So. I've just read the description of that spell... And whoo boy, does it seem like everyone have some nasty way to permakill us or one of our party members these days.
Well, at least we have two clerics to torture information out of and sacrifice without any moral repercussions now!
The only way it gets better is by getting Illyrio and Lya crtitting on whatever that ritual we left her with was.

Welcome to high level dnd.
 
[X] Viserys, Aradia, Richard, and whoever else is needed use their Healing Belts to heal Viserys after Vee uses her Improved Touch of Healing to bring him up to 75% HP capacity.
-[X] Strip the unconscious Cleric of everything remotely magical then use our final 5th level spell slot to cast Baleful Polymorph to change her into a turtle.
-[X] Use Prestidigitation to clean the slain Babau's armor and weapons of the acidic slime coating them and any that remains on Waymar's sword. Then use Fiery Burst to incinerate the Demon's remains.
-[X] Return to the surface with our captive turtle, then seek out Lya and Dany.
-[X] Once the party is reunited, we will gather our new Golems, track down the remaining sellswords, kill those who refuse to surrender, then finish tracking down Illyrio.

-[X] while this is happening, the cleric is devisted of magic items, the demonstuff is burned (fiery burst or flame breath) or has it's valuables removed depending on how long that would take.
-[X] the wards are checked, and then the place looted of things that won't set off the undead in the taking
-[X] the crossbow people can carry the cleric, warned that if they kill her or let her die, they may well take her place. (A lie, we'd just kill them prbly)
-[X] sellscribe uses wayfinder to point to irrilo, offering conjecture on where he might be headed with the hope of getting find the path info (to bypass traps)
 
Er... @Goldfish, I kind of just want to BP her. It's cleaner overall. And we're kind of screwed if she happens to have Still Spell and Silent Spell like Malarys. I'd rather not fuck ourselves over after we barely managed to win.

@Duesal Sorry, but we can't safely transport that shit right now and it will propably not do anything good while we wait for Lya to recover spells and then come down.

We used the bedroll less than 48 hours ago.
But with our Ring 2 hours are enough sleep anyway.
 
[X] Plan Wrapping Things Up
-[X] Vee heals Viserys
-[X] Strip everything with a magical aura from the cleric. If Viserys has enough spellslots left to use Versatile Spellcaster to turtle the cleric, he does so. Else, she is bound and gagged tightly and her unholy symbol safely stashed with Richard. If she has any symbols of Tiamat tattooed to her skin or similar means to provide a unholy symbol that can't be taken from her, cut it off.
-[X] Viserys, Vee, Maelor and Malarys check the ritual circle she used and make sure that the undead stay asleep. Be wary of damaging any bindings left on them, but try to dismantle her ritual.
-[X] Aradia carefully searches the room for any other hidden surprises or belongings of the cleric.
-[X] Waymar and Richard will interrogate the sellswords for any other intel they may have. Once Maelor and Malarys are done, they will join them and start interrogating them for loot. If they pried golden ornaments from the walls, they surely have a pile of those nearby.
-[X] Viserys checks the Wayfinder for Dany and Lya, using Circle Dances ability to get a general impression of their well-being to make sure they don't need assistance.
-[X] When that is done, he checks on Illyrio.
-[X] If there is treasure to be found, Richard, Maelor, Malarys and Aradia will get to looting.
-[X] If there is no loot or after they took it all, the group moves on to loot any offices that Illyrio, the Cleric or high ranking officers occupied. Take everything.
-[X] If Illyrio has already left the catacombs and is still found by Wayfinder, Viserys assumes HHD form and scouts for him.
-[X] Waymar and Vee move on to reinforce Lya and Dany.


This trip was a resounding success. The Old Gods better be hungry.

@Goldfish, a still silent escape spell is reasonable to expect imo. Turtle the bitch :D

Also, dude, we should go after Illiryo now! :D

No worries, I understand. I came to peace with it the moment I realized the babau had the nerve to deny us its body as a trophy. I just had to ask DP out of a vague hope we'd be able to make it work. :(

@DragonParadox, will we have a better shot at restoring the body with Make Whole if we take a second to cast Gentle Repose on the black sludge and just leave it here until later when we come back with our spells replenished?

Reminder that there should still be two apprentice wizards off somewhere in the city. We'll probably want to secure them as well.
 
@Azel Everyone should look at the ritual, especially Viserys and Vee. Both have high Spellcraft and/or knowledges.

Knowing full Delver numbers sounds good, too.

Otherwise that's what I was going to write.
