Sarus has been running Bridge Four longer than anyone. He has trouble remembering the world before the Plains, and doesn't bother to imagine one after. But when a new bridgeman comes and offers the crew a chance at hope and freedom, Sarus can't help but take it.
Look to the sky, Curumo. All the old prophecies are being fulfilled. The Doors of Night are open, and Odium comes.
The fight with Morganna went poorly and Jim and Claire ended up in Middle Earth. It's gonna be...fun...

Decided to make use of this account and crosspost from SB. The first 'book' of the story is done, and I am in the process of writing the second.
Arriving in Westeros after a storm, a stranger is drawn into the politics of the land at a time when no sane man wishes to be. His skills are unique, making for a useful asset, but the ruler has gone mad, trusts no one, and is burning people alive. This, for the MasterHealer, feels far too familiar.

The Tale of the One Ring and it's Master ended in the fires of Mount Doom. So too should've the story of Talion the Gravewalker. But the skeins of Fate, and the ability of a Ring of Power to look after itself, put a twist in Talion's story. For in another world, the Free Peoples are under the assault by merciless enemies clad in black iron bearing a great sun on their black banners instead of the flaming eye. Perhaps this world doesn't just need a professional, but also a Gravewalker?
