Also now would be a good time to give the brother and sister those ships they've been wanting, a handpicked crew, and some 'mercenaries' to go home and sort shit out.

Isn't that about the same thing as mine only you spell out the obvious details that I'm sure dragon would have covered anyways?

The cost of doing a good job is more work. We know that more than well enough ourselves.

Though I do recommend we do some physical healing as well. Not enough to be a "miracle" but definitely enough that the old man can defend himself should the fished face-fuckers come knocking.

You focus squarely on Deep Ones, not so much on ruling well.

@Goldfish, could you add this?

Was just thinking, do we take Mereth to Valyria?
DP said she is around two major fights away from her first level-up.

Sounds like we should find her two major fights before we hit Valyria, then.

Ya is there something we could do to give him a few extra years maybe?

Restoration, pancea, reincarnate?

Blood Wish-directed reincarnation. We can Blood Wish the reincarnate, and then we can use another Blood Wish to direct the spell and make him a human male.

It brings up an awkward succession problem, though... @DragonParadox, can we just shave 20 or 30 years off instead of just making him a young adult? I'd like to avoid accidentally stripping the son of his inheritance.

@Goldfish it might be a good idea to add in something that explains the actions of the OGs. The guy's obviously been around the block more than a few times and giving the mysterious stranger a motive would probably put him more at ease than any reassurances we could give.

Also, what is our long-term plan here? I was under the impression that we'd have him publically convert, and in return we'd be growing a bunch of vegetation/a heart tree. One obviously that isn't sacrificed with the Toad Idol, and since it was done by 'Dywen' the Illithid won't know it was us anyway.

Here's the roster for the Valryia expedition:
-[] Legacy of the Dragon Lords: The time has come at last to explore the sundered lands of Valyria to see what might be found among the ruin of your ancestors, and perhaps the truths that prophecy might show
--[] Assigned (8+ Days; may extend into next month): Viserys, Dany, Richard, Garin, Malarys, Tyene, Lya, Waymar, Mereth, Leto, Erinyes (x1)
We have more Erinyes available now, if y'all want to bring more, but I think three is plenty. I feel more comfortable knowing the extra five are available to help defend SD in our absence.

@DragonParadox Can the third unnamed Erinyes we scheduled to bring along be the one working towards becoming a Paladin of Law?

Seems pretty cut and dry to me. From his perspective, the OG want him to rule well, protect his people from the Deep Ones, and be ready to survive when the next Winter rolls around.

I doubt he'd think they are so altruistic. Implying that the Old Gods have a grudge against the Deep Ones would make 'their' actions seem much more logical in his eyes.

Paladin of Tyranny.

Anyway, we also have two Wayfinders we can use to maximize the collection of loot.

Also... should we grow a weirwood? It makes sense IC that Dywen would be able to do it, but I'm unsure if it would be too big a provocation. I won't deny that I want to do it, though.
