Colors, many of heroism, yield envy and fear. Time passes over passing time. Fear and envy yield, Hero of Many Colors.
Sarus has been running Bridge Four longer than anyone. He has trouble remembering the world before the Plains, and doesn't bother to imagine one after. But when a new bridgeman comes and offers the crew a chance at hope and freedom, Sarus can't help but take it.
Look to the sky, Curumo. All the old prophecies are being fulfilled. The Doors of Night are open, and Odium comes.

Soon after the Golden Company swear their swords to Aegon Targaryen at Selhorys, they find themselves in a strange and alien land. Surrounded by danger and far from home, how will the lost mercenaries, their captains and their young king seek to survive?
Decided to make use of this account and crosspost from SB. The first 'book' of the story is done, and I am in the process of writing the second.

Arriving in Westeros after a storm, a stranger is drawn into the politics of the land at a time when no sane man wishes to be. His skills are unique, making for a useful asset, but the ruler has gone mad, trusts no one, and is burning people alive. This, for the MasterHealer, feels far too familiar.

A low-ranking orc overseer in Mordor attempts to rise through the ranks and deal with outer as well as inner enemies.
Violence, betrayal and most kinds of bad manners abound. The orcs are a brutal lot. Upper Mordor management is worse.

The Tale of the One Ring and it's Master ended in the fires of Mount Doom. So too should've the story of Talion the Gravewalker. But the skeins of Fate, and the ability of a Ring of Power to look after itself, put a twist in Talion's story. For in another world, the Free Peoples are under the assault by merciless enemies clad in black iron bearing a great sun on their black banners instead of the flaming eye. Perhaps this world doesn't just need a professional, but also a Gravewalker?

1000 years before the One Ring's Destruction, Gondor was almost destroyed in 1944 of the Third Age, setting off a 1000-year chain reaction of events leading to Aragorn becoming the undisputed king of both Arnor and Gondor. But we only have the West's perspective of the 1944 event. What of the East? Travel beyond the Red Mountains and journey with us into the Eastern Empire.
This is a crossover between Water Margin/Outlaws of the Marsh (a.k.a Original Suikoden) and the Tolkien Legendarium...

Sauron Defeated!
Centuries have past since the great Alliance of Elves and Men met and defeated the Dark Lord on the ash blasted plains of Mordor, and a long period of peace and recovery settled upon Middle Earth. The Scions of Fallen Numenor continued to build their kingdoms, Arnor and Gondor, and steadily climb towards greater heights. The Elves remain steadfast in their inhabitation of their kingdoms, now blessed and protected under the full revitalizing power of their Three Rings of...

It is said that the seven fathers of the Dwarves returned again to their kin in Middle-Earth, returning life to their fallen forms to lead their people once more. Of these, the most renowned was Durin.
The dwarves of Orzammar have lost much. Their collective grief dominates their thoughts, their politics, their beliefs. Durin has lost even more. But he will not allow their trauma to drive his people to ever darker extremes. There is only one path, and it does not lead back. It is upon them...
