For low levels of extra I'd go with unchained monk, he' get a fair few bonus feats and an extra attack on full attack at level one, and if he somehow got to UMonk 5 he'd have what amounts to a low-end pounce by taking flying kick. More to the point, just by being a golem he has martial style stats and options, best to capitalize on those rather than try to slap on an entirely different host of choices.

Hmmm...would a Monk Golem with Deflect Arrows be able to pull a Kung Fu Panda and deflect Ballista shots or shots from stuff like our Steam Cannons?

Monk would be nice. With its general (not complete) magical immunity it could annihilate most mages in its way and would be perfect for non lethal takedowns of creatures.

We: The best way to level him is through danger, yes? Send him to combat!
*Level 1 Archivist goes in a battle*
*casts Fist*
*Levelling ensues*
:V

For real though, I wouldn't expect him to ever grow beyond initial 5 levels, really.
Too much XP needed for that with it's CR.
So... @Crake, waht'd be more empowering with only low levels?
Monk or a "name-a-caster-class*?
:/

EDIT: One Autumn Leaf'd
Unchained Monk, just like Ting, would be the best option for it by far. If it can only ever have a single level, one level of Unchained Monk should definitely be it, IMO.
Flurry of Blows
At 1st level, a monk can make a flurry of blows as a full-attack action. When making a flurry of blows, the monk can make one additional attack at his highest base attack bonus. This additional attack stacks with the bonus attacks from haste and other similar effects. When using this ability, the monk can make these attacks with any combination of his unarmed strikes and weapons that have the monk special weapon quality. He takes no penalty for using multiple weapons when making a flurry of blows, but he does not gain any additional attacks beyond what's already granted by the flurry for doing so. (He can still gain additional attacks from a high base attack bonus, from this ability, and from haste and similar effects).
Bask in the glory that is a Huge-sized Adamantine Golem which inflicts 6d10+13 per strike using Flurry of Blows. Before we add any gear, the attacks would look like this: +41/+41/+36/+31/+26/+21/+16

And it would be a great opportunity for Ting to teach such a student, eh, @Crake?

"I bequeath upon you the courtesy name: Meteor Fist."

Ting: You must snatch this grasshopper from my palm without harming it.

Golem: Yes, Master. <SNATCH>

Ting: ...Healer!

Golem: Ah, my apologies, Master. I don't quite seem to have this maneuver mastered. Do human arms take long to grow back?

Ting: ...yes... :???:

No, it is an option. I was just pointing out that there is only one bonus feat, not four.
Nah, four feats at lvl1. One of which is a Bonus Feat that you can pick from the list. Think I just worded it poorly.

Anyway I'd say Deflect Arrows just to swat cannonball or Throw Anything to pull a Garp. Any of the others offer any joke levels of effect?

Hmmm, would Catch Offguard technically let him club a monster with another monster and not take any damage reductions? Or would it just be too impractical trying to find a monster harder than his Adamantium Fists?

Ah, I see what you mean. Flurry of Blows isn't a feat, but the point stands. First level would be very nice for him, as opposed to any caster class, which would be garbage in comparison.

Okay so third level with Ki strike it says that once you hit 16th level it treats attack as if it were adamantine weapons...but the golem is made of adamantine so how does that work?

@egoo Ready to capture the Uniila? Here's your write-up, with a slight addition for additional overkill.

[X] Summon the independent Artificer Uniila that acted against you on many an occasion, in revenge for taking her sister captive and bound by powerful magics.
-[X] Apply divination beforehand on a very minor chance she doesn't have a Mindblank.

--[X] If she doesn't, plan around the fact accordingly (more Divination).
-[X] Summon in Snare, with all Companions available present - utilizing Rings of Spell-Battle to maximum Counterspelling effect, while bombarding with all spells capable of non-lethal takedown.
--[X] Apply additional precautions, like setting a carefully arranged Refusal spell upon the Snare chamber and layering Ghoul Glyphs as closely within the Summoning Circle as possible.
--[X] Have the entirety of the cage surrounding the summoning circle covered in Hardened stone - rendering the metal beneath it immune to effects that would otherwise instantly corrode or melt through it, like the blood of the Fiends you fought over the Mercury Lake.

--[X] Also make sure to be ready to act against any effects that may block line of sight - like a smoke bomb, for example.
---[X] Have the casting Companions circled around the Snare's summoning circle, so as to ensure more easily keeping her under fire even if she somehow leaves the circle; or puts up a LoS-blocking effect.
---[X] Have the melee Companions spread out around the room in a fashion that would impede Uniila from running in any direction if she manages to escape the circle and the cage- have a Companion capable of intercepting and swording her in moving distance, ideally also intercrossing each-other's segments of the room, so that they could attack from several angles.

If he ever gets to lvl 16 you can just assume his hits work the same way Asura's do and just break mountain sized meteors. Given everything else that that would be stacked on him at that point not to mention that man Ki Charges for extra hits.

...it then counts as Obdurium weapons? :V
This incredibly rare and hard metal represents the pinnacle of nonmagical metal. Treat weapons and armor crafted from obdurium as adamantine, except for hardness (30), hit points (60 per inch of thickness, or twice as many hit points as a typical item), and price (twice the listed price for adamantine).
HP: 60 per inch of thickness; Break DC: 48 + 4 per inch of thickness.

I am always ready.

[X] Goldfish

@Everyone just to be clear:

This Uniila is the sister to the one we bookified.
She's a free crafter somewhere in Hells.
And she's the author of the "bullshit scrying beacon" we barely managed to find on that knight during the Tourney, and "Bullshit AMF-escape method" for that Brachina.

So, she's hellishly (heh) experienced, resourceful, and with a huge grudge against us.

We do know her True Name, though.
So, at the very least, another book, this time with secret lore of Devil Artificery, is coming up.

But for now, while we don't have the relevant scroll?
We'll be taking her out of "Us vs Mammon"-equation.
And that seems vey prudent seeing just... how much she has on her hands to screw us over with.
