On the one hand, it sounds like the (VAST HORDE OF) Stirlanders could use a bit of leadership, or just a figurehead.
But on the other hand, wizards. Whom Dwarves mistrust in general.
From what I can gather via skimming, Gold Wizards are strongly materialistic, and very fond of shinies.
Amber Wizards, meanwhile, are basically anarcho-tribalistists who live out the wilderness, and don't care about ridiculous civilized trappings like "money".
...I suspect that trying to get them to do anything, especially together, will mostly result in headaches.
Many, many headaches.
Still, if we work with the wizards, we can (probably?) attach our small troupe to any of the larger army groups who could use help. If we go with the Stirlanders, the wizards will likely do their own thing; probably not very effectively.
It'll be a learning experience, I'm sure.
[X] Accept as the most senior Wizard present (commanding two Amber Journeymen and one Gold Journeyman).
Spending time with and getting to know:
[X] The Amber Wizard journeymen.
[X] The Gold Wizard journeyman.
Hi guys. I like your... bling... and raw leathers. Um. Sorry, my diplo is terrible.
[X] Deliver last-minute messages for Belegar, trying to scrape together any remaining support to be had before leaving.
- [X] To Dwarfholds of the Grey and Black Mountains.
If the Dwarfholds rolled poorly, it sounds like they could use a few rerolls. And Mathilde happens to specialize in delivering messages speedily and reliably.
Bring some more cannons, please. We like cannons.
