Lingqui Gugard, the horrifying eldritch menace from beyond the seven hells.
We must name our son Gugard. Is that even vaguely Chinese?

How many troops is this splitting off?

The split works best, means that if the bandits we just chased away reform they cannot hit us same if any of the other bandit cav pulls away.

Lessens the impact of the charge tho; I'd rather we just smash everything we have in their flank.

75 is too many to leave out. I'd almost rather take that split and hit their flank and then have half wrap a little around and hit them on the rear of their flank, maybe cause a little more shock.

Thinking about it I'd rather we try to guarantee a rout.

To press the point further, we've got superior cavalry, better in training, morale, and equipment. I'm not terribly worried about bandits on horses. What I am worried about is if our center will hold. We need to make sure they hold, and there is nothing better for doing that than hit and run charges on their rear and flanks.

The thing with charging into bulk of enemy is that we have room to move out and rebuilt momentum.

We will be fighting again before this rider will be back and I doubt he will find us in the enemy´s ranks. This would only makes sense if we would vote for waiting. I think we will see it before we would get a satisfying answer from any messenger.
Yea it won't help us right now, but if we send someone - a single rider - there's a chance we'd get an update of the overall situation at the end of the next update when we need to make our next choice. Always worth considering forward planning.
