My personal opinion on that is that she gets a anti-grav ship as soon as we have a spare one for her.

Moonsong is just too perfect a captain for the rickety prototype, but once we have shaken down the technology, we can design a purpose build raider for Asha to go reaving in the lower planes whenever she feels like it.
Just so long as she knows to give us the sacrifices and the skulls.

Also, we're enchanting the hold to make sure any bodies tossed inside stay fresh.

Remember to vote, people!

I'm not going to win this vote, but we should keep things moving if we can anyway.

Reminder that my vote is:
[X] "Any citizen of the realm who raises an illegitimate ruler to power and seeks to trick or enchant existing Lords into bargaining away their lands will face the Dragon's justice. They have enchanted forests. I have Dragonfire."
-[X] "Of course, any Fey who abides by the empire's laws is a citizen like any other."

But would your foes be content to stay within level guidelines?

At the end of the day the Starks are right Winter is Coming
Without having decided to take responsibility for the entire Material Plane we could actually avoid foes above our power.

Winter may be coming, but we don't have to be in a land or world that feels its touch.
It would be possible to still kill some Wightlords and do our part in saving the world without having to coordinate the entire fight against the Others.

Edit: though I admit that working towards the ability to harm Tiamat would take vastly longer.

Thread: Time for magitech wedding planning!

Meanwhile, we haven't even got a decent way to propose to Lya.
I'm still rooting for "wild extraplanar vistas" in the background, of course.
I for one still want to have a nice opera in SD's harbor during the festival and then finally propose to Lya. It's much more personal and intimate then the whole "wild planar vistas" thing, especially as we've been to many of those places by now and they tend to be either less spectacular then expected or outright shitholes.

Also, this isn't classical shipping, but looking into arranging a political marriage. If they generally like each other, they are set up far better then 95% of all noble marriages in Planetos.

That's... fair. I... Don't like calling people out, but that usually results in me tarring to wide.

I'll have to consider what I'm doing. Sorry.
This ain't a one-time thing, and it ain't just related to the Fae - although they're clearly some kinda trigger issue for you. A piece of advice in general: launching into extreme hyperbole, which seems to be your primary method of arguing, doesn't actually work. Accusing people of racism and claiming that the 'vast majority' of Fae are benign just makes you seem hysterical, especially when it's in response to egoo screeching over his latest obsession.

You are forgetting the boons. Like crafting budgets in the 6 digit range each month or the ability to call down aerial bombardments.
Those are just as much merchant boons, we could have just stuck to leading merchant fleets, and still been insanely wealthy, a nation is a good way to get such a budget, but it isn't the only way, and with such a budget you can buy the weapons, our nation is a great thing to have, but it's not the sole source of our income.

*rolls internal dice*

I would not be opposed to this.

Edit: Yes, I know it's a rather major shift in my stance, but I was mostly just not seeing the point in 'massive gesture' proposals. That's not the way I see the relationship between Viserys and Lya. This is just...personal. And that's what a proposal like this should be.

I have not forgotten about that play don't worry.

That's flatly impossible. With the sums and thus power we would have to wield to get the same amount of crafting budget, we would be basically a state without land.

@DragonParadox can Heart's Ease cure Alzheimer's?

Based on wiki it's obvious that Walgrave has it and someone could easily be using his position to push their plans, and Walgrave himself can't remember signing a certain paper or not. I'm sure they could use his key to access whole Citadel as well.

I'm confused why magic hasn't been used to cure him yet since surely maesters have it.

I always disliked Sam's dad you know cause Sam's a nice dud and his dads a dick. Lets take his dad to the trophy room and introduce some culture shock. ALL THE CULTURE SHOCK.

I'm imagining immediate denial questioning how he made them and viserys telling him by killing them.
