Thinking about all this, how that more mighty did we just make the Old Gods? I assume the Landwarden is based on Genius Loci(both are CR 30), so fuck, that is a metric fuckton of might.

Are the Others in full panic mode? What of the other deities who are no friends to the Old Gods?

Also, as to the Golems, have we bedecked them in the Black and Red yet? If they're to be seen as ours, they have to be bedecked in the Black and Red. :V

Give them pretty ribbons then?

Sheyeeeoot. We need the mercs that Lys hired. We can operate our legion out of the sanctuary effect for now and hopefully get a smooth transition. If our agents can't be targeted due to their location, we can range out to deal with individual problems while the ready-made hired blades assert our authority out in the streets.

On one hand, I don't want to give a fuck about Lys, Burny and politics of this place are shit and I'd hate to sink time into setting protections and doing peace-talks.
And conquering it will be even worse.
On the other hand, we can't just leave this thing as it is, with flesh-forge 2.0 (barkforge?) underneath and lots of deragonstone to carefully remove...

Uuuuugh, I hate this kind of situations. Either way we'll risk something.
And yes, dealing with Burny is as much of a problem for me as losing loot.

DragonParadox: ...and then they decided to throw out half their notes and invade the city.
Other QMs: Huh... did you consider not making the tree the size of a small skyscraper?
DragonParadox: And throw out half my notes?!
Other QMs: This seems like a reoccurring problem.
DragonParadox: Oh it's no problem... it would be a problem if they didn't know how to adapt. Or if I couldn't adapt with them.
Other QMs:  o_O
DragonParadox: ...what?
Other QMs: I think you and us have different perspectives here...

Lys is beautiful, just imagine how much more beautiful it might be with more sensible and less cruel folk in power. It's a tropical paradise, why are we in the conquest business if not for places like Lys?

Hnnnnngh!
*Feels that Sorcerer's Deep doesn't have something as uber-cool as super-tree*
I... I need to sit down
*Feels cognitive dissonance with witnessing something awesome that is, ultimately, out of reach for quite some time*
We have the petrified weirwood from the freaking Dawn Age. I think we'll be fine for "most impressive weirwood in our capital" once we revive it.

No need to invade just yet people!
We have the social skills to fix the situation. Let's negociate (intimidate) them into accepting to let us defend and guard the new SuperTree, then proceed with our plans as normal while putting some of our forces in Lys.
Doing this now will make us look terrible in the eyes of the Iron Bank and the Sealord, who need to see us as dependable partners.
We need out first conquest to go well too, so let's not go off half-cocked please.

We could TP blitz a building, then TP in Legionnaires and Pech etc. to fortify the location, close in on important targets, never fight in the streets, an almost purely defensive war on the part of our Legionnaires with irrestible attacks by PCs, they'll have no idea how to deal with that.

I'm pretty sure this one act will send the Three Daughters to the tailors to purchase a metric fucktonne of brown pants.

We should just lightning conquest both Lys and Tyrosh and Myr a month apart from each other. :V

[X] Plan Accidentally A City
-[X] Port to SD. Tell everyone that we are mobilising right now. The Shadow Tower and the Legion are to be prepared for deployment.
-[X] Take Xor, Garin and Tyene along. Also the Iron Golems.
-[X] Dany, Garin and Tyene will accompany our guest to the hidden market of Lys to gather intel. Bribe her well if necessary and offer her a job.
-[X] Viserys and Lya inspect the Fleshforge.
-[X] Xor, guarded by the rest, errects a curtain wall around the tree as a staging area.
-[X] Once everyone is back, prepare to cast all the divinations.
-[X] Also get the bedroll for a powernap for Viserys.

I think that ship's left port. The slavers have been ever and ever more paranoid as we've spread our influence, so I really, really doubt they'll just take this lying down.

Seems sound... this is basically constructing our own siege... WITHIN their own walls, no less... we've already won. :V

Yes, please, no invading before Tyrosh. I'm terrified of what will lightning-conquest look like D:
Aaaand preferably before hunting down all Tiamat's minions.

While I don't like that we will have to explain to our allies how we managed to accidentally conquer a major city, I see no way that anyone wouldn't consider this a declaration of war.

...Can we loot the tree?
T_T
I'm getting ready to salt, this isn't what I expected to get out of this quest.

Updated my preliminary plan, now with an invasion.

EDIT: Ah, I see @Azel beat me to it.

[] Plan - Lysenni Conquest
-[] After thoroughly investigating the Flesh Forge in the aftermath of growing the new Heart Tree, we must move quickly to secure this place against those who would attempt to control it for themselves, or destroy it as an affront to their god(s).
--[] Using the Shadow Tower, transport Xor with the Lyre, a team of Bulabar tinkers, and all of our Pech to begin renovations on the area surrounding the new Godswood of Lys. They will sure up the walls, build a gatehouse to help regulate the flow of visitors, and a small keep to house the permanent contingent of overseers we will need to station there.
--[] Vee, with help from Dany and any Children of the Forest who wish to help us secure the newest Wonder of the World, a towering monument to their gods, assists the construction contingent in whatever manner is necessary to enable them to speedily build the necessary structures without harming the Godswood, destabilizing the Flesh Forge hidden beneath the Heart Tree, or allowing the various powerful factions present in Lys to interfere.
--[] Begin transporting the forces that were originally intended for the invasion of Tyrosh to Lys using the Shadow Tower, including as many Minotaur Fighters as can be spared in Sorcerer's Deep, any Little Valyrian volunteers, and all of our newly minted adventurers who are not already out on a mission. Leave the Iron Golem in Sorcerer's Deep, but bring both Iron Archer Golems to Lys to help with the transition of power.
-[] To Be Continued.

C'mon, we ain't got that Knowledge (War) for nothin', folks!

The first Blitzkrieg campaign! Viserys Targaryen will be a LEGEND before the age of 17!

Eat your heart out, Daeron.

We could just leave.

I'm optimistic the tree and landwarden can defend themselves.
No need to get directly involved here, I think?

"Viserys, why?!"

"It seemed like a good idea at the time. Also, there's something to be said of grand gestures... when they're done on your own terms."

Accidentally conquered Mantarys in one day.
Accidentally conquered Westhaven in one night.
Accidentally conquered Lys when we actually meant to conquer Tyrosh and have been extensively planning to do so.

Sounds legit.
