OK then interlude next? I'm thinking Dany dealing with Tor's mages.
YES YES YES!!!
Hype!
More nice-but-terrifying Danny!
You're the best DP!

And about the Malarys vote: let's all vote to put all this skill points into Knowledge (Religion) for now. It'll bring him halfway to qualifying for Contemplative and qualify him for Justiciar next level, so we can argue what to do then.

[X] Make sure Daenerys and Lya takes the time to learn consecrate from Yrael / willing celestial. Before they leave for Mantarys. :(

But not slaved to a domain so it will fade? Pretty sure that's why Daenerys had to desecrate something way back post-Mantarys.
It's not about the domain.

Consecrate just has a limited duration. If you consecrate something, it fades after 2hours/level.

A divine altar or something similar can cause a permanent consecration, similar to the Hallow around Hearttrees, but that's not something you can learn how to do.

You could try it with Permanency but that's an Arcane Spell and the list given with the description only includes other arcane spells.

Aging her to death it is.

I am supremely uninterested in recruiting her.
Why are you supremely uninterested in recruiting her, if you are going to condemn her to permadeath, at least give me a reason instead of just because you say so.

At least wait with passing judgement on her until we have actually met her, right now it's just you being salty, and deciding she must die because she's competent and working for our enemy.

Again few positive feelings and a genuine contentment in our current list of PCs. Why are you so interested in her anyway? She's proven herself competent but competent isn't a good enough reason. Explain your reasoning because all I see is a way for us to either be backstabbed or kill her slower

@Artemis1992 thanks for clearing that up, weird. I was certain Lya needed Yrael to fully unlock her conscrate... like its domainless now or something.

Anyhow, Daenerys needs to learn consecrate so she can make nice altars of draconic glory. (Let's usurp Bahamuts spot as Tiamat antithesis.)

1) This isn't permadeath, this is aging her to death. It's just a more secure execution where she can't come back to life. Her soul is untouched and free to roam the afterlife.
2) I have no interest in her being under our rule, I just want her dead. There. That's my reason. I have no obligation to provide further reasoning.

Hey, you know what will be funny?
The thief we're looking for is also the mage currently with Saladhor.

I really don't get why?

She hasn't done us any great injury or offense and her keeping the Westerlands safe is not bad for us, it's easier to deal with Tywin than a Devil/MIndflayer/whatever controlled land.

My reasoning is that I don't think it's a sure thing, but I don't think she's so bitter an enemy, that it's not worth it to do some divination, to see if she can be turned to our side, if the answer is no, we kill her or don't revive her, depending on if we took her dead or alive, but if divination actually indicates she can be turned I want to do so.

I'm not particularly committed to turning her in particular, what I'm committed to, is opposing the beginning tendency to use snap judgements, I see this as a symptom of.

I don't like the tendency, the thread has to call for the dead or worse, of mostly good people we haven't even tried alternatives with.

Are she really worth a sacrifice to Yss to keep dead? I doubt that curse comes cheap, and aging to death in an instant sounds rather painful, can't we just kill her normally?

And I have to ask, in character, what crimes have she committed that allows us to lawfully execute her? She's an enemy combatant so killing her in battle is certainly an option, but I don't think she has committed any crimes, that our laws actually punish with execution, so what's your in character reason for executing her?

Not PR wise. If we are fighting a westerlands clearly in league with evil it will be way easier to change things afterwards.

If it werent for Gendry and all the other innocent of KL I wouldnt mind seeing it go boom. Just to make it easier to pick up the pieces.

KL is not in the Westerlands.

And keeping a branch-family of the Lannisters that knows they exist at our mercy and grace in charge there should make it easier to rule afterwards than a demon-infested area would be.
