Thing is, I would really like to ask more things. I find this deep Fey ecology interesting. From an investigatime mind. I don't like dealing with most of them. But I like the few ones I have.

Unfortunately, I don't know what to ask.

Maybe ask Glyra what would she have to do to put this Crimson Lotus into her court?

Still got to talk to the new lord Florent and get him in our service to have most of the southern Reach.

Also yeah Sealord interlude would be great.

[X] Ask more questions of the fey
-[X] How is your growth related to these stories you tell? For Glyra it's obvious that her "balancing the scales" makes her stronger, but for Moonsong it has ever been the story of her deeds, not the deed itself that advanced her power. and the Old Glyra grew via cannibalism, which has little to do with the mischief and bloody slapstick that was her daywork

Where exactly is the fucking pattern?

There is no pattern. They are fey. They are the more advanced form of aberrations, made to be able to semi-blend with our universe.

There is only madness at the bottom of this. Disguised as childhood stories, but waiting to drive you mad.
No.

There must be a logic. These are creatures of stories, and stories have to make some sense.
Usually even more than reality.

Here are the fights for the next round:
  1. Baelys of Dragonstone vs Aemon Naremos
  2. Anya of Sorcerer's Deep vs Valaena Velaryon
  3. Ceria Storm vs Moonsong
  4. Kerad Tarmin vs Mia Netcatcher
This should be fun.

I could do the next mage fight from the Sealord's PoV since those are transmitted live.It will include a wider political perspective to of course. Does that sound good guys?
I was actually thinking of something a bit broader in scale, although the Tourney and a fight could provide a good backdrop. Out of all the figures in Viserys' life, the Sealord must have the most fascinating picture of him, and I'd love to see his thoughts on ... everything, really.

No.

There must be a logic. These are creatures of stories, and stories have to make some sense.
Usually even more than reality.

The forced logic is madness.

Reality makes sense, but we are not seeing the whole picture. Fey stories are tailored so that they make sense when they shouldn't.

That's the akward thing of the fey. Forcing their story into reality. Stories make sense in the context they are told once. Fey try to shoehorn it into all the contexts. There should be no point in having a childish sense of justice like Glyra running around in our dictatorial empire. Yet it happens. The narrative sense is both kept, and lost, because they are not pertinent to their context any more, they are just a forced repetition.

  1. Baelys of Dragonstone vs Aemon Naremos
FEUER FREI!
No seriously, Aemon has two levels on him a lot more options, being a Wizard, but he is more crafter than fighter.
He will almost certainly have some form of protection from Fire and it either works and he wins, or it doesn't and he's toast.
Betting on Aemon for now, since Protection from Fire should be easily available.

Funny enough if he where level 10 as he originally was he would be immune to Fireballs from a special item, but due to his nerf he doesn't have it now.
  • Anya of Sorcerer's Deep vs Valaena Velaryon
There are people and fishes who know both of these sheets better than me to predict the outcome.
But definitly getting into some melee-magical fun.

  • Ceria Storm vs Moonsong
Yeah, likely ends with a hammer to Moonsongs face.
Maybe Ceria fails a vital save, but I doubt it.
  • Kerad Tarmin vs Mia Netcatcher
Either he melts her face off quickly or he goes down shortly after the failed attempt.
No guess here, really luck-dependant.

Just made this here after an argument about how Valyrian the Targ line is.

Answer: Not very.

The current batch of Targs is ethnically closer to Tyene then Zherys.
