Something to consider, Dark Sister was always a little...hrm...it had a dubious reputation. I'm wondering if it isn't a double-edged sword (heh), in that the effect we see is the surface need/desire, and the ??? effect will be born out of the needs/desires that are not admitted, and support that aspect of the wielder.

Don't give it to Rhaella. You guys are getting way too excited about her way too soon. As she gets stronger we can make her better weapons. Giving Dark Sister to her right now is basically throwing it away.

Not really. Our natural attacks (which spell combat doesn't apply to) are far more powerful, and we usually have a staff/rod/other magical thing in our other hand. Especially when we get the ability to turn into a full Dragon in another level. It's not worth it, imo.

Also we can't wield this and the Rod at once, so we loose one spell per round.

I agree with you on Rhaella, but Viserys has both hands full too.

The quickened spell from the Rod is more valuable for us than the Spellcombat attacks.

Basically, the choice here is between Dany and Rhaella. I support the latter on the basis that I'd rather not direct Dany down a path of existing only as an opposing force to Tiamat, which I believe this could do. Giving the weapon to Viserys when it won't affect his most powerful attacks, and be completely useless when we actually hit Dragon next level, is just stupid.

For all those voting for Viserys here, we almost always have a rod or staff in our off hand, our natural attacks are stronger than a sword and we can't apply Spell Combat to natural attacks.

We can make a golem bodyguard for Rhaella that out fights her with the sword ten times over.

It's downright underwhelming for Dany. It will be completely wasted.

Unsurprisingly, a sorcerer's sword is beyond good for an actual sorcerer. Seriously, amazing.

Dany has the insanely high willsafe, Rhalle is a level 6 character.

It doesn't apply to natural attacks. Explicitly. It is not in any way comparable to them, either, and will just continue to become more and more obsolete as we starting shifting into an actual dragon in combat.

We just really don't need a sword.
We have our Rod and Staff and we can decide to either cast two spells per round, more with Celerity, or full-attack as huge dragonman.

Either of those two options is always better than Spell Battle.
