Ok, just before we go all conquest happy, I feel that I should share that I feel that we can get away with sticking down an outpost and frowning at anyone who tries to complain about it. Conquer the place later.

Now that is said... shall we get conquest happy? :D

It'll grow that much by pure virtue of its age. We'll get something bigger than Winterfell's tree, maybe even rivaling Bloodraven's tree. It's just a matter of making the right ritual and gathering enough sacrifices to properly feed it.
 
No point going through with half measures. Might as well just keep them off-balance the whole way and exploit the hell out of this opportunity. They will be thoroughly demoralized.

    -[X] Port to SD. Tell everyone that we are mobilising right now. The Shadow Tower and the Legion are to be prepared for deployment.
    -[X] Take Xor, Garin and Tyene along. Also the Iron Golems.
    -[X] Dany, Garin and Tyene will accompany our guest to the hidden market of Lys to gather intel. Bribe her well if necessary and offer her a job.
    -[X] Viserys and Lya inspect the Fleshforge.
    -[X] Xor, guarded by the rest, errects a curtain wall around the tree as a staging area.
    -[X] Once everyone is back, prepare to cast all the divinations.
    -[X] Also get the bedroll for a powernap for Viserys.
    [X] Plan - Lysian Embassy
    -[X] Using the Shadow Tower, transport Xor with the Lyre, a team of Bulabar tinkers, and all of our Pech to begin renovations on the area surrounding the new Godswood of Lys. They will sure up the walls, build a gatehouse to help regulate the flow of visitors, and a small keep to house the permanent contingent of overseers we will need to station there.
    -[X] Vee, with help from Dany and any Children of the Forest who wish to help us secure the newest Wonder of the World, a towering monument to their gods, assists the construction contingent in whatever manner is necessary to enable them to speedily build the necessary structures without harming the Godswood, destabilizing the Flesh Forge hidden beneath the Heart Tree, or allowing the various powerful factions present in Lys to interfere.
    -[X] A dozen Minotaur Fighters, as many Little Valyrians as can be convinced to, and a detachment of soldiers (with necessary numbers determined by Richard and Viserys), will be stationed there indefinitely, to protect the Godswood, our workers, and anyone who might wish to visit the Heart Tree to partake of its blessings. This will also serve as a base for our newly minted adventurers when they are not in Sorcerer's Deep or out on missions.
    -[X] Until the defenses are finished being constructed, we will also station the Iron Golem here, with the control figurine being entrusted to the care of Xor or another party member who is present.

Hey guys I'm wondering what are the plAns for increasing our pr in westeroes once we get there? Do we actually have the resources to make most of westeros like us as much as our current civilians do?
 
Personally, I've been waiting for us to go F U L L C O N Q U E S T for some time. I am tired of fighting the Monster of the Week™.
 
@Azel @Goldfish, point of note: Lys currently has those two wands they stole from Aurane Waters (which he stole from the Lannister mage). We should count on those being used against us.

The problem I see, that if Lyseni behave intelligently they just won't give us a good casus belli afterwards, and attacking them after having an accepted embassy in the heart of their city will look worse. So let's just get it over with.

Please no invasion yet :cry:

We still have lots to do. We can postpone the invasion up to when we have planned it for Tyrosh. Our fleet is scattered. A conquest of the surroundings for an embassy would be best for now.

@Takesis, you want to station a small army in Lys. They will never accept this.

We need to move right now to at least get the benefit of surprise.

And admitting that we colossaly screwed up her and blundered into a war will cost us dearly.
 
Whereas just 'rolling with it' and invading immediately will at least make it seem like we're... well, to be honest, if we pull it off? It'll make us seem like we're Aegon the Conqueror reborn.

Except obviously a better administrator.
 
I've thought long and hard about this and it's sadly now or never. I hate this mad scramble instead of the carefully planned conquest of Tyrosh just as much as you guys, but this is the cards we got. We can't do anything but play them as good as possible.

Pretty much this. We can either play it by ear and come out as a military mastermind or as a doofus that screwed up his blood rites.
