon singer goddess could use it as a divine salient focus?

That much is a given, but I'm wondering how to best phrase that to worshippers, without the Goddess being pissed off at us for the manipulation.I'm pretty sure the Deep Ones compete with the Drow for most horrific slavers ever. It's not a big leap to assume the Moonsinger Goddess wants them dead.
Very much agreed. I'm not okay with anything less than total monopoly of all superweapons.I would prefer for us to be in complete control of any Moon Laser facilities, rather than leave that to a deity of any sort, even one who is our nominal ally.
You're overthinking this. Why wouldn't we get the clerics' support against the Deep Ones? Braavos is absurdly vulnerable to them, of course they'd want to fight before an invasion happens. That much is a given, but I'm wondering how to best phrase that to worshippers, without the Goddess being pissed off at us for the manipulation.
She seems to have large support base at least in Vialesk - we can ensure the militay and/or economical support if enough citizens voice their desire to help.
We need the Goddess' help more immediately than that of her worshippers', too.
This is great.
Is this some sort of Daredevil reference?
"Zoom and enhance" becomes far more believable if there's an archmage on staff, yes."Law & Order: The Deep" could focus mostly on the mundane side of the justice system, while "CTI: Criminal Thaumaturgic Investigation" deals with magically gathering and processing evidence
You always catch on first!
There you go
Sneak Attack doesn't get multiplied on crits, tho.And realized what a mistake it was to give the Scout (sneak attack on charge) Rouge a Keen Rapier at Level 1 lol.
