That's neat, but we need the Corbrays as the scapegoats for this. They are in a well suited position to smuggle supplies to Dalla and are well known to carry a grudge against the Royces since time immemorial.

I'm just currently thinking how to best point Grafton in the wrong direction.
Have you considered my proposal? Disguise as Corbrays, infiltrate the prison and kill the prisoners, leave someone alive that can identify us as Lyn, surely Richard is good enough to stab someone in an incapacitating, but not lethal place?
At the same time, or a day before, kidnap Lyn and put an agenda on him, to make him incriminate himself as much as possible.

I was under the impression that these were more informal titles, rather than our 'official' name, where courtiers get to rattle out shit for a solid twenty plus seconds.

Also, what do you think would be a good quote for Viserys?
They're official names to the people that matter. Lord of Fire and Air is how we officially introduced ourselves to the Shaitan and the Djinn. And the Dothraki all know us as the Dragon Khal.

Also, what does Viserys need a quote for?

That would require Corbray men to be near Gulltown and doesn't address the issue that we kinda need to either flip or kill Grafton as per our deal with the Old Gods.

Give me a moment. I have a rather involved amount of mummery that might just get us to convert him.

What if Grafton publicly goes Apostate for the Seven? Denounce them and the whole nine yards? Would that appease the Old Gods, or at least let them take the black after the restoration or something?

We might be able to have Alyssa Grafton's bastard son take over. That humiliation should appease the Old Gods. If it doesn't, eh. We'll come up with something else.

I think it would be better if you write that down in the crafting list in the future, since you seem to have a very specific amnesia issue on that.
They are for ACSEC offices and the governments of Tolos and Mantarys.

Despite having so much to do and not enough to do it, it's still great to see how much we do accomplish.

@Goldfish, reminder that Svitran is going to start needing basic gear, like a PfE item, Healing Belt, and possibly mithral fullplate since he's a cleric.

And then we'll be getting Imperator as a title once we finally get around to forming the Imperium and having most of Essos openly declare themselves for us.
... Am I the only one who finds 'Imperator' kind of dumb? It's literally just emperor in Latin. Now, I'm all for making our empire an expy of the 40K one because it's goddamn awesome (Inquisition, Scholarium, I'm half expecting us to start pumping out supersoldiers in heavy magitech armor) but I feel like at this point we're just being dishonest. I justify of all the latin words that we're using 'in character' by viewing it as essentially similar to the reason we actually use latin words in real life: we're taking a Valaryian term and using it as the name in order to make it sound cooler. I get that we're trying to avoid the negative connotation that 'emperor' has due to that one dragon rider who got himself and 30,000 people killed right after the Doom, but it's just too much of a stretch and sounds weird. A bunch of other people seem to think it's fine, so it my just be my personal preference, but regardless I'd like to officially vote for just calling ourselves 'Emperor of Westeros and Valaryia'.

Thanks. I was trying to work on the character pages and got tripped up on all the folders.

@LonelyWolf999
"Wherever my rule has come to, I have brought peace and order to the people. I have taken care of the weak and the infirm, shattered their chains and cast down those unworthy of the power they wielded. The lives of all of them have become better for it, save for those few leaches who feasted on those weaker than them. I cannot, I will not sit by and watch as we mortals tear each other apart over dirt and crowns and stupid grudges older than the cities that still carry them to this day. We are as cattle before the empires of the immortals around us, who prey on us as they please while we draw lines in the sand and ignore what lies beyond them. This world needs peace and order, not war and chaos. And I will see this dream come to into being, knowing that it is necessary. If I have to fill a thousand thousand graves to unite us against the coming darkness, then so be it, for if they win, there will be none left to grieve for the dead."

Also, what do you think would be a good quote for Viserys?
This to me, is quintessential.

I really like Imperator. Besides, Emperor has some pretty hefty negative connotations in Westeros thanks to that moron Aurion of Qohor who died trying to reclaim Valyria.

Those will be informal titles indeed. We should be formally known as:

Viserys Targaryen the Third of his Name, also known as Viserys the Sorcerer.

Who else is the Sorcerer in Sorcerer's Deep referring to?

Added him to the list I just posted and deducted the items from our dwindling stockpile.

What weapon do we want to give him, btw? Given that these are serpentfolk stats.

Abilities|Str 10, Dex 18, Con 12, Int 14, Wis 10, Cha 15

Not the strongest, but pretty freaking dexterous.
Depends on what he is proficient in, or if the Serpentfolk have preferred weapons.

I get that. As I said, my objection to the title is basically that it doesn't make sense IC and that I don't like how it sounds. It's essentially a difference in opinion and I'm fine if people want to stick with it. As for the connotation, I never got the impression that it was such a big deal, especially not in Westeros which would be largely removed from the Century of Blood and all its cultural trauma. In any case, I don't believe that it'll cause any issues - the people that hate us will continue to hate us, and the people that love us will continue to love us. For better or worse our way of holding Essos without having to go through the song and dance that we did in Tyrosh will be by appealing to the legacy of the Freehold, making all the magisters like the idea of being part of the Freehold reborn more than they hate the idea of bowing to some westerosi barbarian who wants them to give up their slaves.

I dunno. I've never seen any mention of it, beyond the rangers using bows. We'll probably have to ask.

*shrug*
I've just always thought it sounds a hell of a lot cooler than Emperor, just like Imperium sounds cooler than Empire. Besides, we've been using bastardized latin for a while now as a stand-in for Valyrian, so it's really not as OOC as you believe.
