Unless you're there to eat what you kill, dead is dead. Although in this case its more about containment procedures, which was never on the table regardless of the approach Ling Qi took.

You say "Edgy consequentialism", but I say "common sense", or perhaps "Self evident stuff". Engaging in whataboutisms is pointless, though. Lord knows that people hate to admit to being wrong, even in hindsight.

While Qingge can also read for her littlest daughter, guaranteeing her security while on a trip outside is perhaps something only Ling Qi can guarantee right now... better to do what only we can .

biyu seems more likely to be a more physically focused cultivator, though it's a bit early to tell

How can we not encourage her to read.
