[X] Duesal

Once again. Lovely, lovely people these septons.

Wasted on the gods are they. :V

Maybe we could pay people to dress up in fancy outfits and spew propaganda 24/7?

[X] Duesal

I thought the Seven had a problem with Kin-slaying, or at the very least murder for political advancement.

Tsk tsk tsk, for shame.

Here you go, @Duesal.

[X] Plan Sneaky Heretic
-[X] First and foremost, scry Ser Garth and see where he is as well as who he's meeting with.
--[X] Continue having him monitored so you can immediately rescue him if necessary.
-[X] Do some cursory work and check on the septon's sympathies, see if you can find out who he's in communication with.
--[X] After finding out what you can, go meet with Lord Hightower and bring up these suspicions. If necessary, deflect blame from Lynesse by pointing out you have been investigating Lucan quite heavily.
-[X] In the meantime, contact Yrael, and ask that he and a few Archons go to Whitehead Keep and publicly (and safely, no unnecessary risks) free Septon Dondar. That man is one whose preaching will lead to a land of more tolerance and peace, he must survive. His chances will be greater if he is seen to have divine blessings.
--[X] They don't need to talk if the questions asked are awkward. Their only goal is to be seen while freeing Septon Dondar.
--[X] Send Dany with them to serve as the mouthpiece if needed as well as to fight with them should any surprises pop up. She will bring whatever reinforcements she seems necessary.
--[X] They are to be backed by Yss divinations to make sure that no nasty surprises are waiting for them.
--[X] After rescuing Septon Dondar, Dany is to arrange his transport to Oldtown to the Conclave (preferably without hinting at our identities) so that he is able to meet with the Begging Brother Dywen.

Speaking of Yss I would point out that the day of feeding will soon be upon us and we need to recharge our staff... and our Larder is... empty. We should do a quick hunt down to feed Yss if we want to get those divinations.

I read it yes, to be honest I think of it as just common sense that the GM should help keep an atmosphere in a quest from becoming toxic, not that that applies to this quest. We have had our disputes and issues but I think you could count the infractions in this quest on the fingers of one hand.
Ok, just wanted to make sure as like all ASOIAF quests this can get quite dark at times (as it should).

Any suggestions? I'm still waiting for the Deep Ones to start attacking in earnest. That aside, we have other options. There's hope from the Efreeti when we raid their Adamantine Convoy and get sacrifices there, but aside from that we don't have anything planned for this month.

Wait... @DragonParadox, what CR was N'grazit the Babau Champion? Is he enough to recharge the staff (in addition to getting a proper trophy out of him) or do we need more?

Can we also try to summon the Spellwarped Hezrou to add to the sacrifice if necessary?

As far as I can tell from the actual mod posts, and not the dozens and sores of wild speculation that attribute for both the mods and other players the worst of intentions, the only thing they are saying is do not promote blatant rule-breaking in your thread and if things get bad call out any offenders and report so that the mods know where the line is drawn and who to bring the hammer on. No one has as far as I can see called a ban any a style of storytelling or setting.

From the scenarios some people brought up in that thread you would think the mods were Skynet (both robots and actively malevolent :V )

I was honestly hoping to divine a location of a moderately powerful monster...or wait till after to capture a couple of monsters during the raid.

The main fears that I saw was stuff about genocide and dealing with religions. My fear has to do with some of the Planetosi religions being stand-ins for IRL ones.

The downside of being so effective at looting, the smarter bastards try to hide better.

It says something how we don't lack for enemies yet it's getting tougher and tougher to catch the little fuckers.

To the best of my knowledge no one in thread wants to pull a crusade on the heathens.

At the absolute worst all we want to do is break the backs of the more assholish gods and get them to toe the party line.

Well that and sacrifice them to our godly allies/eat them, but that's a victim-less crime really.
