Definitly nice in theory, but nobody on our side qualifies. Amy comes closest and I don't think it would work for him.
Eh, I'm sure there'd be a way to apply a bastardised version to Valyrian dragons, if nothing else.
It's all mostly runes, after all.
Wouldn't be much different from our Tatto guardians, or enchanted items we out on V!Dragons.

Not a priority either way, though.

We could probably make rune-gorged constructs, too.

I don't think that works.
It's a matter of the mind as much as the outwardly applied runes, Hidecarved Dragons are the closest thing dragons have to a monkish order.

@DragonParadox
What about a greater attack?

A strike with all we have on multiple Illicities, not meant to be hidden but to strike hard enough to be difficult to resist with their available assets.

Would he lend warriors for that?
Yes, assuming you could tie down the Deep Ones in Elysium too so they do not overwhelm the Gith allies there.
Ooh, I forgot about that part.
@Goldfish, @Crake, @Artemis1992, any ideas?
We might have to travel to remaining cities in Hellven to coordinate an operation with them.
Maybe supplying with massive amounts of resources from PoB would be enough to have them make a decent distraction.
-------------------------------------------------------------
Teaching Psionic Arts -> Free though conditional on finding compatible students
...Shall we send Jeyne to them next month, y'all?
She definitely can get much use out of their knowledge, comparatively low-level as she is.
-------------------------------------------------------------
Commission Psionic Items -> +25% standard market price for items with manifester levels 1-5; +40% standard market price for items with manifester levels 6-10; +70% standard market price for items with manifester levels 11-15; manifester levels 16-20 not available
@Goldfish, we can order items with Manifester level 15.
And it's just on that thin edge of waht we can order :V
Not cheap, but that "Timestop"-like effect is definitely worth it for most sensitive fights (like Tiamat's Aspect, Asmodeus' best in Slavers Bay, Illithid's Fatbrain, etc.).

I think she'd benefit a lot more through adventuring, dude.

It's essentially the same with the Scholarum. Sure our magelings would technically learn more within the Scholarum, but they will definitely get stronger more quickly through adventuring.

And Jeyne isn't a wizard-type character either, so she doesn't have to stay put and learn spells.

Eh, honestly I more hoped for her grabbing any and all lore Gith have regarding psionics in process.
That-a-way, after her finishing her "education" there she would've had a basis to be our premier Researcher in the topic.

But sure, I don't mind her focusing on blasting shit with the power of her mind.

EDIT: Hm. The alerts are lagging behind the factual appearance of messages for me, now.

She's only level 6 now. Even if we wanted her to be a researcher we'd be better served in power-leveling her to level 10 before any such attempts.

Actually, she might be able to do some quality adventuring with the Githzerai. Their people have to level somewhere, too.

Hmm, once more my memory fails me. Gotta keep that in mind for our next visit.

I won't object as long as she's steadily power leveled. My only problem is if she's stuck somewhere meditating instead of adventuring.

Anyone made a tech support post about the missing or delayed alerts? Seems to be affecting everyone.

The Githzerai don't live any longer than humans, IIRC, so they can't afford for their combat capable people to sit around meditating all the time. And Limbo isn't a safe place either, as we saw earlier. There is probably a bunch of low level adventuring to be done.

Didn't we see a group of baby Gith adventurers meditating to keep limbo from spontaneously deciding their homes didn't exist?

Even without the low level adventure goldfish mentioned, holding reality together with your mind seems like a great way for a Psionic to gain power at the lower levels.

Even if that is the case and that gives XP it still doesn't seem as effective as actual adventuring. I don't care where she adventures, though, so if it's in Limbo under the eye of a full PC then that's fine.

Alright, a few more Psionic spells that can be of use (if I got that right, Manifester level is same thing as Caster level (but psionic), so powers of 7th circle would be of 14th ML, right?):
Decerebrate
With decerebrate, you selectively remove a portion of the subject's brain stem. The creature loses all cerebral function, vision, hearing, and other sensory abilities, and all voluntary motor activity. The subject becomes limp and unresponsive. Without extreme measures, such as greater restoration or some other suitable effect of 7th level or higher, the creature perishes in 1d4 days.
Crystallize
Metacreativity
Level:Shaper 6
Display:Auditory
Manifesting Time:1 standard action
Range:Medium (100 ft. + 10 ft./ level)
Target:One living creature
Duration:Permanent
Saving Throw:Fortitude negates
Power Resistance:Yes
Power Points:11
You seed the subject's flesh with supersaturated crystal. In an eyeblink, the subject's form seems to freeze over, as its flesh and fluids are instantly crystallized. Following the application of this power, the subject appears lifeless. In fact, it is not dead (though no life can be detected with powers or spells that detect such).
This power has a chance of being dispelled only by a manifester of a higher level than you when you manifested this power. When the power is dispelled, crystal melts back into flesh, and the subject is in exactly the state he was prior being affected by crystallize.
Essentialy, 2 more spells to save-or-suck enemies.
Pros: Would work even if enemies Spellbane themselves from B!Polymorph, Amber Coccoon and that Cleric's seal-in-a-cross spell.
Cons: Making items is a very suboptimal way to go about this, since iirc saves count off as those of spell, not the user. Ergo, we'll be casting at minimum possible advantage.
Fate of One
Clairsentience
Level:Seer 7
Display:Mental and visual
Manifesting Time:1 immediate action
Range:Personal
Target:You
Duration:Instantaneous
Power Points:13
Your limited omniscience allows you to reroll a saving throw, attack roll, or skill check. Whatever the result of the reroll, you must use it even if it is worse than the original roll.
You can manifest this power instantly, quickly enough to gain its benefits in an emergency. Manifesting this power is an immediate action. If you use the power to reroll a saving throw, you can manifest this power even when it is not your turn.
If we can get an item of this, we'd get a way to re-roll in a critical situation.
Even 1/day would be neat, imo.
It should also stack with Dany's fortune-reversing.
All the rerolls.
Reddopsi
Psychokinesis
Level:Kineticist 7
Display:Auditory, mental, and olfactory
Manifesting Time:1 standard action
Range:Personal
Target:You
Duration:10 min./level (D)
Power Points:13
When you manifest reddopsi, powers targeted against you rebound to affect the original manifester. This effect reverses powers that have only you as a target (except dispel psionics and similar powers or effects). Powers that affect an area and those that produce effects can't be reversed. Reddopsi also can't reverse any power with a range of touch.
Should you rebound a power back against a manifester who also is protected by reddopsi, the power rebounds once more upon you.
A buff with a very good duration.
An item of this would definitely be of use against Illithid, since it would turn most spells/powers around, giving a final safety net in case we fail to counter-dispell.

Thoughts?

All good, but only the first one is a general psionic power. The others are all limited to specific disciplines. Jeyne, for example, is a Kineticist. She can eventually learn Reddopsi.

Ah, I just dared to assume that between all of their monasteries, we can make anything path-wise, constrained but by ML of theirs (because apparently the best of theirs are busy holding reality together or killing squids. They get a pass, I'd say :V).

Ordering some items of Reddopsi for our Companions pushing into Illithid forces, a Fate of One for ourselves, a set of Temporal Acceleration items for those who could use the advantage most, and a few Null Psionic Field's seems like the best idea of an order this month.
Maaaaaybe also an item of Crystallize and Decerebrate, just in case of an overly-prepared asshole with overlapping Spellbane and Spell Immunites.
Well, and as many Detect Psionics-items as we can get away with.

Good thing we have the finances for that, because like hell are we skipping on defenses against CR 20+ Illithid elites there.
