It's great to see the "he has no idea who he's really dealing with" from this perspective, without Viserys even being involved.

And by the way, will all our pseudo-adventuring groups be payed in loot ? It's a terrible precedent to set, and not just because of the risk of cursed items. IMO it would be better to pay them a fixed amount + bonuses for good loot. There's a reason why today's armies and spies aren't meant to be looting anymore.
Still, Amrelath is a Red Dragon and he'll be offplane in a few years. I'm willing to make an exception for him.

EDIT: Is Amrelath here as our agent (because we sent him there), or as a citizen of our realm having some fun in his free time?

[X] Plan Draconic Rumormonger
-[X] Follow Tobyn's suggestion using the same identity we concocted to introduce ourselves to Archmaester Ryan.
--[X] After hopefully arranging a meeting with the elusive Archmaester, attempt to learn what rumors are circulating through the city, not simply those relating to Marwyn, though with special attention to anything relatiing to Septa Maer. Her new mission may have started making waves, at least among the clergy, and it would be to our advantage to know how she is being received.
-[X] Take steps to start a rumor among the clergy of Oldtown, and the other influential elite, that Brother Lucan has plans to use his indentured mages and cruelly bound Angels to seize power during the Conclave, deposing the other leaders among the Faith to name himself High Septon. Variations on the rumor should include that he plans to reinstate the Faith Militant in order to launch a holy war, with multiple possible targets, including the Reach Fey, the Dragon of the East, and even the Iron Throne and the King of Westeros.
--[X] To insure maximum impact, target locations where the clergy gather but also intermixed with the lay folk. If she is available, ask Tyene to assist with the rumor mongering. Make use of subtler magics, those which can convince others without enchanting them (social spells, buffs such as Grand Destiny, etc).
-[X] Since Lucan should have a firm assumption that we are currently in Oldtown, use Divination spells to learn who he has told of this, if anyone, as well as keeping an ear out for non-related rumors that we are in the city. Check semi-regularly, at least on a daily basis, to learn who else he has told, or at least to get an idea of how far the knowledge has spread.
--[X] Daily Divinations should include checking for unexpected trouble to arise which cannot be directly attributed to Lucan or others protected by Mind Blank.

He is there as your agent and everyone gets paid in money in principle, though Amrelath may ask for some loot simple because he is dragon and stuff he bled for has higher sentiemtal value as part of a hoard

In Most Uncommon Company
"Done," Sykes spat in his palm with Mors hurrying to take it before he made the mistake of thrusting it at Lord Amrelath.

OOC: Not the longest and no pay-off yet simply because it is way too late to roll, but hopefully it gives some insight into how Amrelath and company are interacting as well as a brief look at the Lads. Sykes being as insanely brave as ever decided to try for that Seaguard base you guys asked for as 'nice to have'.

"Lord Amrelath".

Is it the teeth? Or is Viserys just so much more affable? Because Mors has completely different tone when he thinks of Viserys and when he thinks of Amrelath. :V

Amrelath going by stats alone is fairly "charismatic", though I guess you could fluff that as just being physically attractive or really knowing how to make someone feel important (because if you're worth Amrelath's time then you must be important :V)

When faced with lesser beings, Amrelath generally only uses his Charisma to Intimidate.

But when faced with high-level Outsider, he should be absolutely capable of pulling a Relath and going full charmer. An odd and intense kind of charm, but charm nonetheless.

"Fire and smoke, smoke and fire, which came first and which came last?" Mordys said in a vaguely sing-song voice, mostly ignored by his companions though drawing disquiet looks from the band.
I think Mordys would make a good Court Jester for Amrelath when he sets up shop in the Plane of Fire. He won't be the funny sort of clownish Jester, but more like Pennywise...

In the case of a typical Red Dragon, Charisma is probably better interpreted as sheer unrefined force of personality, not the more nuanced Charisma of a seasoned Diplomancer.

When we start talking at the Faith meeting we gonna stay in disguise and be at a location so people can approach us right?

We've already arranged things so that Dywen not only has an invite to attend, but to speak before the gathered clergy. He'll almost certainly be our main persona during the Conclave. If we use any others will depend on how events play out. I wouldn't mind Vraithe the Red Priestess making an appearance, but we probably shouldn't show up as Viserys unless shit really hits the fan and we need to put Lucan down hard.

Talking about the entire time so people can approach us and if people decide to spy on us while disguised. Basically if we just disappear people might get suspicious. Let's be honest people will get curious after we start talking. Might get opportunities from people wanting to talk to us while disguised.

Honestly, I think that depends on how things go down, and who he says his primary target is. I would prefer that Danelle survive this, along with the leaders of the primary opposition groups. Killing a Chosen of the Seven in the halls of a Sept is probably the sort of thing that could trigger a Fall, but from what we've seen of her...I'm unsure if it would be worth it. Especially when the Father just might not give a damn.

I'm sure we'll be making ourselves available for mingling and discourse during the Conclave, as Dywen of course.

That doesn't mean we'll be spending all our time as Dywen 24/7 for the full seven days of the Conclave.

A good part of it though right? The players at play will be looking at the guy that talks great I'm sure. That means spies. People wanting to bribe us. To see if they can get something out of us. Turn us. See if we can be allies. A surprise Danelle talk. Need to at least have a way for people to believe Dywen is asleep at night.

The thing about Dywen is that he's already accompanied miracles and travelled to far reaches of Westeros by Teleport, even if they don't know he was teleporting it may already be noted that he has the capability for similar outcomes.

He's not a normal begging brother so we don't need to pretend Dywen isn't mysterious and it's okay if the spies lose his trail, as long as they don't find it again in the wrong place.
