We, however, can't summon one from Pathfinder, because they are bullshit (too much HD for our spells), and there is a distinct lack of stats for non-homebrewn 3.5 to guess whether we can.

Fair enough.

@dragonaparadox, if we get Herald/his body to Yss and have Yss act as a "pump" for Ymeri's energy inside (instead of trying that all by oursleves), and we pay with some more stuff on top of Herald - would we still get "snake features" as per usual Yss' blessings?

You know, rather than use Yss, we could just Unchain a Miracle to do it. If we had the XP.

We'd need 163,000 total to do so, though.

Was talking about grafting ambiguous energy fields onto our soul, not Phoenixes. But I figure your brain will catch up like a second after I post this anyway. :ninja:

Done that before.
Could you please elaborate?

I'm not really getting where does the 163,000 number comes from, Miracle is only 10,000..?

Neither do I remember applying Miracle any time before like that, aside from Viserys getting Djinn-grafted a Feat to burn fire with fire.

Ah, that.
I'm not sure if Miracle or Wish can be used to make something more "digestible" so to say.
That would then purely be in the realm of GM-decisions.

Cutoff point for Level 18 is 153,000, @egoo, c'mon buddy.

@Duesal, the plan snek-pump is unfortunately a no-go.
Unfortunately no, he is the Forever Serpent, that which devours its own tail not the lord of gifts, to make the power his and shape it he has to consume it then invest it another. The one god Viserys knows that could shift that fire magic unchanged is R'hllor the Red so maybe ask Melisandre or Benerro, you guys know R'hllor takes sacrifices after all.
I would, however, fight hard agaisnt going to R'hlor with this.
Like hell are we trusting our soul to anyone but Yss or OGs like that :/

Because R'hllor is a god of fire and thus can serve as a conduit for the power without changing it, the Old Gods can't, they would give different blessings.

Great, our only hope of getting an Ultimate Reward is to lay our soul to a Slaver God.

Obeisance, acquiescence, and submissive are the things he expects and will kept expecting of us if we give him a mote of respect no matter small. And I'LL BE DAMNED IF I'M GOING TO GIVE HIM EVEN A SINGLE DUST SPECK OF IT!!!

  • [X] Plan Extreme Closure
-[X] Final Buffs (assuming all normal combat buffs with a duration longer than round/level have already been cast by the party while hunting N'Gath), as well as:
--[X] Teana (in her Shadow-Traced form) will leave one of her Shadow duplicates behind before entering the chamber as an emergency escape measure. She creates a Ghost Wolf to accompany her into battle.
--[X] Zherys casts Repulsion using his Runestaff of Abjuration, then Arcane Spellsurge and Greater Blink.
--[X] Viserys casts Searing Agonizing Mass Fire Shield on everyone, Greater Blink, Transdimensional Freezing Glance, and Arcane Spellsurge. He activates his ring to gain a +2 bonus to his Dispel checks immediately before entering the chamber.
--[X] Rina casts Veil of Undeath on herself.
    -[X] Upon entering the chamber and sighting N'Gath, Viserys acts first, followed by the others as the Initiative order dictates;
--[X] Viserys casts Nerveskitter (raising his Initiative bonus to +16), targets N'Gath with a Transdimensional Chain Dispel spell via Wild Arcana (+24 Dispel check bonus, rolled twice if necessary due to Eldritch Breath), then uses Transdimensional Freezing Glance against it as a Free Action (DC 30 Will save to avoid being Paralyzed).
--[X] Zherys casts True Casting as a Swift Action then targets N'Gath with a Maximized Disintegrate spell (DC 26 Fort save reduces damage from 216 HP to just 30 HP).
--[X] Rina casts Assay Spell Resistance, then targets N'Gath with a Maximized Fell Drain Destruction spell (DC 24 Fort Save-or-Die; successful save reduces damage to 60 HP and one Negative Level).
--[X] Teana sets her Ghost Wolf to attack N'Gath as a Free Action, casts Assay Spell Resistance, then targets it with Greater Shadow Enchantment to duplicate the effects of a Feeblemind spell (DC 32 Will save to avoid having Int & Cha reduced to 1 point).
-[X] If N'Gath survives the initial onslaught without being destroyed or Feebleminded, Viserys casts Celerity followed by Time Stop.
--[X] Once he recovers from being Stunned by Celerity, Viserys casts Assay Spell Resistance, assumes True Dragon form, then waits for the Time Stop to end. When time resumes, he targets N'Gath with Freezing Glance as a Free Action and Stun Ray via Miracle (Stunned for 1d4+1 rounds; DC 33 Fort save reduces Stun to 1 round) as a Swift Action. If the Stun Ray strikes N'Gath, Viserys then uses Transdimensional Polar Midnight via Wild Arcana as a Standard Action (DC 33 Fort save). If Stun Ray misses, Viserys instead targets N'Gath with a Transdimensional Avasculate (Halves remaining HP and Stunned for 1 round; DC 31 Fort save prevents Stun).
    [X] Dirriz Level Up
    -[X] Class: +1 Oracle
    -[X] Skills (7 points): +1 Appraise, +1 Bluff, +1 Concentration, +1 Diplomacy, +1 Knowledge (Arcana), +1 Spellcraft, +1 Use Magic Device
    -[X] Spells:
    --[X] Cantrip:
    ---[X] Retrain: Flare >>> Prestidigitation
--[X] 1st Level: Resurgence, Tap Inner Beauty
---[X] Retrain: Magic Stone >>> Barbed Chains
--[X] 2nd Level: Close Wounds, Cure Moderate Wounds
---[X] Retrain: Spiritual Weapon >>> Ironskin
--[X] 3rd Level: Ancestral Awakening, Cure Serious Wounds
    -[X] Revelation: Scaled Toughness

Viserys casts Celerity followed by Time Stop.
--[X] Once he recovers from being Stunned by Celerity, Viserys casts Assay Spell Resistance, assumes True Dragon form, then waits for the Time Stop to end.
And may I just note, how wonderful this particular cheese is.
Likely to fuck us over at some point in time, but simply doing wonders for action-economy.

Cudos, @Goldfish.

Timestop is truly unmatched in bullshit for casters, no WIsh or Miracle can really compare.

You do realize that he's being very rapidly shaped by his worshippers, right? He's not just a random slavery god anymore since slavery is being wiped out.

I would only be sure of that particular aspect once we truly deal with all the slavery in Essos.

Which we are far from being done, let's be real here.

And even then, I'd like to take about a year at the very least for all the teachings to set in throughly and schisms to be steamrolled by ones we support.

Gods still take time to change, after all.

Sure, but this knee-jerk reaction of R'hllor being the worst thing ever is zero help.

So I have a small request from you guys, did anyone happen to save Zherys' pic? The site I used to save it on originally for the forum is dead and I can't find it in my image folder, I think it must have gotten deleted somehow. Otherwise I have to go hunting through practically all my pathfinder books since that is all I reember about the source (some kind of canon pathfinder material, maybe an Azlanti mage).
