It's like. Just think of what the dudes expression would be like. It would be a legendary prank.

Or! Or.

What we if we turn ourselves into the letter.

I think a comprehensive divination tree really couldn't hurt considering we have a ton of questions we could ask which means more actionable intel we can actually DO stuff with while waiting three days.

Let you know try my mystical un voting power.

[X] Run down a list of your enemies using commune to see if you can find out who this is.

So, in the unlikely case Amrelath ever levels, what do you think about Warlord?

Golden Lion, Primal Fury and Thrashing Dragon would be really fucking scary on a big Red.
And it makes him good at leading others into glorious melee.
Not mortals, propably, but whatever he can turn into his subjects on Fire over the next year or so...

Guys, seriously, waiting 3 days is a horrible idea. You are wasting a ton of time and ceding the initiative to our enemies.

Right now we are the unknown factor in the game, but if we stick our thumb up our but and wait, they will start planning around our interference.

Make a vote? I assume many people are waiting for you.

Just one level of Sorcerer and he gets access to Teleport. I think that's a lot more valuable for him. That kind of maneuverability will probably be the difference between life and death when he joins the war in the Plane of Fire.

So do we just have Dany start hunting in the dreamlands right now?

It's not like we'd waste that time.
We can check out the locals, see who's worth bringing on our side and who'd better die in the invasion.

Not like the unknown enemy can adjust his plans. Divinitation doesn't get us and we just flipped the regular spy.

He can buy a wand or a 3/day item.

He's making decent money if he keeps fighting as well as he does, so that's really no issue.

What? She is a pawn, not a spy. Whoever send her already controlled the invitation list.

And Mindblank doesn't turn every enemy of ours stupid and unable to act. We are right here, meddling in things and if they actually try divinations and get blocked by Mindblank, that is a DEFCON 1 situation for them.

I'm just not really seeing any risk.

We are right here, talking to the important people of Lys. Getting to know them and having a chance to influence them is extremly valuable by itself.
I just don't see our enemy being able to escalate here, so we can take the time to use this wonderful opportunity.

No he can't. Teleport is a 5th level spell and wands cap at 4th level.

I also support him gaining at least one level of Sorcerer. Access to 5th level spells is too good to pass up.

No, we are talking to a specific group of important people, who are curiously far away from Lys right now and gathered in a very specific location for a few days.

And an assassination attempt of unknown origin was made on Aedon The Negative-Worthy right after they left.

We have no idea what the enemy will do in these three days were all these people are out of the picture for events in Lys. This might be a hostile take-over of another faction.

I am against giving Amrelath Sorcerer levels. He'll get them eventually anyway, and otherwise he can compensate with gold.
Amrelath is doing very well as a melee Tank/beatstick: let's take it even further in the future!

He'll get them eventually... well outside the scope of this quest. We will literally be waiting 200 years before he reaches the next age category.

He's already great at melee, and the chance at level 5 spells when they'll be most useful is far too good to pass up.
