Also, @tarrangar, when traveling to other planes, you pretty much always want a small party sized group.

The only person who has any real right traveling alone, and even then only out of desperation, is someone who is perfectly and completely self sufficient in all respects.

The closest one to that is Viserys, and he doesn't have access to Planeshift on his own either. And all others who have Planeshift do not also have Teleportation, nor do they have any reason whatsoever not to have other people filling out roles for them that they cannot fill themselves.

Though to be fair Dany could fill any one role that she pleases, being a Cleric, but not all of them at the same time.

Viserys has at least the benefit of probably being able to take care of himself, being deficient in basically no areas.
 
Hmm. If we get that Elemental Substitution feat could we change Freezing Glance from Cold to Fire? Add Searing and Agonizing and we could melt people with a mean stare.

That would be a sight to see :V

I'm all for increased relations with the Shaitan, but we need to be extremely careful when dealing with them. We need a native guide, for sure.

They aren't just LN, they are LN to a degree that Stannis would find excessive. And they use enslavement as punishment for almost all law breaking.

You're conflating "messing with MS" as in "going to the Baazar of beggers" with "Messing with MS" as in "going through our portal to MS, whose exit point is quite far away from the baazar, at all"

The risk of visiting the Baazar vs the risk of sending miners/constructs to collect obsidian are very different and should be evaluated separately.

I think we all recognize the Baazar itself is out now, but we've not really looked at if we've effectively lost our lowkey mining operation.

Anyway, @Diomedon, in addition to shifting the time from Molten Skies I think we should shift focus from the Plane of Air to establishing trade with the Opaline Vault. We're staring right at someone who can lead us straight to the city. And we can do it without days of searching, and she can probably introduce us to a guide or something. Either way, time and money saved.

If we're more than a day away from a PoE trading spot, that's likely the best bet. We're going to lose crafting time, though, due to where the festival falls.
 
My guess was that whoever is in the ark is probably a Shaitan noble. Would be funny if it was the daughter of someone high up in the chain.

Freezing Glance does no damage, so Searing does nothing and it can't proc Agonising.

However, I support the notion of getting PAIN-eye-beams for Viserys.
 
He's a joke, but he's the Sultan's personal joke. His to humiliate as he pleases. The humiliation is a point in itself, for he could obliterate him as punishment, ground his soul up into coinage, whatever he wanted.

But he keeps him in a cozy, but ignoble and mockery of an office because it pleases him.

For him to be killed would be a personal affront.
 
BTW, genies really don't like being asked to grant Wishes. Let's not mortally offend any Pashas with such a request.

How can you downplay being a Red Chromatic Dragon... when you are standing on the corpses of burned enemies that cannot be burned, in full draconic regalia?
