Also what are we voting on here? What to do with the familiar? If so I'd want to set priority on finding it out what it was doing in heaven. Its contacts and how it was hiding from Efreeti to set up a believable leak to ambush the team sent after it. Very likely to be another apprentice or someone trying to fill the spot this ones master had.

Yeah couldn't access SV for a bit there.

This was a bit of a Strategic concern though. The Efreeti will be searching for this guy with atleast a bit of effort due to the humiliation it implies for one of the Viziers apprentices to have his body possessed by his own familiar.

Now that we have him we can possibly even set up an ambush for whoever will send after him. Potentially even another apprentice. Especially if they want to keep this in house and hush hush. That would be worth it.
I have my doubts we'll have the time to set up anything like this given all the other plates in the air. It would be neat if something like that ever happened, though.
Sure, though they might not be trivial to catch.
Haven't we already caught them? We summoned them at the end of last month, didn't we? Same with the Cornugon.

I am wondering if we can bait an SOS signal in order to get an apprentice to come and try to help. Or even the master if we can afford it.

Eh, let them scramble around searching for a mind blanked possessed body for a Month or two till we have the time. If they cant find him it just means he is hiding well afterall. Plus the longer he 'eludes' them the more pissed they will be and the more they will likely send when they get a hint where he is.

He is potential bait for a juicier target at a later date.

Efreeti so probably not. More likely for them the kill each other than help them if they send an SoS. More likely that they know already and are searching to kill the embarrassment. Let em search for a few months while we get things ready and bother to set a ambush.

Oh, right. Sorry I was confused for a moment on what the action on devil summoning for this month said.
We've currently got two Uniila we've captured, both in service to Asmodeus.

With turning them into books we want:

1. True Names, of course
2. Active plots of Asmodeus or other supernaturals they're aware of
3. Dormant plots that they're aware of that we'd be interested in
4. Whatever research both of them were working on
What is the staff called again? I can't find it.
Staff of Yss or Staff of Ages.
Staff of Ages

Description: Once charred beyond all hope of recognition, perhaps in the vain hope of slaying its last bearer, the black staff is now glossy and covered in a thin oily film that somehow does not impede one's grip at all. Silver bells once tarnished now shine with burnished light, adorning the staff as before.

Ability: This staff allows use of the following spells:
Special: By using up to twice the number of charges at once during an hour long ritual, the bearer can curse a target either present in person or through a token anointed with the subject's blood without allowing a save.

Special: If the staff is broken by the bearer while it has at least 15 Charges all creatures within 10 ft. other than the bearer permanently advance 1d4 age categories (Will save DC 28 halves). If this would cause the victims to achieve an age category older than venerable they immediately fall to dust and are counted as having died of natural causes.

Charges: 30/30

Caster level: 15

@Duesal, don't worry about the staff charges, dude. We recharged it recently and expanded it's maximum capacity, IIRC. It has plenty of power left (20 of 30 charges now), and we can always recharge it again. The Larder is full of suitable sacrifices.

The sacrifices aren't the problem, the problem is Yss is almost always being used for something we want -- like being fed the Flesh Smiths to make a new Flesh Smith, charging the Well of Souls with the power of Oblivion, etc -- so it's not like we can count on him being available to charge the staff in a pinch. What's done is done, though, I should have noticed this when the minor actions were proposed.

If we could feed the Staff sacrifices manually it would be barely an inconvenience. But that is probably out of the question. Would be nice though. A similar effect to that of the Belt of Yss except on a staff.

@DragonParadox, the only Devil-summoning Minor Action (background summoning aside) we have is the one about attempting to summon an Advodaza with Yss help at 6 out of 9 chances to succeed.
[X] With the help of Yss, attempt to summon the Advodaza that once slew Thoros and tried to corrupt Westeros through works of Alchemist Guild.
-[X] Have Yss look back into time to the connection Advodaza's summoning amulet once had (6 in 9 chances of succeeding).
-[X] If successfull, commence summoning in The Snare, no matter if dead or captured, this thing cannot be allowed to spread it's influence again, as it without a doubt will try.
-[X] To be attempted around the start of 11th month.

I would appreciate not summoning anything "in the background" until the end of the month if possible @everyone.

Makes it easier on me to count up numbers for DP and marginally easier an e pueirnce for all of us.

We have an action to look through and question Uniilas and Cornugon and Gelugons of Asmodeus we grabbed last month.
The reason for that is, of course, to make Malarys' task in Slavers Bay easier.
[X] Curse the 2 knowledge-keepers of Asmodeus you summoned last month to same form their wretched cousin from Summerhall resides in.
-[X] Have them thoroughly investigated for anything that can help the group sent to Slavers' Bay, immediately notifying them if any relevant information comes to light - but also keeping an eye out for any other plots of Fiends they may reveal.
-[X] To be done at the start of 11th month

[X] Throughly question the Gelugons and the Cornugon of Asmodeus summoned and captured last month.
-[X] Any and all information relevant to the task of the group in Slavers Bay is to be relayed to them immediately- but also search for knowledge of powerful magics, rare resources, or nefarious plots unconnected to Slavers Bay.
-[X] To be done at the start of 11th month.

We have other targets to summon from though, and I'd like to take on whoever we learn from Uniilas/Gelugons/Cornugon in 12th month, as per rules we established for background summoning.

@Duesal, I'm sorry you feel that way about summoning the familiar.
I thought I expressed myself well enough that j considered him a loose end, and I'm fully convinced that Mindblank we got from him is worth the act.

However, I see some of your point.
Good thing though, is that Yss is definitely going to be avaliable for recharge this month when we'll attempt nabbing that Advodaza.

Either way, the charges aren't lost and I think 3 would be enough for the month.
