@Azel We need to price Adamantine while we are here, along with any other potentially useful special material. We are basically at the source for the stuff. It won't get any cheaper unless we mine it ourselves, and that would be an immensely resource and time intensive endeavor.
My two stops for tomorrow are the noble bazaar for trade goods and the smiths for exactly that.

Pleasure today, business tomorrow.
Yeah, I also want to buy a couple hundred pounds of raw adamantine while we're here, both for PC weapons and to have the raw materials for a new suit of armor for Ser Richard.

Time to hunt for a former slave forge-apprentice who opened his own shop but struggles to break into a market dominated by centuries old smiths?
The nice thing about this place is, that we can actually do that stuff without worrying about randomly getting shanked.
I definitely want to return next month with Lya and the other half of the party for a second stroll.

@Azel we could probably export Gorgonbreeds to PoA. Truebreeds even eat stone right?!

edit: This might be something to cooperate with the Xorn about.

We should also inquire into available real estate, perhaps even see about opening a small embassy or trading post.

Here's hoping we roll good for Waymar's mount. At this point there isn't really another reason to go to the PoA.
@bigbow, we're still going to the PoA anyway even if Waymar's mount is taken care of right now.

1. The Djinn princess is giving us the Resurrection Scroll for Elia
2. Enter talks with the Djinn ruler
3. Buy griffin and hippogriff eggs en mass
4. Access to the PoA markets
etc.
I think we are better off buying adamantine from the Xorn, they are the miners after all.
Maybe, but I want the Xorn focused completely on getting us iron. And we don't need too much adamantine anyway. Just enough for a new suit of Armor for Ser Richard, and weapons for all PCs in our employ who need them.

I doubt we could get it from them as cheap as we can get it here. The Xorn have a small territory and Adamantine is rare even on the Plane of Earth. The Peerless Empire has access to many more potential sources.

Not to mention that the Xorn pooling their resources to get the Adamantine means less Iron for us. Let's just keep that smelter running non-stop.

@Azel would you consider switching Tyene with Malarys?

..I don't think Malarys has the uh "authority" to enforce order if Dany gets an idea.

edit: too slow xD

Yes, yes, yes! Perhaps we could see if a major shaitan family would grant land for a favor done. (Sidequest ho!)

Also, ahem:

Gorgons can't digest metals or gems, their dung is a treasure trove!

This is not a drill, we can have the Xorn herding grazing gorgonbreeds!

Gorgons derive nutrients from the consumption of minerals, particularly the stone of their petrified victims, and any statues they create are likely to be gnawed thoroughly. They cannot digest metal or gems, so their dung (which resembles bitter-smelling gray powder) often contains small, raw crystals and nuggets of ore. Their aggression toward all other creatures means that there are few to no predators or other prey animals in their grazing grounds. Each herd is led by a dominant bull; solitary gorgons are usually adolescent bulls driven out of their herd by the lead bull.

Their flesh is tough but beefy (once the armored hide is removed), and to those who acquire the taste, quite filling. Many stone giant tribes believe eating gorgon meat enhances their own natural armor.

No worries, we weren't even really expecting to have the extra 12,000 IM in spending cash anyway. 3,000 IM of that for Dany and Glyra to get us something interesting and maybe even useful is worth it.

We have two hard deadlines coming: the resurrection of Elia and the end of the Deep One truce.

Once Elia is up and about Dorne will have a limited time before it's known at which point it becomes obvious they've declared for us and war in Westeros kicks off. Doing anything in Westeros except fight the war will be nigh impossible.

Meanwhile, all out war with the Deep ones can be expected before the truce formally ends. We need to be ready for a massive alpha strike at the deep one city at that point. They'll have the advantage in an extended campaign and we'll have the Westeros campaign as a second front.

So ideally we want to get the wyldfire out of Kings Landing before the resurrection. We also want to be building our underwater capability - multiple redundant waterbreathing and swim speed for a big raid's worth of people, collecting aquan mercenaries and strengthening our allies that can operate in that theatre.

I have an idea of what we can trade the PoF information and path for! The removal of the most vile substance, wildfire.

We can't really calculate it's true value via money as it has too many unknowns, but if we leverage our fullest attempts to credit the Shaitans with the survival of the Djinn girl, lead them down a path, we can make a case to the Sultana that in payment, we ask not for wealth or power, but assistance. There is an unknown amount of the cursed flames of destruction in a city on our home plane, population 500 000 (give size of city). While it may be possible for the party to solve this, we fear that taking action will set it off.
A Xorn told us of the Silver Path(?); A mighty wizard may change it's course, but it would take a god to do so quickly. And with this peril, we need to act more quickly, more broadly than we are able. Please help.

Basically, Trade PoB info and path + maximum credit deferral regarding Djinn girl for their assistance in Removing, then Disposing of, safely, the Wildfire in KL.

As many wishes as it takes.

Nah, just make them an item of greater disguise and forget about it. If Doran's so paranoid he can come up with something else.

Uh, I don't see why this is needed for King's landing, unless the underwater bit is part of your Deep One's alpha strike thingy?

There is one point that I think you might have missed that's been brought up in the past- If Viserys only prepares for generalities, and does not have a specific plan, then divinations are obstructed, a tiny bit. Maybe not against gods, but as seen with Bloodraven, a really powerful mage, regarding Waymar's sister's situation, if the subject of the Divination does not know what they are going to do, then the Divination does not tell the caster what they are going to do.

Sure would be nice with something horse shaped to buy for breeding stock. Am not picky. :p

Although, the only ethical thing (for tha wallet) would be freeranged Encounter beasts. Like the Gorgon.

Edit: Missed the whole days votes, oh well work work zug zug :sour:
Bestiary. Templates. Mad science.

I am much more confident in Doran's ability to hide Elia's resurrection than our ability to hide Rhaella's. It's not a hard clock like you seem to think it is.

I am just surprised, seeing the salt Dany's anti slavery stance has caused in the past, that we'd put her in command of "team chaotic".
Fortunately from everything we've seen of her while in the Opaline Vault, Dany is seriously mellowing out. Still a hard stance of "slavery is wrong," but at the same time a lot less, "every slaver we meet must die" and "I must free all the slaves at once." I'm confident Dany won't do anything stupid. She becomes oddly responsible whenever Glyra is in the vicinity.

Probably because she has responsibility in that moment and maybe she recognizes her own urges in Glyra.

Also, Malarys is with them and he is a very smooth operator. He should take care of the worst of it.
