You're talking about Fireburst. It's a 2nd level spell that inflicts a maximum of 5d8 damage. Using Spellblast, unfortunately requires a Full-Round Action, which seriously hampers our combat potential. Fireball has a much longer range, a much larger area of effect, and a higher damage potential, while not requiring a successful Ranged Touch Attack in order to have any effect.

That feature of @Artemis1992's PrC was ruled as too powerful by DP, I believe. Or that it would need to be limited in some manner. I can't recall exactly.

It cost str damage per cast, and probably a seventh level spell slot, if that was insufficient, I'd say str+dex damage or cha damage like Viserys. Honestly, I just want a class like elderich theruagh, but with enough skill points to function, at least to get some sense motive (though I agree that concentration should be his focus). Ohhhhh! Actually, I think you should max his UMD. It or spell craft are used in the ID ritual, and the risk of no magic for two days should be borne by not Main Character, and mitigated as much as possible.

I really don't like his shatter invocation. The fluff implies bad stuff (via black speech) and DP like to use fluff to impact narrative. Maybe replace it with a utility/skill boost invocation?

Edit: is there a spell to use with spellblast that is worth the action economy cost? To Google!

If he was in fact an actual Warforged, rather than an Awakened Construct of some sort, we should actually be able to Resurrect him the old fashioned way.
Regardless of whether or not we dedicate study time to him next turn, as a minor action we should start putting our skull collection to use.

Ask the construct's ashes about what it is, and all details about the ritual it made so we can recreate it.

Ask the Lich's skull what cypher it uses for its notes, its library, and its grimoire. (key to Valyrian Steel)

Ask Tor's skull what exactly this "great treasure" he knows of in the Red Waste is and what dangers we'd face by going there. Similarly ask him about various other places he visited and the problems he encountered.

Ask the Ulitharid Corpse about the fortresses it knows of and where they're located.

etc. It's high time we put those skulls to work.

@Everyone, I've attached Azel's plan, unaltered, along with my level up plan for Maelor. Please change your vote so that we can get both of these taken care of.

[X] Plan Recruitment
-[X] Turn back to the mural and calmly continue your discussion.
-[X] "It is sad to know that only the trappings of religion could make men listen to wise counsel."
-[X] "May I call you Messenger then?"
-[X] "Your goals are noble indeed and gladly would I make common cause with you, though my dealings with the divine make it difficult to support the means you took."
-[X] "What have you heard about Sorcerers Deep and its inhabitants?" Set the record straight if necessary.
-[X] "This world has languished far too long under the yoke of petty cruelty and avarice, yet I have seen even the basest wretch reach the greatest heights if given nothing more then purpose and guidance."
-[X] "We share a goal there [INSERT PREFFERED NAME]. I seek the knowledge of old, to mend the scars left by the Freeholds folly. I have not come to this city to pillage it for my ends and abandon it when it's served it's purpose. I think we can aid each other greatly."
-[X] If he is unsure, offer him to visit SD to see for himself what we want to create.
-[X] "On matters closer at hand..."
--[X] Temple guard of Trios will be reduced to 120, just like that of Burny. You are always in need of men of skill and good character, so you will gladly recruit any who wish into the Legion, Lawmen or Administration if they have the aptitude. This city needs order and law in the coming transition.
--[X] You've contemplated what to do with the statue he once gifted Tyroshs Archon. If he wants, it can be returned to his temple, otherwise you would sell it off whole or in parts to finance the coming reconstruction of the slums and the transition to a non-slavery society.

[X] Maelor Level Up
-[X] Class: +1 Eldritch Theurge
--[X] NOTE: @DragonParadox Maelor's Eldritch Blast should currently be at 5d6, not 4d6. Also, can we finally learn what that ??? is on Maelor's character sheet?
-[X] Skills (4 points): +4 Concentration
-[X] Lesser Invocation: Flee the Scene
-[X] Spells:
--[X] 1st Level: Mage Armor
--[X] 2nd Level: Invisibility
--[X] 3rd Level: Fireball

Just +4 to Concentration? How is his estimated skill progress?

We're playing catch up thanks to the low number of skill points earned per level of Eldritch Theurge and Maelor's race being Tiefling rather than human.

He's not got a lot of skill points, but he does benefit from the Beguiling Influence and Draconic Knowlege Invocations, which go a long way toward making up for it. Unfortunately, we waited until fairly late to turn our attention to his Concentration skill. Some of that is due to the difficulty we had identifying magic items, so we pumped his UMD up to the max. I was tempted to try to retrain at least a few points out of UMD, but it's still a useful skill.

If we dump points into Concentration this level up, we can put another couple into it next level and he'll be good to go.

Speaking of that, there are still a few items we need to throw him and Glyra at.
Curiosities:
Asshai'i Shadow Silk
Black Tablets made of Dragonscale
Blood Chest
Minotaur Chains
Two broken Rune Guardians (Necromancy)
Lich's Potion
Cursed Athame
Red Abishai's scale
I want that Mimic.

@Goldfish In his defense, it is hard to concentrate or meditate or focus when magic items have a habit of trying to strangle him to death, attempting to blind him, drain him to a lifeless husk, or threaten to explode. :lol

Wait, broken rune guardians? The broken rune guardians? We still have those?
I honestly don't know. I've completely lost track of if we haven't already gotten rid of them in some fashion. If we still have them then maybe we can throw them at a mageling as an extra-credit project. "Make something useful out of these and you get 50 IM."

That was cleared up within one page, I raised the price a bit.
A Sword Without a Hilt: A Song of Ice and Fire/D&D 3.5 Crossover | Page 3105
In hindsight it doesn't really seem fair that Maelor only gets a chance to cast it without XP, when Viserys gets the certainty, but what's life without a bit of risk?
And his price is lesser anyway.

[X] Goldfish

Maelor surely must be considered a master at grift by that point if even the price he has to pay is less than what anyone else would if caught "red-handed", as it were. :V

@Goldfish You know I did the math what feels like a year ago now, or at least 8 months, and I believe that DP posts at a rate as to make it essentially 1:1? Sometimes a little better than that actually.

On average he only takes a little longer than a month to do one turn though, especially if we don't travel around too much like we did this turn.
