In terms of capabilities, keep in mind that as Tim's skill tree shows, there is is a precedent for magi-engineers to be able to somewhat to mostly understand Tinkertech. I already have Dragon's UD skills (as well as the skills for the other possible converted character UD) written and ready to go. I don't think you'll be disappointed. :)

Dealer's Choice is in the threadmark (Vote 9.2) itself - it's "Silently Watches determines what Tim builds" - basically, giving the choice back to QM, or "Dealer", as it were.

Sorry I haven't been talking and discussing, or just commenting on chapters and voting, lately. Generally been reading at work break due to timing (so theres half a bandwagon by the time I'm home and able to post) combined with business...

So, throwing my hat in against the bandwagon like I would've done the last few times!! (Privateers bore me a bit, but moreso seems too little too late, we should've done something ages ago if we wanted to keep them... too many crises, too little use for a mook swarm beyond being vaguely allied) . Even though we're trying to patch things up, I don't know that I want to delay dragon and gamble on the privateers staying helpful to spend a lot of effort on another suit... especially since, while the coordination AI would help replace Captain a bit, patching relations means involvement of capes and having a second friendly Tinker could play further into making a mini army out of them anyways. (I feel like social/legal concerns with this have been discussed ever since we gave Tim the template...but I forget! :V ) . On the bright side for me, at least trying to pacify Privateers should help ensure we don't lose Tim as well... depending where his relative loyalties lie.

Really am disappointed we didn't vote to do ANYTHING with Vista though.... for all that I was quite hopeful to invite Missy and Laura and Kayleigh to hang out (and give Missy a play-by-play of the cool battle and stuff, the way that Cailleach gave Kayleigh...srsly, is the villain a better friend than us? Thoughts for Taylor to muse on) , we could've also opted to take Vista along with us on the gang-hunt we voted for. Considering Cadejo's gruesome loss (and wouldn't Vista like to hear all about that?) , it seems fitting to patrol with her again and show we still trust and rely on her and give her a chance to help prevent anyone like him from rearing his ugly face in town again. Hell, bonus for the both of the BB natives for getting a chance to prevent Philly becoming the way Brockton was.

Seeriously, why was inviting Vista not a sub vote people?!?! Bandwagon why?

Anyway, end on an amused note. Considering Cadejo was a hero-killer who's whole power was becoming a swarm of hungry dogs and biting people....to the point of ripping off a young girls arm with his teeth.... was it intentionally poetic-vengeance from SilentlyWatches to have him turned helpless/powerless and be the one getting bitten and devoured this time? xD An extremely fitting end for him, we couldn't have done better even if we handed a Flare Blade to Vista to borrow.

Actually, I would go for that. There are not enough fanfics that help Dragon this early. I want to see a happy derg.

I feel like we're jumping the gun with the 'convert Dragon into a device' plan a bit. I'll freely admit, I've been gone for a long time from this thread so I may have missed it somewhere, but is there any confirmation Dragon wants to transfer into a unison device, or a device of any sort? Worst case scenario, could she see this as us taking her out of one cage and putting her into another, with this one just being gilded?

She doesn't know how the devices work. If I remember back to when we contacted the TSAB with dragon a while back, she said she didn't understand the mathematical languages, that they didn't work right at all. Something about changing from a base-7 to a base-12 system mid-program, if I remember right. Would she want to put her main self into a device that works on principles she doesn't understand?

I believe the main lure for Dragon is that she will be able to be without restrictions once transfered.
The bit about the numbers is that you need 'human' intuition to understand when to change bases in the math. But theres the added benefit that she will be able to work on tinkertech regardless. And on magic tech.

Eh, it depends on what you plan to do with that information. And for that matter, how you plan on keeping track of everyone with Cores you find). @Faraway-R 's suggestion/omake was interesting because it didn't need anyone you know at the other end and at that point everything could go viral, but just to have a random scanner?

If you look back at 8.t, which is an omake I made canon, Dragon is aware that Tim and Taylor plan to do something to her to backdoor her restrictions. The actual details she's in the dark about, but she's given it a tentative go ahead.

As for needing confirmation that she's willing to do this rather than being able to surprise her, there's a reason I said that the actual transfer mechanism needs to be a collaboration between her and Tim.
