If that were the case, shouldn't we have noticed with Ser Richard's armor? We found out pretty quickly that Valyrian Steel doesn't give DR like adamantium does. Wouldn't we have seen if there was SR or not?
I asked that question twice. I also asked where the DR went, since its material properties, besides corroding metal, seemed most similar to adamantine to begin with, armor being made out of that having DR, or weapons piercing DR (which VS does do, but not the reverse, for some reason).

@DragonParadox, just like Mithral reduces the chances of Arcane Spell Failure by 10%, does Valyrian Steel do anything similar? It's a potently magical metal.
Mithral doesn't reduce ASF because it is magical, but because it is much stronger than steel while weighing considerably less. This makes the armor easier to move in, thus not interfering with the Somatic gestures needed to cast a lot of Arcane spells.

Yeah, that was super confusing to me as well. It was also the reason for the unspoken agreement that Ser Richard's future armor is not going to be Valyrian Steel.

The only reason the ship would have to fight a kraken, would be if it was attacked by a kraken, which cant happen to the demiplane. In any other situation, the 5 weeks it would take the ship to ge there would give the kraken enough time to get there, and if we have to get somewhere with a kraken, i would rather taken the regular ship, than risk our only dryad ship.

That would take research, Viserys is only sure about the concentrated evil because the Valyrians did something like that. Remember the first time you entered the flesh forge of Lys and found a channel for a river of blood?
I really wish we could have learned the ways of such masters of the craft. That level of sacrifice is just unreal.

Now that you are here, seriously, anyway we can have our cake and eat it too? i cant believe this is the last dryad seed in the world, or that dryads cant reproduce in any way.

@Azel if we're going to do one of these I insist we do the other.

I don't care what it is, but we have to make something powered by an evil, anti-evil reactor.
