Basically this. People are moving way too fast with getting excited about Rhaella.
She is an NPC right now. If and when she starts truly gaining steam as a PC, then we can give her proper adventurer's gear beyond her scheduled Amulet of PfE and her Belt of Healing.

By switching to Dany you'd tie it with Viserys now, both over Rhaella.
Only the STR of larger forms makes our melee viable.

Yes and when we aren't at least Large we don't bother with melee because our spells are much better.

Sorry @Artemis1992, I just really don't want the Rhaella vote to win and for us to give the sword to someone who'll barely use it. If Dany gets some more votes to be more comfortably over Rhaella I'll happily switch over, but as we are now I don't want to be surprised by more voters for this.

This is insane. It's as much of a trinket to Dany as it is for Rhaella. Maybe more.

Seems like he's the only one who could draw a reliable advantage from it. Dany's bonus is too situational, and she's likely to have better things to do than going into melee range against a dragon. Rhaella's would give her some protection, but considering the CR required to get close to Rhaella to begin with, it's not going to be much help.
Would be very useful against Westerosi Lords, who seem to have laser-guided stupidity against all outside-context problems. Best to keep a good sword on hand so Viserys can talk in their language.

Reminder: this artefact is mostly irrelevant to us (we're a ranged fighter or a Dragon), useless on NPC Rhaella, and Daenerys is better with touch spells anyway.

@DragonParadox, I really loved the whole festival mini-arc. It had great narrative and felt like a day long victory lap around SD.

What does Dany get out of it? Virtually nothing.
She hasn't once fought in melee. Not once.
On top of that, it's an hyper specialized item that won't see use in 99% of encounters. In the odd encounter it'd even trigger it's special ability, Dany will be busy unload her many offensive spells.

That's related to the fact that we never bothered to give her a weapon besides her tiny dagger.
With this sword melee-Dany can become a thing.
She can fight besides Viserys and Richard.
You know what I have a low sodium tolerance right now, especially overnight, so I edited in the other enchantments.
