Also, the Oblivion is already trying to fuck shit up at any cost. It's been trying to escape for millennia. Defeating its puppet isn't exactly going to change that.
I expect it to try to self-destruct out of spite now, likely causing serious damage to facility.

It had 'hope' before, for what is time to something like it..?
WIth us taking General out, it wouldn't.

Also, the golems would be near-useless agaisnt it.

And it would do this how? There's legitimate worry and then there's letting paranoia simply take off.

No, the hope would continue, because its prison is drastically weakened. It's giving its all as we speak. Even if we deal with the general it wouldn't suddenly go "all hope is lost!" It would just continue struggling against the prison, like it's been doing for the last few centuries.
Also, the golems would be near-useless agaisnt it.
Useless in damaging it, perhaps, but they can tank at least a few attacks.

@egoo, you're worried about self-destruction out of spite, but that's simply not how this Oblivion will react.

1. We're not walking away without dealing with it permanently one way or another. It's probably guessed as much.
2. It is keenly aware of how weak its prison is now.
3. I'm pretty sure it thinks it can beat us. Even if it had the ability to simply end itself on a whim, it wouldn't. It's endured for centuries in this state, it wouldn't randomly give up just because we showed up. This thing isn't some Lannister mage pissing his pants.

Oof. Cleared this with DP a while ago, yet forgot to put with the rest of destinations >_<
Adding the following to Adventuring Locations:
[] A Fire, snuffed out: With Volantis having sworn to you, perhaps it's time to openly close down a threat that persisted in the city ever since your first visit. Break into Ymeri's mansion, and clear out all of her remaining influence - with the mansion itself, if needed.

By the way, if anyone has any more adventuring-avaliable locations we heard of IC, I'm all ears.
I but went through the 3 Inquisitorial Reports we had, and that talk about Fey of Reach with... Garth, I think, while looking at Map of North on main page.

Just like I barely remembered about that infestation near Xorn's trade-route, and wit hYmeri now, I could have forgotten something else.

TLDR: Please try and remember if there were any other threats/sites I didn't add, @everyone.

Later on, could voluntarily hire some of our Doom Legions out to serve in the Blood War. Coin, prestige, experience battling hated foes.

Even have a point of contact for it, in Hellven.

I agree, but it's that or no third update if we do not have the votes which it looks like we do not right now.
@DragonParadox, six votes now. The plan probably isn't changing at this stage.
Preliminary plan. Should Richard engage the General or continue to deal with the Serpent Constructs?

[X] Plan Snakes....on a Plane of Balance!
-[X] Vee sets her Elementals to engage the Serpent Constructs, then casts Heal on Malarys.
-[X] Malarys hits the General with a Quickened Targeted Greater Dispel Magic spell.
-[X] Dany targets the General with a Close Wounds spell, followed by a Barbed Chains spell, with each chain attempting to make a Trip attack against him.
-[X] Lya targets the General with a Chains of Light spell.
-[X] Viserys casts a Quickened Searing Agonizing Elemental Fire Darts spell at the General using the Blackened Rod, then target him and the Serpent Constructs with a Searing Firebrand spell.
@Goldfish, no Apparent Master to gain control of the constructs?

We could, but we would loose lots of people for relativly little success.

Remember, while our legions are great for mortals, they are low-tier scrub for Outsiders.
Now Viserys and Companions, those are mercenaries worth their money even in the Bloodwar.

Sorry, y'all. Super busy at work.

I included Close Wounds mistakenly, because I thought the Oblivion's servants shared it's Regeneration. The Close Wounds was to shut the General's Regeneration down this round.

Editing the chapter now.

Plan updated. Do y'all think we should send Richard against the General and leave the Constructs to the Elementals for now?
