Good call.Polar Ray launchers for massive excessive ice damage. Also @DragonParadox did our mage have any ritual spells in his noggin?
@DragonParadox, can we get a list of the rituals and spells the Efreeti Mage knew?

Hmm that is fair. In that case would a bio-construct with a Baleful Polymorph SLA be better then? With items it is hard to increase DC saves but with bio-constructs it would be easier no?
@DragonParadox
Could you give us the Asurenda's loot and if anything else amond the expedition was notable that too?
I'd honestly love to know how he did his skull trick. Will do.
He is not really a ritual caster so he only knew two, the one that gave him his skull trick and the one that made the maze of horror, but sure I'll cover those.
Unfortunately it involves practices that would make your more even Malarys and Zherys recoil in disgust. It involves the sacrifice of his Ifrit children bred specifically for the task.
AlsoThat's not the only problem. The problem is the Seven and the Old Gods have millennia of bad blood between them thanks to the Andals brutally invading Westeros, chopping down weirwoods, slaughtering Children of the Forest wherever they found them, etc. And the Old Gods retaliated in kind, and the Seven aren't exactly thrilled about blood magic.
There are bigger concerns, and it would be ideal if they just came to an accord, but it's not as simple as the Seven acknowledging that they're not as supreme as they like to preach.
Edit:
@One Autumn Leaf did we book him? If so good. Keep him that way forever.
I didn't plan on doing the skull trick, it was mainly for my own curiosity. I'll be satisfied so long as we walk away with the knowledge.Unfortunately it involves practices that would make even Malarys and Zherys recoil in disgust. Not a stupid idea at all, dude, but playing extraplanar police is a bit ambitious, even for us. Even supplying the replacement Inevitables would be a huge undertaking, probably on par with creating the Imperial quasi-deity, and it would paint a massive target on our back. Right now we have lots of powerful enemies, but this would get us all of them.So I have this stupid idea that I can't get out of my head I wanted to get the threads opinion on, just so it'll leave me alone.
The inevitable forge is busted right? There are no natural order police running around and axis(?) presumably can't replace the facility or repair it.
We have both war forged and the ability to toss up new fungus forces with help from the old gods. Could we design biomechanical constructs that fill the role of inevitable law enforcement, then go to the organization that fielded them and negotiate to become their new provider?
We could set up a deal in which we own and operate the forge in exchange for the HD required to build the constructs they want plus some percentage for our own use. We'd get exotic creatures to draw templates from, HD to build things, and influence over extraplanar law enforcement. If we can build a shit ton of them and get them up to max capacity we could become really important in the grand scheme of things. That kind of influence allows for a lot of opportunities.
Bonus; the sheer scope of the problems facing the cosmos and hunt now means they'll likely get shipped to the true problem zones in the outer planes. It'd directly help with that problem, and we wouldn't have to deal with them messing with us.
We can probably do it once Lya is at MR 10, but it would have to be after the Efreeti are dealt with. I don't see us getting anywhere close to this until our two major allies are freed up and ready to back us up in different fights. Not a stupid idea at all, dude, but playing extraplanar police is a bit ambitious, even for us. In the relatively short term, I would like to get a chance for our people to study the remains of the Inevitable Forge. If it could have been repaired, it would have been done at some point in the past several thousand years, so I don't have any hope of doing it ourselves. We could learn more about mass production of Constructs, however, or even just glean some insights that would help us improve our own.
Well...that's impressively horrific...Unfortunately it involves practices that would make even Malarys and Zherys recoil in disgust. It involves the sacrifice of his Ifrit children bred specifically for the task.
Some sort of small, unthinking, construct or bio-construct could perhaps serve as a platform, yes. Though other things are currently slated to be researched. Perhaps write up an action and tag @egoo?
A Lya task to rip out ideas and come up with something more acceptable. And easier to use.Unfortunately it involves practices that would make even Malarys and Zherys recoil in disgust. It involves the sacrifice of his Ifrit children bred specifically for the task.

He is trying too hard to be evil.
I mean, half-genie children take a lot of time to grow up to be usable in rituals. This is stupid evil.
He is immortal, and he can probably just use Bestow Curse to instantly make them an age category or two older. Then he kills them and their skull is the right size.He is trying too hard to be evil.

Depends, would I be able to use magic/supernatural tricks in canon ASOIAF?We have had a lot of insertion questions and challenges in this thread. Now for a meta one !
Would you prefer to be inserted into ASWAH or in ASOIaF ? Why ?
In either case the insertion happens as the corresponding canon starts, in a place of your choosing. You are inserted as a human with 10 class levels, with the usual ROB requirements of no gear, no infinite loops, and no wildly broken PrCs (Illithid Savant, Dweomerkeeper, the custom ones in this quest...).
Mmmm. ASWAH full stop. So much to learn! So much to see! So much meddling to do!We have had a lot of insertion questions and challenges in this thread. Now for a meta one !

*zxzx24 appears in WesterosAssuming I am able to walk a whole 5 miles without him killing me anyway.
I'm really not sure, on one hand ASOIaF seem safer in the short term, on the other even if I choose a way to immortality, I suspect that someday even if it's in millions of years I will die, and I know nothing about ASOIaFs afterlives, on the other hand, ASWAH is harder to survive in, and getting into the nice afterlives aren't that simple. We have had a lot of insertion questions and challenges in this thread.
