I'm certainly not going to lie to her about this. It's part of the spoils of our war against Baator. If she doesn't want it after knowing the origins, I'm fine with giving her the VS sword.

[] It was taken from a Horned devil slain in White Harbor by Ser Richard (show her the fiend).
-[] It should be safe to use, beyond the poor advice I mentioned, and some things that might make it even more unruly.
--[] Explain conflict triggers.
-[] This isn't a test or anything. I think it's abilities would be useful for a dragonrider, but if you do not wish to use it, or find it's more of a hindrance than a help, just tell me and we'll find something more suitable for you.

This was my quick write up, but Tomcost's seems similar enough. Feel free to plunder anything you think is useful @Tomcost.

So I cant really vote during the day,or keep apace with the pages, but;

How about we offer her a fabricated whip of cold iron (1/4 of the mace), so as to let her have another alternative?!

That's not really useful?

We can give her an adamant thinblade or magical whip if she doesn't want it, no issue, but why Cold Iron?

At the gym, didn't see the precious vote.

@Tomcost as we didn't mention in the update, the chain is significantly better than even a VS weapon. Significantly better than most of anything she might reasonably acquire in years to come.

@Tomcost maybe add in a bit about how if she prefers, she can choose between an adamantine thinblade +1/2 like garins or a Vs longsword, with the potential of a rapier (or any prefered weapon) or (very unlikely) a thinblade?

Aka spoils of WAAARR! In general I agree with treating it as a particularly insistent and bloodthirsty puppy, almost like a dire wolf puppy now that I think about it.

Which is why I want a stuffed Tywin Lannister.
What a horrifying decoration that would be. I would expect wanting to see the last of him instead of wanting to have him a lingering presence even after his death.

Also, that might give people ideas involving resurrection, for all the good it would do.

Tywin should be Barghest food. You don't want him to get back.

To be fair, you don't even want to let him get to Baator because he will come back as a Pit Fiend and attack our great grandchildren or something.. Maybe we should let a Daemon eat his soul or anything.

Ehhh, humans are native to the plane. It's not like we need an example of a human to demonstrate one, when, you know, we and most of our friends look/can look human. Most of our trophies are less obliging with popping in as a live specimen example. I'm just not seeing a use for a stuffed old human, other than convincing people we're a serial killer. :p
