1. The gp to IM translation is /5 not /10. The divide by 10 came about because you guys were crafting most of your own items which further halved the price
  2. Don't forget psionic items also cost 70% more hence the *1.7
  3. I'm going with imperfect magic/psionic trnasparency to reinforge the alien nature of Far Realm Power. Powers are better at countering powers and spells at countering spells
Ah, I see. Was just using the regular formula without thinking.

If we just commission Psionic Tattoos like I mentioned above, they would be much faster to craft, cheaper, and potentially useful to all of our people.

Hmm... I'm going to say you can, but having psionic power literally woven into your flesh and blood interferes with arcane and divine casting (and makes you register as Far Realm touched to certain detection magics). Each tattoo gives a spell failure chance equal to its Power level so for a 6th level power that is 6% spell failiure whille the bearer wears the tattoo.

I always love Mereth interactions.
All the Furies are so used to their former abusive relationships with Baator than when someone genuinely cares for them they simply go through a mental fart. Awesome.

You did notice that's a pre-stage to being absorbed, yes?
In some cases it is, in other cases it isn't, we will certainly agree to absorb the Djinn or the Shaitan if they offer, but outside of that eventuality, we aren't going to be pressing the issue, so while if she made herself a Queendom and allied with us, we would certainly be trying to convince her to join us, we wouldn't press the issue if she said no.(provided she build her Queendom outside Planetos)

While we will always be trying to convince our allies to join us, we use the carrot exclusively with non-planetos allies, so provided she don't decide one of our offers are worth giving up her independence, her realm can stay independent forever, and if she decide our offer is worth joining us, then that means, she has decided she's okay not being supreme ruler of her domain.

So basically as long as she don't go to war with us, or become someone our principles tell us to go to war with, she can stay independent indefinitely by refusing our offers.

@Goldfish So fine for non-casters, otherwise you need Spell Failure decreasing enhancements woven other equipment to counteract this effect.

I am quite sad the Braavos vs Pentos battle (Seacheesebowl?) Was not interrupted by the Squids, of course I would have expected something not quite to the extend of Azel's Omake (which I don't think he would have gone with either).
The victory just does not feel earned now that I've seen what could have been.

Edit: I am sorry if this brings up old feelings, they are not old for me.

Well TBH a Squid Interrupt would instantly turn it from a matter of conquering Pentos, into "Monsters are the only thing relevant in the world anymore" which makes it a complete wonder of wonders for why the entirety of Western Essos hasn't surrendered by this point.

TBF though Pentos rolled over the second their fleet lost and didn't try resisting meaningfully, so maybe we're at that point now. I do expect most of the Lannister "loyalists" to surrender unless they're under enchantment the moment it's confirmed they've lost the capital, for example. King's Landing was such a strong symbol of legitimacy in WoFK that pretty much everyone except Robb who had other concerns was trying to capture it and expected to just instantly win the war the moment they did.

Well, that is quite already the state of affairs is it not? Some people just don't realize it yet, but our plans are made with that in mind.

I would not expect quite the same level of offensive, if anything we have learned that our plane is just a side job for the illithid, whose main concern is the war on the upper planes, so they might not have the ability to devote so many forces for a small incursion without compromising their own holds.
But an expeditionary force of skum and sahuaguin directed by a few heavy hitters looking to capture high value targets and as many prisoners as possible would have been nice.
It would even be a bit of a political/moral decision for us, if they are mass capturing people, but not directly acting against us, do we break the truce to stop them?

Here's what I have so far. Nothing major, but some useful stuff.

The gloves are cheap and just generally useful in various situations. If nothing else, they're good for the Inquisition. The Psionatrix is for Jeyne. It's not too expensive, but will help her a lot.

And since DP has ruled that there is virtually no interaction between Magic and Psionics, a Detect Magic spell won't do us any good to even find when psionics are in use. The masks can be distributed as we see fit, between ourselves and the Companions, allies, Inquisition agents, etc.

These are just the tattoos I thought would be useful. If they inhibit spellcasting, we won't be using them much on any of our casters, but there are others who could get some use out of them, such as Sandor and Sharra. Ya'll see any other Psionic powers we might want, I'll add them in. Keep in mind, however, that anything which affects an enemy will have an extremely low save DC, making it nearly useless, and that most effects can be duplicated just as easily, not to mention more cheaply, using magic.

In all honesty human enemies kinda aren't important anymore. Every human enemy we have is either backed by the power of a god or is only alive because we have a thousand better things to do.

Knowing that they have important battle fronts in Hellven and other Planes, we might want to arrange a diversionary attack on one or more of those locations to coincide with our assault on their Planetosi assets.

Of course, whoever got the faceless mook cloning machines got the world :V
You fool, the machine is outside Kings landing, at least the dothraki horde and unsullied version.

King's landing has the Pirates Blight trait, -5 to all naval units in the area, and vulnerability to fire.

Edit: and now I kinda want an Asoiaf 4X game where every city has different bonuses around it, and unique units.

So are we just going to get Spell Failure enhancements to counteract the effects of Tattoos? Or exclusively apply them to non-casters?

I would simply apply them to non-casters. Getting anti-ASF enchantments seems like a cheap work around that @DragonParadox would probably veto, and I'm not a fan myself.

Sandor will get some use out of them, along with others, such as the Windward Bros and Sharra.

I wonder if the Erinyes are considering building one of the enclave/child raising facilities here. We've actually gotten quite a few numbers already.

Fuck, I just realized that "The Turtler" would be "El Tortugador" in Spanish, while "Torturer" would be "Torturador", so we could have called it "Turtler's deep" and I can't believe we missed that chance.

Can I reserve the name for our next outpost?

I need to start thinking more names in Spanish.

And so we get things like:

"El Fideo" Mammon, that seems like the name of soccer player.

Omake: Lessons on Etymology
Lessons on Etymology

As all young children, Nemyro Arianys had a natural dislike of the long learning sessions noble scions were expected to take in the realm, except of course when the lessons strayed from economics and biology and into the more fantastic tales of magic and battles that had forged The Empire from the barbaric tribes that had inhabited the coasts of the narrow sea.

"But Maester Arnold" he asked his teacher, who had arrived from the New Andalos citadel with a full chain in Sacred Bronze for pedagogy, "The visiondisk said that the place was called Torturer's deep, are you sure there really are no ghosts under the palace?"

The kindly old man smiled, in a way that Nemyro had learned meant that he was preparing for a story, he hurriedly grabbed one of the cushions and took a more comfortable position to wait for the story.

"I assure you little Lord, that should any ghost from those times remain it has already signed with the scholarium and has no intention of harming you or any of your friends, in the hypothetical scenario that you and your friends should sneak into the caves instead of following the tour, which being law abiding citizens you won't of course"

They changed knowing smiles, exploring the caves and other hidden places of the Deep was a well loved pastime, with even rumors of being encouraged by the King, which made sense by the sheer amount of little "treasures" hidden away, that suspiciously the city never seemed to run out of.

"But more so, the name is actually a bit of a misnomer, scholarship was only really taking off in those days, and the pirates and brigands that lives on these islands were far from the most erudite, the Warrior-Poets of House Saan living on a nearby island"

"The names actually comes from the Old Valyrian "Torugya", meaning "Place of the Turtle Catchers", by way of Westerosi common the word was confused with "Torugia", the language does not have the proper sound for Valyrian "¥" you see, and being the home of lowlifes they readily accepted this meaning as being "cooler" and "edgier", as crass as it might sound to us nowadays"

"It is from this true, ancient meaning that Emperor Viserys took one of his most infamous titles, The Turtler, now sadly fallen out of use since the Treaty of the Spheres, which ceded control of the higher Spheres to the Imperium in exchange for a cease of hostilities and the banning of the practice of Turtling, and now the word has come to mean "Boogeyman" in many of the fiendish tongues"

"It is also from this meaning that house ShieldBrook took their words, "Our Shells are Shiny", both in homage to their ancestral adamantine shields, and their practice of gifting..."
