Well, that was sufficiently epic.
Thanks for this chapter, DP. I really liked the slight dichtomy between Amy and Relath, and everyone else seems reacting realistically enough to the revelation.

We also chose a somewhat uneventful time to revel the truths to the rest of Imperium.
Yes, a fight with Tiamat's forces is coming nearer, and by the 12th month's beginning it'll likely already happen - but at least everyone will ahve about a month to come to terms with this shite.

Haha, yeah, the bit with the Dragons was funny.

Relath: "Of course, I learned basic care and feeding of mortal minions in wyrmling school."

Amrelath: "Red Dragon wyrmling school focused heavily on the classics, primarily killing, napping in style, and princess wrangling."

OOC note, my fridge's water valve broke and apparently it's been spewing water onto my kitchen for a few hours. Kitchen is soaked, and the basement below is soaked. Does anyone have any tips on how to avoid mold?
If you don't already have one, go to Wal-Mart or wherever else is convenient and buy a good dehumidifier. Just leave it running in the basement until it's bone dry. After the freestanding water is dealt with, of course.

Increase surface acidity through use of vinegar.

Obviously, you want to do this after drying the place, but the timescale you're working with, it would have to be flooded for weeks untreated before that would be an issue.

Remember that concrete and wood is porous, though. Just because you drain the water doesn't mean a lot of it isn't still there.

Thanks for the tips. On my way out to get vinegar and a dehumidifier and hopefully save myself from having to rip out all the drywall.

Though I wonder if the above actually has enough substance for an update. What are we going to do with him?
Figure out if he's more reasonable than Lucan. If so talk no jutsu him.

You know what, yes, that is worthy of an update on its own.

Like what the fuck did you think that would do to us? You thought we were going to stand close enough to you that you could hit us with your swords?!?

"Let me introduce to you the King of Battle."

Chosen of the Smith, with a scoff: "Yourself?"

"No, he's over on that hill a kilometer and a half away from here. Take a closer look."

Chosen, looking through Myrish spyglass he was handed: "What the fu--"

Hello Chosen.

Goodbye, red smear on the ground.

If I recall correctly he's a fairly young child. Albeit one much in love with artifice. Perhaps bring Lya or Jazirian?

I just found Maugan Ra's latest quest. Mechanically, it's the absolute opposite of this quest : it goes "No stats. You are Angron: if you can reach it, you can kill it. Maybe I'll bother with sheets for your army, but it probably won't even be necessary".

I prefer this system of course, but it's amazingly ballsy to run a "OP monster-King" quest without any actual mechanics.

Xor's character sheet is updated with his last level up.
Can you include his new spell load out as well? He didn't get a new level of spells, but he picked up several new spell slots.

Beholder of Wonders Spells Prepared:
Level 0 [6/day]: Detect Magic, Ghostharp, Mage Hand, Mending, Prestidigitation, Read Magic
Level 1 [5+2/day]: Amplify, Cure Light Wounds, Instant of Power, Mage Armor, Nerveskitter, Shield
Level 2 [4+2/day]: False Life, Glitterdust, Harmonic Chorus, Invisibility, Mirror Image, Scintillating Scales
Level 3 [4+1/day]: Air of Nobility, Alter Fortune, Arcane Concordance, Dispel Magic, Force PunchOS

-[X] In the interest of knowing just how vulnerable we are to this and other threats, propose the creation of an Imperial census, that we may know which gods are followed and how we may extend their reach. In addition to other information that might further benefit the empire
-[X] Hear their proposals and their estimations of costs and time requiered.

we have all of them here already, might as well discuss other matters of import.

If you're Angron, and you've run into something that can give you trouble (that isn't a Titan, basically), you're already fucked beyond all recognition and should probably have read some inferences that you probably shouldn't tried punching [that thing] in the face.

And given the kind of setting, the character, and the circumstances behind both, quite literally punching every problem in the face is what you are likely to end up doing, so basically a horrible Bad End is impossible to avoid barring extenuating circumstances. :V

It's just a matter of 'when'.

DP ruled on this already. The Inquisition keeps active files on all religions in the Imperium, so all we'd have to do is look at the files.

It's been a while, but it's good that he's catching up now. :) Hopefully Maelor gets the same treatment with his City of Brass scheme.

... By the way @DragonParadox, did we get the XP gain for Maelor's heist against that one shady merchant?

No, you did not, you also did not get the loot. I was thinking of what interlude to do today and drawing a blank, thanks for reminding me of that plot thread.

It's the equivalent. Absolutely every religion is closely monitored for potential cults. We've got the information already, this is redundant.
I don't want information on the religions, I want a list of how many of our subject follow each one, so we know how to tailor festivals and other events for recruitment, eventually we want to make sure everyone is listed in an approved religion.
We could also use the information on demographics, ages, health, etc.
Census are useful.

Yesssssssss...

I'm so excited to see what slaves were in stock.
He was not primarily a slavetrader though.

As far as I understood in the interlude he had mostly crap in his shop, getting the good stuff only on commission, so what he might have is propably truly random, depending on what people ordered lately.

His personal loot should be decent though.
