I'm not sure about that. Ling Qi doesn't need to be a great scholar now (although Xin would approve), but as a spymaster she'll need the knowledge to turn the clues she finds into actionable intelligence.

Wasn't the mirror a really good ingredient for something when we're stronger? If we're serious about starting a clan having a powerful talisman/artifact/whatever to use and hand down strikes me as being much better than some extra money now. Maybe if selling it really would actually fund the setup for our fief.
I'd at least like to see what the next bracket of sect income is before hocking off our super treasure.
Xuan Shi is better than Xiulan for this but I'd rather have a special moment between Ling Qi and Zhengui. Plus it won't win anyway

We know more music than FSS and FVM, they just aren't arts. Like, seriously, we do know non-art music, it's come up a fair amount.
There was speculation on Discord it might be TRF adjacent or stuff similar to TRF in philosophical style. I figure that is likely, along with stuff that shares Weilu theming, in the sense that it springs from Weilu culture and associates with either the Moon or Sun. The Xi and Hui and their associated count clans would have had Weilu influence still within them after all.
Definitely. It's possible it'll play a tertiary role if we need to research things to help spy efforts, but that's not enough to worry about it for the scope of this quest. We can work on it after the Sect if we end up needing it, or else Renxiang will insist on it, but we shouldn't need to pursue it unprompted.
I'm crossing my fingers to see Darkness or Music in an art, but as long as we get a usable art that connects to something we've done it'll be a welcome bonus.
